Although Xu Feng did think about giving the work to Carn, he quickly discarded the idea.
'Carn shouldn't be restricted to the guild's managent work.' He was sure she would do it if he asked, but that was not sothing he wished to do.
"Okay, tell them that the auction is being delayed because there are more valuable items incoming." Xu Feng told Zhao Kai.
"More valuable items?" Frowning, Zhao Kai scratched his head and asked, "Are you planning on selling so of the boss drop loot?"
"That's indeed my plan." Nodding, he didn't plan on concealing the truth from Zhao Kai.
However, Zhao Kai was less than pleased and argued. "Why? You don't have to do any of that if you want to compensate the others. They can just wait if they want or scram if they don't want to."
Because no one had actually seen the boss drop loot, Zhao Kai believed taking them out was a ridiculous move.
Additionally, a boss on the Golem Sentinel caliber should be extrely good. He might not have had the chance to inspect them personally, but Zhao Kai knew the loot must have been of significance for Xu Feng and the guild.
Thus, he didn't care what it would be used for until now.

"Have you not noticed the undercurrent and predicant the Vanguard Guild is currently facing?" Xu Feng didn't react much to his argunt and instead asked if he knew what was actually going on.
The storm was brewing, and it would hit the Vanguard Guild very soon.
"Are you implying that the Lethal Corp and Reaver Guild would team up?" Zhao Kai asked in a worried tone. Since there hadn't been any movent from those two after a long ti, he thought the matter was over.
After all, they couldn't possibly waste all their resources on a start-up guild and ignore their own developnt.
However, to his astonishnt, Xu Feng shook his head.
"No, those two are still trying to recuperate their losses and can't afford to ss with us. The ones I'm talking about are those close to Star Falls City. Guilds such as Heaven's Destiny and MIST." He said solemnly, knowing that they had probably run out of patience.
These two guilds were first-rate, eagerly waiting for a chance to promote themselves as Super Guild.
And what better promotion was there than to uproot a start-up guild that was capable of making Lethal Corp incur losses?
To put the cherry on the toppings, both these guilds were located in Greendale and Skyland City respectively. Now that Star Falls City had regained its popularity, the significance of it was self explanatory.
From a large perspective, Star Falls City was in the middle between Greendale and Skyland City. Hence, whoever conquered and made the Star Falls City their territory, could be said to have attained a greater chance to promote.
"Previously I can send off the enemies without much regard because they don't base their city around or close to Star Falls City. But these two hungry guilds do not have such problems." Xu Feng revealed, letting Zhao Kai know bits of how perilous their situation was despite the glory.
"Damn it. Should I return from Evershade City and return to Star Falls City then?" Zhao Kai suggested, unwilling to let Xu Feng's hard work crumble in place because of so damnable people.
"No, you must stay in Evershade City and develop in secret. That place is extrely vital for us." Xu Feng said solemnly.
"You don't need to worry much because I went back to town to grab so gears to deflect them. Numbers advantage? I wonder if that's really useful." He continued with a cold smirk. They had clashed with many guilds already, but apparently, so guilds just loved to court death and be blinded by greed.
Yes, a storm was currently brewing, but what they failed to know was that a storm could be rather unpredictable as well.
It might look like a storm was going in a certain direction, but for so unforeseeable variables, the storm could also be altered midway and might even return to its original point.
Although he was not a god, Xu Feng could certainly manipulate so events to have the storm change its direction.

As Zhao Kai left the room, Allison arrived a few minutes later, giving him zero chance of resting.
She entered the room, took a seat, and exclaid, "Feng, I've spoken with the doctors and they say you can be discharged today. You're always sulking about the Divine World's matter, so even the doctors relented."
