With Yaren's permission, the Emcee quickly announced the rules and state of the second round to the audience.
So of the audience had probably guessed what it was going to be about, but having the Emcee confirm it made them more thrilled and excited.
"Hahaha, watching this particular profession is way more exciting than the others!"
"Agreed, I don't even care much about the other Professionist, since whoever wins in the Blacksmith Profession is definitely the best of the best."
"You don't say, Mr. Obvious."
As the audience continued to chatter among themselves, Carn morized their faces.
'Hmph, they speak without any thoughts because they're not the ones experiencing it. I'll let them have a taste of what the Guild Leader feels once they leave the city.' Carn inwardly exclaid, clearly being badly influenced by Xu Feng and his thod.
Amidst her anger in wanting to ruin these brainless people, she was interrupted by two people.
"I really wasn't wrong. It's Lady Lunar Wraith."
"Who?" Startled, Carn was alerted and ready to attack, only to realize it was Razor who had just spoken.
"It's you guys?"
"Yes, Lady Lunar Wraith." Brutus chuckled softly and tapped on the shoulder of a fellow audience. When that person turned and saw Brutus' tough build, they shrunk their neck.
The competition here disallowed any fighting among the contestants and audience, but that didn't an they weren't going to pick on them once the competition was over.
Thus, the person realized Brutus' strength was superior to him, and based on their hand signal, it was clear that Brutus wanted his seat.
"I'll move to another place," The person smilingly said and hurriedly left the area.
After kicking off the person, Brutus shalessly sat on the seat and turned to Carn, "Are you interested in the Blacksmith Profession as well?"
Carn shook her head and pointed at the stage. "No, but the Guild Leader is participating."
"The boss?" Alard, Brutus followed her pointer and soon noticed Xu Feng's presence on the stage.
"It really is our previous boss!" Razor twitched his brows and forcefully sat next to Brutus.
They were busy submitting their mission earlier, so missed the preliminary test and only got in after lining up for a long ti. Thus, they didn't notice Xu Feng was participating in the competition.
"Yo, get off!" Brutus coldly snorted once Razor kept taking more space on the seat. "Go snatch another seat."
"I wish I could, but the other seats are in a group and stronger than ." Razor yawned and made himself comfortable.
Annoyed, Brutus truly wanted to extend his legs and kick him out.
anwhile, Carn took the opportunity and asked, "Are the two of you willing to do
a favor?"
"Oh, what do you want us to do?" Instantly, Razor and Brutus turned to her with an intrigued expression.
"Nothing much, I just want you to teach so people a lesson."
"Say no more."
Razor and Brutus didn't bother to hear any details and agreed to assist her. With Carn's temperant, for her to want them to teach soone a lesson, ant that those people deserved it.
"Thanks," Carn smiled gently, her smile nearly causing Razor and Brutus to faint from the ethereal smile-like of a goddess.
As Razor and Brutus were smitten like so fool, back at the stage, the contestant had already begun to prepare for their forging.
However, their movent was extrely sluggish, with so even showing signs of frostbite.
Not many of them were prepared to forge in such a freezing environnt, prompting them to look no different than an amateur.
Hell, even an amateur was already a generous statent.
Despite most of the contestants failing, a particular contestant soon garnered much of the audience's attention.
Indeed, it was none other than Xu Feng, who remained quite relaxed.
'This Frozen Field is freezing, but compared to the ones in the Arcane Trial, it's nothing.' Xu Feng thought, not feeling a bit affected by the environnt.
He quickly retrieved the necessary materials required to forge the Tier 1 Stamina Gemstone and placed them neatly in a row. They were in the correct order in which they would be used.
Gazing at Xu Feng from afar was Yaren, who beca quite interested in his capability.
"Hmm, he's not using any protective gear, but is resisting the cold directly." Yaren squinted her eyes and decided to inspect him a bit closer. Previously, she didn't bother much with him, only finding him sowhat amusing. Now, she was truly wondering about his capability.
A few seconds later, an astonished look appeared on her face. "I see… this person is really sothing else. To be baptized but managed to conceal it so deeply."
While Yaren's interest in Xu Feng increased, Xu Feng himself felt a cold chill.
'What the?' Alard, Xu Feng gazed around, only to realize Yaren's eyes were focused on him. 'Her expression…'
Although he was unsure of what she found out, he knew sothing amusing must have been discovered by her to have such an expression.
Apart from the fact that he managed to resist the coldness without much effort, Xu Feng couldn't think of anything else.
However, for the contestant to resist the freezing temperature was rely the first step. It wasn't the most difficult step at all.
After all, the most difficult process was the fla.
To do a forge, a powerful fla was required to allow the forger to hamr them, but that would be a tedious task when the freezing temperatures are prone to diminish the power of the fla.
"Ah, don't die, my fla!"
"Ugh, this chillness is ruining my fla temperature!"
"My hands are already getting cold. How can I even forge? The conductor really wants to fail all of us!"
Soon, most of the contestants were struggling to retain their fla at their ideal temperature, with so even beginning to curse at Yaren. They couldn't care less about her temper when their ntality was slowly being corroded by the coldness.
Amidst the contestant's rage, Crimson Heart slowly made her way toward Xu Feng. "Can you help
out a bit, Feng?"
