After hearing Xu Feng's reasoning, Allison went into deep thought.

It wasn't because she was astounded by his reason, but rather she understood his implication and aning.

As a professor, she had naturally taught many outstanding students with great academic achievent. Yet not many of them actually did sothing good to return back to society and instead beca quite egoistic.

Of course, they remained respectful when interacting with her, but for other strangers, especially those in the lower bracket, they treated them as no different than ants.

So what if one had great academic achievent?

If one didn't even know how to behave with basic decency, what was the point of being brilliant at all?

Allison sighed, her thoughts drifting back to those students, talented yet often oblivious to the weight of true respect. Perhaps that was why Xu Feng's perspective resonated with her.

'Who would have thought a young man like him could have such insight?' Allison was stunned and startled at Xu Feng's thinking.

This wasn't simply about knowledge or success; it was about integrity and using one's skills with humility. She realized that Xu Feng valued not only talent but also character— a quality not asured by titles, degrees, or achievents.

"Is this your second lesson for ?" She smiled bitterly and asked. In the first lesson, Xu Feng taught her about fairness, and this second lesson was about character.

"Indeed, I'm glad you caught up so quickly. Save

the trouble to explain." Chuckling, Xu Feng clasped his hands in approval. "You must always rember that fairness isn't about equality, so character must also be properly distinguished. You must identify the situation and what fairness was being conducted before determining the character."

"Can you explain it in more human language?" This ti, Allison was struck with a dilemma, unable to comprehend his aning. Maybe it was because she had rarely been exposed to such "fairness" and "character" that she failed to understand right away.

Realizing his explanation might be a bit too complicated for her to comprehend, Xu Feng adjusted his glasses.

"Take Lightning Blade for example. His character wasn't bad, being willing to admit his mistake and accept responsibility, but that doesn't an he is good either." He said, using the latter as a sample.

"His failure to oversee his cousin and allowing him to run amok ant that he was too kind in his character. Had he been a bit more strict and cold, would Thunder Sword have the nerve to use the Vanguard Guild na to bully others?"

Allison shook her head in response. She got the gist of the situation now and finally realized why Xu Feng reacted in such a manner.

'He feels more like a professor than .' Feeling quite ashad of herself, Allison wondered if her principles and teaching had been wrong her entire life.

While Allison had her head lowered, seemingly in deep thought, Xu Feng decided to give her a few minutes to brood it over.

'These two lessons should be enough for now.' He thought, not trying to overwhelm her all at once.

To change one person's mindset, one must be patient and take things carefully. Too quick, and their brain might short-circuit. Too slow, and their brain might not be able to comprehend the implications.

It had to be done at a moderate speed while letting them experience it themselves to see what it was like.

Thankfully, Thunder Sword and Lightning Blade ca in at a great ti for him to use them as examples. Additionally, he could also use this opportunity to cleanse so of the rotten apples in his guild.

The reason he had yet to expand larger for his guild was that too many people would result in too many uncertainties.

But after today's incident, those who are still willing to join should already have a mindset imprinted in what they could and could not do.

Not to ntion, he had effectively steered his guild far away from nefarious rumors that his guild was the sa as Reaver Guild in terms of conduct and behavior.

Who would still dare to clamor that his Vanguard Guild was bullying others?

The mont they said that, people would instantly paste this news to their faces, and ask if their eyes were okay.

"Anyway, have you finished pondering?" Xu Feng broke the silence and asked. "Clara is probably searching for us by now, so let's not delay any further.

Snapping out of her thought process, Allison rembered about Clara.

Nevertheless, she was still a bit concerned about Lightning Blade's fate. "Wait, are you going to keep having that Lightning Blade kneel and bow with his forehead?"

"Depends on my mood."

"Aren't you quite heartless then?"

And before Xu Feng could respond, she warned sternly, "You ntioned fairness and character but with a limit. Right now, you are about to cross that limitation and go into the danger zone."

Hearing that, Xu Feng rely smiled without giving her a proper response. Instead, he opened the door and exited the room.

"..."

'Did he understand what I'm trying to imply?' Allison pursed her lips and sighed inwardly.

Soti later, she headed downstairs and heard Xu Feng's declaration.

"Lightning Blade, you are quite lucky that my companion pleaded for your case and that we need a DPS class for our upcoming quest. Are you willing to assist us and hope to regain your rit?"

"Yes, I'm willing." Lightning Blade imdiately agreed to the suggestion, feeling grateful. Others might not understand why he was so desperate to remain in the Vanguard Guild, but only those who had experienced what it was like to beco an official mber would start to understand him.

Not to ntion this kind of kneeling, even more outrageous and ridiculous stuff could be done so long as he could escape this plight.

Right after Lightning Blade had a chance to make ands, Clara also arrived at this mont.

Her unannounced presence nearly scared the crap out of many male players who had been on the receiving end of her attack. Unconsciously, they all got off their seats and hid under the table, afraid of even being seen by her.

"Is this really the Divine World experience?" Watching everything unfold, Allison felt her brain being short-circuit.
