Despite having her motive exposed, Crimson Heart shrugged and said, "If you are that cautious, then I don't mind sharing my forging design with you as well."

"Oh, you're willing to part with the design and a Tier 3 offensive scroll?" Xu Feng raised an eyebrow, seemingly surprised by her decisiveness.

"What else can I do?" Crimson Heart rolled her eyes. "I'm the one who needs your help, and not the other way around. I'm bound to be taken advantage of, so rather than giving you a chance to ask for more. I might as well give you enough from the start."

"Your words made sense, but the trade so far is still a design for design, with

only gaining a Tier 3 offensive scroll."

"..."

Crimson Heart never thought the person in front of her was truly so greedy.

'No wonder the Reaver Guild suffered harshly in his hand.' She inwardly comnted. There was no way any Tom, Dick, and Harry could cause such a massive headache to the Reaver Guild.

Having interacted with him, albeit very briefly, she still can't comprehend his actions.

Firstly, he had saved her from being disqualified, but now he was purposely making things difficult for her.

Was he trying to toy with her or just a lunatic like Yaren?

She twitched her brows, pursed her lips, and asked. "What else do you want then?"

"Joining my guild— you definitely won't agree." Xu Feng teased purposely. "Instead, I want the equipnt you forged to be sold to

exclusively. Rest assured, I won't give you a terrible price when purchasing them."

"Exclusively is impossible." Crimson Heart was adamant and shook her head.

To sell her forging items to him exclusively was just another term to be working for him. It was not much different than joining his guild.

"Don't be so quick to refuse ," Xu Feng smiled and proceeded to reveal how he could supply her with an abundant amount of materials. With the Arcane Vein, supplying so materials to her was extrely simple.

Sure enough, Crimson Heart was caught in a dilemma upon hearing the allure of supplying her with materials.

Truthfully, her progress had been stagnating because of the lack of materials.

Not only were the materials difficult to find, but even when she wanted to purchase a few, the price was staggeringly high.

Finally, a few seconds later, she took a deep breath and gazed at him solemnly.

"Selling my items exclusively to you is impossible, but if the items are crafted from your supplies, then I can sell them to you only." She said, giving herself a leeway.

"I can adhere to that." Xu Feng agreed and shook hands with her.

Their conversation in reality was rely less than a minute. However, because of the tension and stake of the conversation, it didn't appear to be less than a minute.

Nevertheless, Xu Feng and Crimson Heart quickly went to work after the verbal agreent. The Frozen Field was still affecting the two of them despite Xu Feng looking rather posed and calm.

"My design is utility equipnt, used to detect any hidden enemies in camouflage or stealth mode, Veil Breaker." Crimson Heart explained.

Veil Breaker was a one-ti-use utility equipnt, but that didn't an it was any less useful. This utility item was extrely useful when dealing with enemies who love to go stealth mode, but also when you know soone wants to ambush you.

The only problem with Veil Breaker at the current stage was its cost to forge and not many needed it yet. The item was more of a mid-late stage where an Assassin could really deal a deathly blow with their stealth when attempting an ambush.

'Truly sothing else to acquire such a design.' Xu Feng had to admit that Crimson Heart was quite capable. Without any advance knowledge, she managed to progress so far, proving that she was not to be underestimated.

"My design is a Tier 1 Stamina Gemstone, great for attachnt to equipnt." Xu Feng promptly responded.

A look of astonishnt appeared on Crimson Heart's face. 'No wonder he was sowhat unwilling to share it with . Compared with my utility design versus his in the current stage, mine is indeed inferior.'

She twitched her brows and relaxed her composure. "Your Tier 1 Stamina Gemstone is more complex than my Veil Breaker. But I don't mind working on it first."

"Heh, you're mistaken about sothing here." Xu Feng shook his head and mused. "I'll be doing the forging, and your duty is to sabotage other contestants."

"Huh?"

"Conductor Yaren said it earlier. She ntioned that she wouldn't care if the contestants wanted to assist each other, but never said they can't sabotage either."

Alard, Crimson Heart didn't expect Xu Feng to be more sly than her.

His question to Yaren earlier wasn't asking about partnership, but rather to test whether they could sabotage others in this second round.

"Aren't you going to make an enemy out of everyone then?" Crimson Heart knitted her brows, finding his objective to be quite insane.

The contestants weren't so easy people they could ss around with. They were all powerful individuals.

"Didn't you still have another Tier 3 offensive scroll?" Xu Feng smirked coldly.

"..."

It was at this mont that Crimson Heart realized not only did he want to sabotage others, but he also wanted to exhaust her utilities and items.

She had revealed two more Tier 3 offensive scrolls after using one during the mini-test to deter others from thinking of targeting her.

Yet she never thought Xu Feng was secretly paying attention to her and even devised a plan to take one for himself, along with making her lose the final one.

"What if I refuse to sabotage others?" Crimson Heart narrowed her eyes and exclaid.

"Then I'm afraid you have to accept your loss here." Xu Feng shrugged and proceeded to activate Sacred Fire to heat up the forge.

Seeing how he was ready to begin forging his own design and looking at the remaining ti, Crimson Heart gnashed her teeth.

"Fine, but you must forge my Veil Breaker first. Otherwise, who knows if you will double-cross ." She demanded and handed over the design to him.

"Heh, I might be a nace to strangers, but I'm quite amiable and honorable when dealing with friends and allies." Satisfied, Xu Feng received the design and began learning it.
