Upon receiving a warning system prompt that indicated she was inflicted with poison, Carn beca dumbfounded. Her senses felt numb from the poison, and her movent beca sluggish.

"Oh, right, I forgot to ntion that the process involved poisoning, and forgot to warn you to be prepared for it." Xu Feng clasped his hands and exclaid in shock.

His expression and tone were in perfect sync. Almost everyone would have believed he had truly made a mistake, but Carn was not in that category.

"Your pettiness is really not fun, Guild Leader." Carn made her way toward him and pouted in annoyance. She refused to believe a ticulous person like him would forget about this kind of critical information.

Additionally, Xu Feng had shared his status screen earlier which she did not close yet. Hence, she could see he was safe and sound from the poison status ailnt.

In other words, he was wholeheartedly ready in advance and made safety protection for himself.

anwhile, Xu Feng continued to hold an innocent look and said, "I've really forgotten about it. Why must you wrong , Carn?"

"Hmph, I never expected you to be really this petty." Carn crossed her arms, disappointed at him.

However, before she could continue to be mad at him, she received another system prompt.

System: Due to exposure to a potent toxin, your resistance to poison has increased!

Carn's mouth was left agape upon seeing the system notification. 'Poison resistance increased?'

Aside from the regular attributes stats, the truth was that there were more stats such as resistance to different kinds of ailnt. Freeze, burn, poison, etc, all types of ailnt had their own individual resistance stats.

The only reason why they were neglected was because the thod to increase resistance was not known. Thus, players could only temporarily ignore them for the mont and focus on their attributes which factored the most in their combat power.

"Did you know about this?" Carn turned to him and questioned skeptically.

"Poison resistance is hard to gain, especially when the poison must be potent to affect a player deeply. I'm not affected by the poison mainly because I have dabbled in herbology and gained the resistance already to remain safe." Xu Feng calmly explained.

"If that was the case, then why did you feign ignorance?" Still adamant in believing he was ssing with her, Carn began to doubt his motive.

"I've told you, haven't I?" Xu Feng mused.

"I'm a petty person, so as a light punishnt, I conceal the information about allowing you to gain resistance in the process. Weren't you angry sowhat earlier when you thought I purposely allowed you to be inflicted with the status ailnt?"

"..."

Speechless, Carn sighed softly and took a seat next to him. With a wronged expression hanging on her face, she said, "You really are the worst when you decide to be petty, Guild Leader."

"Well, who told you to snap a picture of my dirty face?" Xu Feng teased and pinched her cheek softly.

"Okay, I was wrong about it, but I still won't delete a good mory," Carn admitted her fault and rubbed her cheek that had been pinched.

Just at this mont, she noticed her experience bar rising exponentially.

"Huh?" Amidst her confusion, she noticed Xu Feng's level had equally risen from level 12 to 13, and it didn't seem to be stopping anyti soon.

"H-H-How are we gaining so many experience points?" She stutteringly asked, her eyes widened in shock.

"Seriously, did you turn dumb?" Xu Feng shook his head. "This is the infinite glitch exp. The poison is starting to spread and those monsters beneath are dying, so we naturally get the credit for their death,"

The small pit he dug was precisely the interconnected point of a massive underground monster's habitat. It might not seem much at first glance, but the poison dose he used was the most intense one in the process.

When he was studying for the blacksmith Profession, he took the ti to mix these herbs together to ensure maximum effect.

During that ti, he got poisoned very badly in the mixing, which was why he beca overly haggard.

Aside from staying overnight to study, the poison also took a massive toll on his body, but it was all worth it in the end.

'Those monsters in the underground are all level 50s plus, but their resistance to poison is in the negative. Now I just need to ensure the poison potent remains and continue to profit off this glitch exp.' Xu Feng inwardly thought, calculating the ti required to restock the poison effect.

"Unbelievable." Contrary to Xu Feng's composed manner, Carn was shocked and horrified when she leveled up twice in the span of 10 minutes.

She was originally level 15, and now she had skyrocketed to 17, and the bar was still increasing. Keep in mind that it required more than millions of EXP to level up, and usually, it would take hours to even fill up one-third of the bar.

"How are we gaining so much exp from just poisoning a small pit, Guild Leader?" She turned to him and asked, her face sowhat pale.

What she was afraid of was that Xu Feng was cheating. Once caught cheating, the system would ban them permanently.

Although cheating was a difficult matter to achieve, just abusing it once would spell the end of their gaming life.

Xu Feng was unaware of her horrendous guess and rely kept silent.

Having utilized such an exploit, Xu Feng didn't know if the system was watching his move or not.

Therefore, it was better to keep quiet about the matter and not explain it.

However, it was precisely because of his silence that intensified Carn's misunderstandings.

"Guild Leader, we should stop now and not continue," Carn whispered softly. "If we're caught cheating, then we would be expelled from the Divine World forever."

"C-C-Cheating?" Xu Feng twitched his brows. Did she really take him for that low to resort to cheating? Cheating and exploiting are two different matters.

Cheating refers to those who use external factors to gain an advantage in a ga whereas exploiting is using the errors from the ga itself to benefit themselves.

The forr was frowned upon by every gar, but the latter was respected by gars because they took the ti to find all the hidden exploits.

Finding exploits was not an easy task and required a ton of research and testing to get through.
