Amidst the cry out from Carn, calling the situation nonsense and unfair, Xu Feng had to quickly drag her away from her position.
When one mber died, the aggro it held naturally disappeared and the monster would then target the next person.
And since Xu Feng Blinding Strike was still on cooldown, the Stalker's target resud on Carn.
For so reason, Carn's attractiveness was higher than his, who was supposedly the team's healer and a vital supporter.
In normal occasions, the monsters would usually target the healer, given their nuisance ability to provide for the others. However, in this case, it seed the Stalker was more interested in Carn.
"Focus on dodging the Stalker's attack." Xu Feng commanded and proceeded to rush toward the corpse of Crimson Heart.
Nodding in response, Carn temporarily put aside her frustration in the bullshit attack and placed her focus on dodging. Having witnessed Crimson Heart practically get one-shotted, she refused to suffer a similar fate.
While Carn focused solely on dodging, Xu Feng arrived at Crimson Heart's corpse and cast Revive, reviving her.
Despite the revival though, Crimson Heart barely had any health or mana left.
She had a bitter smile on her face, clearly disappointed about making such an amateur mistake.
"The terrain in the chasm is unstable and unpredictable. There's no need to brood over the matter much." Almost as if he understood her thoughts, Xu Feng calmly explained the situation in a general stance.
"Take this ti to recover and rejoin the fight once you're ready." He added, and turned around, heading back to assisting Carn.
In most fights, the one who failed and fell in the battle was usually the most infuriated one contrary to what others might have thought.
After all, failing could result in a wipeout or failure for the entire team, but being the cause of it made them feel guilty and angry at their incapability.
Therefore, rather than blaming or faulting them for making the mistake, it was better to simply ignore it and move on. Blaming them would only make the situation worse and cause their confidence and motivation to decrease.
Watching his back rushing to Carn to help her, Crimson Heart glanced at the daggers in her hands.
'He didn't even bother to bla
huh.' Slightly surprised, Crimson Heart expected them to be wiped out and respawned back to Paradise Plains.
Following that would have been either Xu Feng or Carn rushing at her and blaming her for their defeat. Yet not only did that not happen, but Xu Feng still remained optimistic and continued the fight without losing hope.
Shaking her head, Crimson Heart didn't think much further and retrieved so Health Potion and Mana Recovery Potion to consu.
While she took this ti to wait for her health and mana to recover, she began to scrutinize the teamwork between Xu Feng and Carn.
Much to her astonishnt, Xu Feng managed to regain the aggro from Carn, and she was able to follow up with his actions.
There was no communication needed between the two, almost as if they could understand and complent the other person's actions smoothly. Their efficiency was no less than when she was in the battle.
No— in fact, their efficiency was actually higher than when she was in the battle along with them.
'Their synergy is high.' Crimson Heart knitted her brows, having realized she might be the one hindering them in reality.
As she continued to focus on the increased accuracy of Carn's spells, she finally realized the thod that Xu Feng used to tank the Chasm Stalker was better than hers.
When she tanked the Stalker, all she thought was damaging it slightly while dodging once she detected it was about to attack. Other than that, she didn't even focus much on Xu Feng and Carn's cooperation.
And although Xu Feng was able to keep up and match her actions, providing ample support. Carn, on the other hand, failed to find an opportunity to precisely land her spells at the silvery symbols.
'So it's not that her accuracy sucks, but my movent and action failed to create a proper opening for her.' Crimson Heart held a bitter smile, having witnessed Xu Feng constantly create a great opening for Carn to successfully land her spells.
Aside from occasionally swinging his staff to deal so physical damage, Xu Feng made sure to calculate his movent and ensure the Stalker would expose its silvery symbol in the perfect spot for Carn to strike.
The difference in their tanking ability was really massive, and Crimson Heart couldn't help but admit she was inferior to Xu Feng in this aspect.
It was a no-brainer if one asked whether they wanted her as a tank or Xu Feng as the tank despite the latter being a Cleric.
A Cleric capable of being a tank— who would have believed her if she was to spread this news out?
"Guild Leader, there's only one silvery symbol left." Carn suddenly called out. "Will we have enough damage to deal over 10 percent without Crimson Heart?"
Upon hearing Carn calling out her na, Crimson Heart snapped out of her daze.
"I've recovered enough already." Crimson Heart responded and darted toward her.
Within a blink of an eye, Crimson Heart appeared next to Carn.
"Good, just make sure to be careful of the terrain next ti. The chasm is really a damnable place and who knows if I might stumble into so unlucky timing." Carn exclaid, her aning being quite clear.
Despite Crimson Heart's displeasure with her from earlier, Carn didn't hold any grudge and instead, consoled her in a subtle manner. Due to this, Crimson Heart also began to feel sowhat embarrassed about her claim.
She had intentionally taunted Carn previously, thinking that she was just another one of those won riding the golden aura of a strong expert and getting carried by them.
Yet reality hit harder!
This kind of face-slap was really sothing Crimson Heart refused to receive again.
"Rest assured, I won't make the sa mistake twice." Crimson Heart responded, unwilling to experience another death because of carelessness.
