Having been ordered by lvin to leak false information, Otis swiftly returned to Willowbrook Village and searched for Xu Feng.

'Hmm, where did he go?' Otis wondered silently. Just when he thought about walking deeper into the inner village to look for him, his shoulder suddenly received a pat.

Alard and alerted, Otis' first instinct was to swing his arm, ready to retaliate and go for a killing blow.

However, his swinging t with a transparent barrier, followed by a voice that nearly spooked the hell out of him.

"Woah there villager. I know you might have been tense from the situation lately, but there's no need for such a reaction, right?" Xu Feng exclaid in an amused tone.

Realizing what he had just done, Otis' mind raced as he quickly adapted to the situation.

"S-Sorry, but it's hard to not be vigilant these days." Otis smiled bitterly and played the victim card. "A close neighbor of mine was attacked and nearly lost his life. It was very scary and disheartening how our peaceful village is now being disturbed."

"I get it, but you can relax. Within the village itself, those outsiders can't do anything." Xu Feng smiled and continued, "Those outsiders don't dare nor are they capable of doing anything against the guards. Hence, they could only live outside and be the sewer rats they are."

Infuriated by the remark, Otis kept his calm on the surface while nodding in agreent. "Yeah, they really need to back off."

"Agreed, those damn sewer rats should just rot in the sewage and disappear on the face of the earth. Instead, they kept trying to struggle and causing havoc in a peaceful village."

Still managing a smile, Otis nodded. "By the way, I've just co back from the west side of the outskirts because I needed to gather herbs and I found this."

He then retrieved a few pieces of clothes and handed them to Xu Feng. "I've heard from the others you were investigating on the matter so I hope this helps.

Accepting the few pieces of clothes that clearly resembled the outfit of the insurgents, Xu Feng gracefully thanked Otis. "Thank you, and what's your na? If this leads to anything, then the villagers need to honor you."

"Oh no, I don't need any of those honors." Otis hurriedly shook his head. "If you really want to thank , then please help return this village to the state it was."

After he said his words, Otis quickly turned around and walked away, seemingly afraid to converse further with him.

Watching his back walking further and further away, Xu Feng was amused silently. 'Hoh, to think this person can still keep his cool. That's so good tolerance he got.'

From the start, Xu Feng already knew this particular villager was disguised and a part of the insurgent.

"Well done, Flint." Xu Feng praised his pet, who easily sniffed out the disguised villagers. Previously, Flint had already warned him beforehand that there were so disguised villagers inside, but he refrained from acting so.

Firstly, there were quite a few disguised villagers, so making a move would only alert the others, resulting in more work to do. He wanted to catch them in one fell swoop.

Additionally, if he made a move within the village, innocent villagers would be hard and by then, he could kiss his amazing rewards goodbye.

And he definitely does not want to go bye bye bye with his rewards!

"Flint, have you confird that person's sll?" Xu Feng asked Flint, who appeared in a cheerful manner. Though Flint's appearance was invisible to others, having eaten a candy given from Xu Feng.

The candy was called Karma Invisible Candy, exclusively used for pets which the pet owner could purchase and ensure their pets would remain invisible for 30 minutes.

Of course, the invisibility would be removed the mont the pet made an offensive move. Otherwise, it would have been too broken and the whole fighting system would collapse.

Soti later, Xu Feng pretended to have found a trace and was going to use the piece of clothes to guide him.

"Is he still looking, Flint?" He whispered softly to Flint, who had been surveilling the surroundings.

Flint chirped solemnly, having detected Otis was still nearby.

"Flint, can you detect the others with similar slls like him or not?" He then inquired further, wanting to test the limit of Flint. And to his surprise, Flint chirped rrily, indicating that he could totally sense them.

Satisfied and amazed by Flint's capability, Xu Feng realized he needed to thank Earthrender for such a gift. 'I'll need to send so stuff to Paradise Plains and have Elder Yaren be the delivery person for .'

Naturally, Yaren would easily flip off and throw them out if they dared to use her as a delivery person, but there was always an exception. Since the stuff he sent to her was ant for Earthrender, she couldn't possibly deny the request.

"Okay, let's get to work." Shaking his head, Xu Feng stopped going off-track and resud his task: by pretending to be swindled and fooled by Otis' sche.

To start it off, Xu Feng began confidently walking to the guards and whispered sothing to them with a grin hanging on his face.

And although Otis could not hear what was said from afar, he did witness Xu Feng taking out the pieces of clothes and patting his chest.

Following that, the guards seemingly nodded in full approval and called for his fellow guards to gear up.

'Hehe, success. As expected of lvin. He never disappoints in his plan.' Otis smirked coldly as he watched Xu Feng and the guards begin leaving for the exit gate.

He wanted to follow closely but was afraid of being caught, so he could only remain hidden until Xu Feng and the guards were no longer present.

A few minutes later, Otis exited the village without any suspicion and checked around the periter. Once he confird the guards weren't present anymore, Otis couldn't wait to deliver this news back to lvin.
