Thanks to Xu Feng's tily calm warning and almost serene tone in relaxing their anxiousness, the rest gradually regained their composure.

Once they did, so began to take a closer look at the Cursed Gargoyles that surrounded them. They were winged stone creatures with a few twisted features, perched on a small podium.

From a glance, it appeared as if these stones were decoration.

"Don't look too closely at their eyes." Xu Feng suddenly warned and covered Veronica's eyes.

"Their glowing eyes are considered scanners, so if you stare at it for too long, it will be activated as well." He explained lightly.

With that realization, the others who had been staring for a while quickly lowered their head or tilted them to the side, afraid of being the person triggering it.

"How do we proceed from here, Raid Leader?" Carn furrowed her brows and asked softly.

The difficulty of this section was without a doubt a test of their coordination in a limited space.

Just one careless mistake from a mber would result in the activation of another Cursed Gargoyles.

By then, the fight difficulty would increase, and if more were to misstep or blast to another activation spot of a Gargoyles, one could easily imagine the horror.

These Cursed Gargoyles were unlike the Obsidian Sludges who could only move very slowly. Not only did the Gargoyles have wings, but their attributes were also quite high.

"Why don't we stare at one to trigger the activation and have them co toward us?" Veronica suddenly suggested, recalling Xu Feng's warning from earlier.

Aside from stepping into their range of activation, they could also activate it by staring intently at their glowing red eyes. So in theory, they could just remain safe and sound near the wind current to trigger them one at a ti.

anwhile, Xu Feng clapped his hands.

"Good thinking, Vortex Viper." He praised her. "Usually, people would just think about brute forcing it and try their best to micromanage their movent. But such action is inefficient and extrely high risk."

"Hehe, it's just a thought." Veronica scratched her head and smiled sheepishly.

"You're improving fast." Carn complinted her as well.

Even she had overlooked such an obvious point, missing the hints Xu Feng had subtly dropped from the very beginning.

"Damn it, so it was just that easy." Zhao Kai clicked his tongue and wondered how he failed to comprehend sothing so easy.

"Mhmm, sotis, the solution is very straightforward but people tend to overthink and over complicate them." Xu Feng chuckled softly, not faulting anyone for missing the crucial point.

When coming up with a strategy to tackle the unknown, people would ponder extrely hard.

It was a similar situation to chess where the players thought too much, only to end up blundering. And then when they reviewed the ga once it was over, they would then question themselves at how such an easy move could be missed.

"To simplify and how to improve your problem-solving skills. You must always return to your roots, aning stop overthinking too much and just go for it. Of course, that doesn't an you shouldn't think at all, but rather keep it in a moderate sense." Xu Feng continued before organizing and rearranging their position.

Since the enemy this ti was an aerial type, the formation needed to be changed to ensure the Gargoyle could not ascend to the sky and find an opening to their DPS.

"Wait, aren't you making yourself vulnerable by being at the front with the tanks?" Zhao Kai was alard when he saw Xu Feng assuming a position ant for the tank. "I won't be able to react in ti with you in the front."

"Relax, I didn't plan on having you defend

either." Xu Feng mused and turned to Iceheart. "Don't you have a powerful Earthshatter Cleave skill? How confident are you in your accuracy and reaction ti?"

"What do you want?" Iceheart rolled her eyes, not even bothering to answer such a ridiculous question. If she was truly that trash in terms of skills, then her guild leader wouldn't have even sent her to this raid in the first place.

They might have wanted to investigate the Vanguard Guild, but there was no chance in hell they would embarrass their Phoenix Guild in the anti.

Chuckling, Xu Feng calmly said, "In a second, I'm going to use myself as bait to gather the aggro. When the Gargoyle cos flying straight at , I want you to smack it down on the ground and immobilize it."

"That's it?" Iceheart raised an eyebrow, seemingly doubtful of such a simple yet risky plan. After all, the whole thing relied on her ability to successfully immobilize it before it got a chance to kill Xu Feng.

"Yup, that's it. If you can actually show

the real elite combat, then I will command what to do next. And if you fail like a bumpkin, then we all know who to not rely on anymore moving forward." Xu Feng shrugged.

"Hmph, only you will fail like a bumpkin."

"Then let's begin."

Having said that, Xu Feng quickly locked eyes with one of the Stone Gargoyles.

A few minutes later, the Stone Gargoyle started moving as its wings slowly extended outward.

Soon, it screeched loudly and flapped its stone wings, instantly soaring to the sky. Amidst its airborne-like state, Xu Feng hurriedly buffed his team, indirectly informing the Gargoyle who the major support was.

Not to ntion, the one who had triggered its activation was none other than him.

Enraged, the Gargoyle's eyes flared up as it positioned itself to take a straight dive at Xu Feng's position.

And with just a few flaps of its wings, the Gargoyle's speed increased twice fold. The distance between them was closed almost in the blink of an eye.

As the Gargoyle's speed accelerated without any sign of warning, Xu Feng remained steady and calm.

"Co at , you little cute stone creature!" He taunted, gesturing with a beckoning hand, his movents deliberately provocative to ensure the Gargoyle's full attention was locked onto him.
