Initially, the commander was about to detain Xu Feng for his nonsense, but as soon as the Aether Compass was revealed, astonishnt appeared on his face.

Thus, he could naturally identify the compass in Xu Feng's hand.

'E-Elder Yaren succeeded in recovering the lost item.' The commander was shocked internally. And based on Yaren's capability, if she hadn't given permission to the youngster in front of him, then there was no way the youngster would still be alive.

The commander's subordinates were initially startled by the swift change of atmosphere, but when they saw their commander's face turned ashen white. They ca to realize this case didn't seem so simple on the surface.

Sure enough, when the commander returned to them, he declared, "This person committed treason and shall not be resurrected."

Once the declaration was made, the commander commanded his guards to retreat and return to patrolling.
