With Earthrender canceling the realm for Carn and Crimson Heart, it beca evident that it was no longer pleased to continue the illusion any further.
After all, its plan to watch Xu Feng get thrashed had turned into nothing but a joke.
Rather than beating him up for so venting, the two won were respectively taking advantage of it.
Carn might have been thrashing the fake out of anger because it did not match the real, but she was still improving her combat experience. As for Crimson Heart, she was more damnable, treating his illusion as nothing but a dummy test.
The illusion he created was ant to cloud the people's judgnt and deceive them.
It was supposed to be a deadly test where they would begin to question reality.
"You better not speak of this matter." Earthrender glared at Xu Feng, warning him of the consequences.
"Relax, I still treasure my life even if I can't really die." Xu Feng reassured him. After all, he still wanted to beco the successor, so to irritate him for a trivial matter like this was not worth the result.
Suddenly, Xu Feng sensed danger and reacted instinctively. He quickly activated Phantom Step and escaped from his initial position.
Shortly after his escape, Crimson Heart appeared from behind and swung her dagger at the empty space.
"Huh, this fake beca quite skillful?" Alard, Crimson Heart turned her attention to Xu Feng who had retreated a few steps from his position.
"Wait a minute, I'm not—"
Before Xu Feng could even explain he was the real one, Carn had already summoned her Elentalist and used it as a dium to launch nurous spells at him.
"Eat my spells, you damn fake!" Carn exclaid, not holding anything back in launching her strongest spells.
"Earthrender, quickly do sothing." Xu Feng hurriedly shouted at Earthrender. Even he would be in a predicant to receive a surprise attack like this.
Not to ntion, he didn't have many guards against these two, given they normally wouldn't even think of attacking him.
Well, at least he wasn't guarded against Carn compared to Crimson Heart. Thus, he was able to swiftly escape Crimson Heart's attack but failed to acknowledge Carn's aggression.
"Hmph, what an annoying Cleric," Earthrender snorted, his nostrils flaring with a burst of hot air that sent tiny pebbles skittering across the ground.
Despite its irritation, Earthrender swiftly shifted its stance, focusing its energy. The air around him shimred as if heated, and the jagged rocks along his body began to pulse with a deep, rhythmic glow.
A low hum filled the air, and the ground beneath rumbled softly as Earthrender manipulated the mana around him.
With a flick of his claw, he conjured a dense, swirling barrier of earthen mana that seed to absorb the surrounding energy. The barrier was like a veil of molten rock, glowing with cracks of fiery light, twisting and warping the space around it.
As the barrage of spells from Carn hurtled toward Xu Feng, the mana shield responded instantly, bending and rippling to deflect each attack. The spells splashed against the barrier like water against stone, fizzling out on contact.
After blocking the spells for Xu Feng, Earthrender vanished from its position, reappearing in front of Carn the next mont.
Alard, Carn was about to wave her staff and swing it at Earthrender, perceiving the latter as an enemy,
However, Earthrender easily swung its tail and staggered Carn a little bit.
"At ease, lady." Earthrender calmly spoke.
"This is no longer an illusion but reality." He explained.
"Impossible." Refusing to believe his words, Carn continued, "I rembered the Guild Leader suddenly ntioned he had sothing urgent to do and suicide to leave the place. It was still vividly displayed in my mind."
"Does it look like I'm the type to suicide?" Xu Feng suddenly exclaid and sent her a private ssage through the system.
As soon as the ssage was sent, Carn received the ssage and was dazed. Everything could be faked, but the system prompt could not.
Otherwise, who would still believe in the system?
The system was an intangible substance, to say the least. It was omnipotent, so having read the ssage sent by Xu Feng, she finally relaxed her muscles a bit.
"Are you really the Guild Leader?" She questioned in a doubtful tone.
"Of course, if not , then who could explain what we did in the empty cave and witnessed a galaxy-like environnt?" Xu Feng smiled, revealing a little bit of information that only the two of them knew.
Sure enough, Carn breathed a sigh of relief after hearing it.
That galaxy-like environnt was only between them, so no third party was capable of knowing. Unless Earthrender was powerful enough to know such secrets, but she doubted it.
"How unfortunate…" Crimson Heart suddenly muttered. "I was hoping it's another fake."
What was unfortunate was that her muttering was heard by Xu Feng, and he couldn't help but unconsciously close his legs together.
'She definitely has a tendency to hit n in that particular area.' Xu Feng thought to himself.
It wasn't rare to see won constantly targeting n in that area, given it was a ga weakness. Experience tales at empire
Even if the pain sensation wasn't much and allowed to be set to zero once the Divine World goes to an update, n would still imagine the pain.
Soti later, Earthrender finished explaining the situation to the trio, but mainly Carn and Crimson Heart.
Not to be a bragger, but Earthrender knew Xu Feng had long figured out everything, so he didn't care much about him.
"I conducted this illusion test with the collaboration of Yaren. I hope the two of you can forgive , but I'm in a hurry to find a successor." Earthrender sincerely apologized to Carn and Crimson Heart, hoping they would forgive him.
"You know I'm still here, right?" Xu Feng knitted his brows, feeling quite isolated.
"Shut up and wait patiently there!" Earthrender roared. "You're my successor already, so just wait until I finish compensating these two ladies."
