Most Cleric players might be so infuriated that their anger boiling within their hearts was sothing that couldn't be regulated after watching all three scenes.

After all, any dedicated Cleric player would feel the sa emotion once they saw the cleric in the scene of their tragic end.

'How dare the system try to ss with

ntally!' Xu Feng smirked, having witnessed the stereotypical perspective of the cleric being depicted in the 3 scenes.

In all of the scenes, the Cleric in focus was always being commanded to left and right without any appreciation shown to them.

It was as if the era in the world expected them to do their job flawlessly, and if they were to fail, then they would have to face criticism left and right.

The worst scenes were without a doubt, the Dynasty and Interstellar Era. Both these eras had the Cleric getting executed after failing to cure the important figure.

Only in the Modern Era, the cleric or doctor in their case, only got dismissed or demoted. And it wasn't because they appreciated their effort, but rather the modern law was strict and prevented them from acting in such a manner.

In the Modern Era, they couldn't possibly execute the doctor for their failure of treatnt, only trial to have their licenses removed.

Of course, Xu Feng also saw in the Modern Era that so doctors were even more unlucky and got prison ti for mishandling a patient aka manslaughter.

Overall, the system seed to be trying to indicate the life of a Cleric was tragic and difficult. One mistake could easily nullify all their past work and effort.

"I suppose they're trying to undermine my determination to continue the Cleric class." Xu Feng mused, finding the system's tactic to be quite amateurish.

Did they seriously think these types of scenes were going to weaken or shatter his will to continue the Cleric path?

He wasn't going to beco the diocre Cleric like those depicted in the scenes. There was just no chance in hell he would allow himself to be ordered around like so dog who wagged their tail for a piece of bone to chew.

His ntality was fortified and such a puny tactic can't dampen him whatsoever.

Being unaffected by the system's tactics, Xu Feng decided to go with the easiest one: Modern Era.

Why make your life difficult when you could have an easier life?

Unfortunately, it was as if the system had anticipated his decision or was just keen to troll around, Xu Feng received another system prompt.

System: You have banned Scene 2, Modern Era! Please proceed with your next choice!

"..."

Speechless, Xu Feng twitched the corner of his mouth. Indeed, the system only told him to choose a scene but never clarified anything else. It was rely his assumption, and the system had managed to swindle him.

By falsely making him believe the system wanted to dampen his ntality, he overlooked this fact.

"You've played ." He smiled and nodded his head. "Is the next choice a ban or a pick?"

He wanted to confirm what would happen if he chose again, but it beca pretty clear to him that the system had no intention of answering his question. Enjoy more content from My Virtual Library Empire

Having realized that it was a 50-50 chance of whether he was going to win or not, Xu Feng frowned at the situation.

Xu Feng doesn't like to gamble, only win. And if you only win then it could never be considered a gamble, but in this particular case, the system was the dealer, cheater, and administrator.

How could one possibly win in such an unfavorable situation?

"Argh, I guess I should bet on the system banning my choice again." Disheartened, Xu Feng held a reluctant expression as he clicked on Scene 1: Dynasty Era.

System: You have banned Scene 1 Dynasty Era. You would soon be transported to Scene 3 Interstellar Era! ETA 1 minute!

Reading the new prompt, Xu Feng nearly raised his arm to give the prompt a punch.

'Damn it! The system didn't fall for it.' He cursed silently. What he said and did was reverse psychology, hoping that the system wouldn't ban the Dynasty Era, and actually hand it over to him.

He even threw away any pride and dignity to act like he wanted Interstellar Era!

However, the truth was that the Interstellar Era was his least favorite. Not only were the people in that era completely unreasonable, but they would outright grab their guns and shoot at you without hesitation.

Alas, nothing could be done as Xu Feng found himself being transported. His eyes blurred into a mont of darkness. By the ti he reopened them, he was greeted with an unfamiliar ceiling, his body lying on a sowhat comfortable bed.

Despite this, his attention was focused on the System Prompt.

System: The second phase of Origin Trial begins now! You have been assigned a new identity: Cleric Trainee of Battleship Lux, Michael.

Note: Ti flows differently between the Interstellar Era and Divine World.

Ti Ratio: 1 Month (Interstellar Era) = 1 Day (Divine World).

Objective:

Ensure that Battleship Lux maintains its position at the top of the rankings.

Limit crew casualties to less than 20%.

Don't Die.

Looking at the objectives and how his outfit had been changed to fit the the of interstellar, Xu Feng sighed softly.

Others might be sulking at how they failed miserably, but Xu Feng was pondering over how to deal with the current situation. Sulking ain't going to help improve the situation after all.

As he hopped out of bed, the first thing he checked was his inventory and skills.

"Wow, they don't call it an Origin Trial for no reason." He chuckled, having realized all the skills were grayed out, followed by his inventory being mostly disabled. The only good thing was that the preparation he made in advance ca in handy, especially how the Frost Grenades, Smoke Grenades, and Phantom Grappling Hook could still be used.

The Phantom Grappling Hook was especially useful in this interstellar because it had a unique effect, allowing the user to be immune to any damage for 10 seconds once a hook was latched, with a cooldown of 5 minutes.
