It wasn't because she was astounded by his reason, but rather she understood his implication and aning.

While Allison had her head lowered, seemingly in deep thought, Xu Feng decided to give her a few minutes to brood it over.
'These two lessons should be enough for now.' He thought, not trying to overwhelm her all at once.
To change one person's mindset, one must be patient and take things carefully. Too quick, and their brain might short-circuit. Too slow, and their brain might not be able to comprehend the implications.
