Having heard Xu Feng's monologue and explanation, Clara took at least 5 minutes to ponder silently.
Although it was just a simple explanation, it wasn't simple anymore when it ca from her savior's mouth.
After all, in terms of therapy, nothing was more effective to a patient than having them talk with their savior— aka the person they could trust.
Think of it as a firefighter rescuing a little girl in the sea of flas. By the ti the little girl regained her consciousness, the first person they would trust was not their parents, but rather the firefighter who rescued them from danger.
This was a common outco, considering the little girl had developed a reliance on the firefighter, only believing them to be capable of protecting her from danger.
And right now, Xu Feng was acting as the firefighter whereas Clara was the little girl, who simply needed his protection.
A few minutes passed by, and Clara slightly smiled in response. "It would be my honor to join you, Wind."
"Great, the honor's mine to be able to have a tag team with a Tier 2 fighter." Xu Feng teased, trying to uplift her emotion.
With that being said, Clara soon requested Xu Feng to wait for her at the lobby as she needed to hand over the managent to soone else, as well as prepare for her battle gear.
Given that Clara was now an official employee of the Town Hall, everything needed to be done in procedure, so she couldn't just leave whenever she wanted to.
Naturally, Xu Feng gladly complied and started returning to the lobby.
Upon heading downstairs, Xu Feng noticed quite a few male players had flocked to Allison.
'As expected of her.' Not a bit surprised, Xu Feng didn't expect Allison to not even alter her facial appearance whatsoever.
Thus, with her graceful and beautiful looks, the horny n would naturally try to get close to her. Those who refuse to are either immune to such beautiful won or they are gay in general.
Naturally, Xu Feng was the forr, considering he had t many beautiful won in his past tiline.
"Hi, you must be a new player, right. You should team up with
and I'll guarantee you can level up to qualify to be in a city in no ti." One of the male players tested their luck and exclaid.
However, almost imdiately, they were debunked by another male player.
This ti, it was even more outrageous as they brought up a familiar guild na.
"Don't team with him. My cousin happened to be a part of the Vanguard Guild— you know that famous upstart guild? Once I reach the necessary level to get to the city, I will also be able to join that guild. Teaming up with
is way better than the others."
The mont this particular male player brought up the Vanguard Guild na and his connection with it, the others beca wary.
After all, who didn't know Riverwood Town was the origin of the current Vanguard Guild Leader, Lin Feng?
"Oh and who might that cousin be?" Amidst the silence, Xu Feng suddenly chid in and asked tauntingly.

"Could your cousin possibly be able to influence and mobilize the Vanguard Guild itself? Why should this pretty woman team up with you instead?" He continued, provoking the latter on purpose to figure so things out.
"Hmph, and who might you be?" The male player held a disdainful expression. "I'm Thunder Sword, and my cousin is Lightning Blade. You've heard of that? Well, I doubt a small potato like you know. Lightning Blade is one of the players who completed the large-scale raid dungeon by the one and only Vanguard Guild."
Almost imdiately, Allison giggled in response and glanced at Xu Feng.
"Are you afraid of this Thunder Sword now?" She teased, almost as if she wanted to see how he would react. Although there was no data on Cool Wind within the public, she got the gist that he had to be soone of importance in the guild.
Sure enough, when Xu Feng heard the ntion of Lightning Blade, he feigned a surprise look.
"Lightning Blade? Are you really the cousin of Vanguard Guild Lightning Blade?" Xu Feng's eyes widened. "But I thought the Vanguard Guild is different and isn't oppressive or bullying like the other guilds."
"Hmph, that's just what you people think." Thunder Sword snorted coldly. "Don't you know Riverwood Town is the territory of the Vanguard Guild. And I'm soone who's connected to them, so how can a newbie like you dare to talk down on !"
Startled and frightened, Xu Feng retreated a few steps. He then asked, "D-Does your cousin know you're using his na and the guild to bully others? We're all new players here, so why are you threatening
with the Vanguard Guild."
Sneering, Thunder Sword felt gleeful after witnessing Xu Feng breaking down in nervousness. "It doesn't matter if my cousin knows it or not. As long as I say I'm bullied by you who sar the honor of the Vanguard Guild, you'll be dood. Even the Super Guild Lethal Corp lost badly against us."
Thunder Sword thought it was finally his ti to bask in so of the glory and honor, but never did he expect that his threat would beco ineffective instantaneously.
"So Lightning Blade doesn't know you are using his na to bully others." Xu Feng smiled lightly and calmly took a seat next to Allison.
"Your power of attracting trouble is really impeccable." He comnted.
"Why? I was just minding my own business." Allison shrugged. "They just ca to
and asked if I wanted to team up with them."
"Did you not tell them that you're occupied already?"
"I did, but they didn't care."
As their conversation continued on, Thunder Sword, who thought the person would start crawling and kneeling for forgiveness after learning of his identity, beca dumbfounded.
'The hell?' Thunder Sword felt his blood boiling as his eyes flared up in fury.
"You damn newbie! How dare you ignore
and disrespect the Vanguard Guild!" He roared loudly in anger, ensuring many players in the Town Hall Lobby heard him.
