Shortly after getting sidelined by Carn for his lack of effort clarification, Xu Feng stopped brooding over the matter.

He wasn’t the type to care much about his wording if it wasn’t for his guild’s lack of trusted mbers. Within the guild, there were only two people he trusted: Zhao Kai and Carn.

As for the other mbers, they were working for him on his command, and they did a fantastic job eliminating the saboteurs. But other than that, Xu Feng simply rewarded them with so Raid Points and Guild rit Points.

Trust was not sothing you could get in an instant, albeit with so exceptions such as Carn.

And as for Ning Yi, who was still busy acting confidently like an expert to gain so valuable points from Catherine, he could only smile helplessly.

’Other Gunners were firing their guns without much delay, but this Yi is doing his best to flirt rather than fire his gun at the enemy.’ Xu Feng facepald at their sight, not even bothering to command him to focus on the boss.

Regardless if he tried to fight or not, Ning Yi’s accuracy was abysmally low anyway— at 10%.

Still, that was already considered good in Xu Feng’s book, given that Ning Yi was only 5% prior to the special training he had assigned for him. Stay tuned to Freewebnovel

It wasn’t just Xu Feng who noticed Ning Yi slacking, but the other mbers such as Lightning Blade, Skyfire Mist, and FreeLancer noticed the situation as well.

"Is the Stylish Shooter a friend of the Raid Leader in real life?" FreeLancer asked in confusion, his mouth left agape.

Skyfire Mist knitted his brows and frowned at Ning Yi’s pestering the female Assassin from assisting the raid.

"Crystal can’t assist because of Stylish Shooter, but she didn’t seem to be furious either. They also don’t look like a couple either." He scratched his head, wanting to intervene but unsure if it was the correct move.

Finally, he turned to his friend, Lighting Blade, and asked him for suggestions.

"Should we ignore Crystal or intervene to help, Lightning Blade?"

Lightning Blade didn’t respond right away, and instead focused on Xu Feng’s action. Precisely at this mont, he saw Xu Feng glancing at Ning Yi briefly before shaking his head and ignoring the latter.

’Holy… so he really got so connection.’ Lightning Blade quickly ca to a realization that Ning Yi held a special status. Otherwise, there was no way his Raid Leader would ignore this blatant action from Ning Yi.

Although his conclusion wasn’t completely right, it wasn’t entirely wrong either, considering that Ning Yi was the one coughing up a lot of his money to help build an office for the Vanguard Guild.

"Just ignore it and continue our duty." Lightning Blade took a deep breath and explained. "If the Raid Leader wants to punish Stylish Shooter later, then he will do it. There’s no need for us to intervene and we should just do our duty."

Finding his suggestion reasonable, FreeLancer nodded in agreent. "Indeed, if we do well, then we can gain more GMP."

"You’re right. The others want to farm for RP, but we want GMP to promote." Skyfire Mist exclaid, wanting to quickly rank up in the guild and enjoy the guild’s benefits.

The trio were currently Junior mber Rank, but they wanted to be promoted to the mber Rank, which could be considered an official mber of the Vanguard Guild.

Recruit and Junior mber Rank barely get much benefits from the guild.

Amidst their conversation, they suddenly heard a voice, which nearly caused all of them to piss their pants off. "Are the three of you done chattering or are you going to assist in the raid?"

The trio swallowed a mouthful of saliva nervously before turning around, only to see a mask-figured standing in front of them.

"R-Raid Leader…" The trio shivered uncontrollably, especially when they heard the solemn tone. Additionally, nothing was more terrifying than seeing their mask Raid Leader directly in front of them with a cold aura.

Not even the Golem Sentinel could frighten them that much. At worst, they would just get wiped out by the Golem Sentinel and be sent out of the dungeon.

But what about their Raid Leader?

Unless they wished to quit the Vanguard Guild, they would never be able to escape from him.

"Why are you still standing there like a dork?" Xu Feng questioned solemnly.

"The two of you are Tanks, so quickly hop down and assist the Clerics that are trying to revive the deceased Tanks." He added, pointing at Skyfire Mist and FreeLancer respectively.

"Yes, Raid Leader!" The two of them shouted in unison before dashing off to assist the Clerics.

anwhile, Lightning Blade felt suffocated from being left alone. He also hated that he had chosen the Swordsman Class and not a Tank to escape from his current plight.

’Damn it. I’m not going to get demoted or mistaken for slacking off right?’ Lightning Blade was feeling extrely anxious deep inside, but kept a calm expression on the surface.

Alas, his attempt to try was quite ridiculous to the veteran Xu Feng, who had learned to regulate his emotion and expression on the surface.

To be fair, he didn’t really care what the trio were doing, given that he was just waiting for the Sentinel to begin his second phase, Molten Core Eruption.

It was just that after his conversation with Carn, he began to wonder how the other mbers perceived him. And sure enough, Carn was right on the mark, considering how frightened Lightning Blade was when he rely asked a simple question.

"You’re free to damage the other Elite Enemies or just idle around here to recover your stamina." Xu Feng coolly said before turning around and returning to his position.

He couldn’t afford to idle too much from the boss fight, given he needed to know when the next phase was starting.

anwhile, Lightning Blade remained still, almost as if he was perplexed and baffled about how he survived the interaction.

"I-I actually wasn’t punished?" Lightning Blade’s mouth was agape as he wondered if heaven had blessed him just now.
