When Emberwolf suddenly launched a surprise attack, he thought victory was his. Yet there was a sense of sothing being abnormal, considering Xu Feng didn't even flinch a bit despite the close proximity.
'Hmph, he's just putting up a brave front. How idiotic of him to reveal that he's all alone!' Eberwolf quickly shook off his thought and swung his sword at a horizontal angle.
"Die!" He laughed coldly, expecting to deal a ton of damage to Xu Feng.
The reason why Clerics were always known to be protected and stay in the back was due to their low defense and health. Just a few attacks and they would be killed already.
It was not a stereotype but a truth that had been established since the creation of the healer class.
However, in this particular mont, Emberwolf began to question whether any logical sense could be applied to Xu Feng.
His sword should have sliced Xu Feng's body like butter, but instead of that, he felt as if he had swung his sword into a tough concrete material.
"H-How is your barrier so strong?" Emberwolf's hand trembled heavily as he felt numb from the collision.
He wasn't dense enough to not recognize Xu Feng was protected by a barrier, but what kind of barrier could stand against one of his strongest sword skills?
"Are you sure now's the ti to worry about my barrier being strong?" Amused, Xu Feng didn't even move as Emberwolf was suddenly sent flying, his health decreased by a whopping 20%.
As he crashed into the ground after being airborne for a while, dust piled up near his body, and he lost an additional 10% health points from the impact.
Had they not been in the Divine World, then this one impact would have caused Emberwolf to cough up a mouthful of blood.
Emberwolf gradually got up, his legs shaking still from the impact. "Didn't you say you're alone and no other people are here? How did you deflect my attack and even deal such high damage to !"
"You are a liar, Guild Leader Lin Feng!" Hunter Rick chid in and cursed Xu Feng for playing dirty.
"I didn't lie." Still calm and composed, Xu Feng shrugged in response. "I said there's no people around, but I never said anything about my pet."
"A pet?" Startled, Emberwolf was initially confused until he noticed sothing in the ground near Xu Feng's. "What is that?"
His question would soon be answered as Flint, the Mini Earthrender that Xu Feng had been placing at the Pet Space, erged from the ground.
It had used one of his skills, Burrow, to hide in the ground and deal a burst of energy upon its re-ergence. Additionally, Flint used Stone Shield to protect Xu Feng from the sudden attack by Emberwolf.
With Flint's appearance as he began hovering next to Xu Feng, its eyes glared furiously at Emberwolf. Since Flint had always treated Xu Feng as his master, Emberwolf's action was equivalent to provoking him to the max.
Flint growled ferociously and seed ready to exterminate these groups of people.
Soon, Emberwolf and his companions were hit with a status ailnt. Due to the nacing growl, they were hit with fear and immobilized for 30 seconds.
"Don't worry, you all won't die that easily." Xu Feng lightly chuckled when he saw his saboteurs sweating nervously.
"There's a revival limit of 10 and as a Cleric, I will gladly do my best to ensure your survival. Though I do wonder… just how many wonderful items are you hiding in your inventory?" He continued, and gestured his hand, signaling for Flint to go ahead.
"Wait, let
tell you sothing." Emberwolf hurriedly shouted. His body might be immovable, but his mouth could still talk.
"L-Let
tell you sothing, Guild Leader Lin Feng." Despite his pleas, his eyes widened in horror when Flint began flying toward them. Flint's size might not be large, but even they knew just how powerful this creature was.

"I'll listen when I am in the mood." Xu Feng yawned as he casually watched Flint easily deal with them all.
Who was Flint?
Flint might not be that high-level, but it was a bona fide Legendary rarity. If a Legendary rarity can't even deal with so pests like Emberwolf, then the System might as well go to hell for its ridiculous judgnt.
Shortly after Flint massacred the group, Xu Feng eagerly waited for the items to be dropped. Since they weren't killed by the monsters in the dungeon, but rather through player-kill, they would naturally drop items.
After all, Flint was considered a pet for Xu Feng, so in a sense, Flint's strength was part of his as well.
Browsing through the dropped items, Xu Feng lanted softly.
"What a bunch of poor bumpkins. I expect better loot." He pursed his lips while smoothly storing all the items in his inventory anyway.
"Also, Flint, don't kill them too fast. My revive has a long cooldown, so make sure to take a while. You can use them as practice tools to familiarize yourself with your skills, okay?" He turned to Flint and instructed.
"Chirp~" Flint chirped happily and rubbed its small head around Xu Feng's cheek despite his mask blocking its way.
A second later, Xu Feng gently pushed him away and warned, "Okay, don't act cute. Just be normal."
A bit saddened, Flint could only accept its master's command.
Ignoring Flint's depressed manner, Xu Feng calmly cast his revive spell on Emberwolf's corpse.
Upon his revival, Emberwolf's face turned pale as he took a quick scan of his inventory.
"Noooooo, not my precious items! What the hell is this nonsense? One death and I lose my precious item." He cried in pain at the loss of his items through RNG (Random Number Generator).
"Ah, so was that what you wanted to tell
earlier?"
Amidst his sullen mood, Emberwolf heard a voice, and to his horror, he saw the sa nightmare mask in front of him.
However, what truly caused him to be petrified was the little pet hovering next to the mask.
"If I said yes, would you return those dropped items?" Emberwolf swallowed a mouthful of saliva and asked, disregarding any sha left on him.
