The streets at Paradise Plains were getting interesting as nearby NPCs were stunned by the sight in front of them.

Nearly a dozen people were on their knees, bowing to Carn, who looked quite fragile on the surface.

"Get up first and stop making a scene." Carn gradually composed herself and instructed them. It was truly a first for her to see a dozen NPCs bowing to a player.

She had seen NPC being respectful to Xu Feng, but that was only one or two.

Yet she managed to topple his record in an instant, and in an unknown manner too. Just what did she do to make them want her as their master?

anwhile, the NPCs kneeling and bowing received her instructions as if it were the imperial decree.

They gladly stood up and lined up in formation, reverence could be seen on their faces.

"Did these NPCs go insane, Guild Leader?" Unsure of the situation, Carn rushed behind Xu Feng and asked.

If it were an enemy, she wouldn't have been afraid. After all, she would rely fight them to the death and ensure they would pay a price in the process.

However, in a fanatic situation like this, in which they held her in high regard, she didn't know what to do.

"I got this," Xu Feng said and turned to the dozen NPCs.

"You wish to take my guild mber as Master?" He questioned, emphasizing the word guild mber to them.

That way, these NPCs would now realize their identity and status.

Sure enough, the gazes these NPCs had initially for Xu Feng changed swiftly.

"Greetings to the Grandmaster," One of them exclaid, clearly quite clever in knowing Carn was soone who listened to Xu Feng.

After all, she had been hiding behind him. Only when one entrusts their safety to another person would they resort to such action.

"Who are you?" Xu Feng asked, inwardly feeling surprised by this particular NPC.

It had cleverly addressed him as a grandmaster, ensuring its chances of being accepted.

"Reporting to the Grandmaster, I am Feras, a Swordsman." The NPC introduced themselves.

"F-Feras??!" Alard, Xu Feng had to inspect this particular NPC more closely. "You're saying you're the Feras?"

"Uhh… that is my na, Grandmaster." Feras was confused by Xu Feng's reaction.

Even Carn was slightly taken aback by XU Feng's sudden loss of composure.

Didn't he just say that he got this?

So why did he suddenly react more intensely than her?

"Is there sothing wrong with this NPC?" Carn asked softly.

"Yeah, I can't believe coincidences like this can happen." Xu Feng nodded and turned to her. A bittersweet smile appeared on his face as he once again felt blessed to encounter Carn very early.

If not, then Xu Feng was afraid she would already reach a height that he couldn't cross despite being reincarnated.

"So what is it?" Carn seed relatively annoyed when she noticed Xu Feng was pondering silently again, leaving her hanging. "Should I accept them or ignore them?"

"That is your decision," Xu Feng said coolly.

However, the next mont, he whispered to her, "These NPCs are rather rich by the way. You can ask for a fee if they want to be accepted."

Initially, he was surprised by this group of NPCs, but after coming to a realization, he understood why they wanted to accept Carn as Master.

After Carn's showcase of force, these frantic fighters had taken her as their idol. This kind of situation wasn't uncommon once the Divine World underwent a system update.

Scenarios such as players taking so NPC as master, and vice versa were extrely common.

The only reason why Xu Feng was taken aback was that the Divine World was still in its early stage and he never expected the NPCs to be so bold and straightforward already in wanting to take a player as their Master.

Of course, the term Master was to make things sound right, but in reality, it was being hired as a thug— a thug that paid for their fee to beco one. In exchange, they want the thod to beco stronger and greater than before.

As everyone patiently waited for Carn to answer, she took a deep breath and glanced at them.

"Sorry, but I'm not going to accept any disciples." She responded, causing most of the NPCs to be shocked.

"W-Wait, we're willing to pay for the lecture fees!" So unwilling NPCs quickly shouted in hopes for her to change her mind.

However, Carn remained adamant and ignored them.

"Let's go, Guild Leader." She said, grabbing his arm and dragging him away from the scene.

Speechless, the group of kneeling NPCs had their mouths agape. But contrary to the spectator's belief that they were disappointed, expressions of blissfulness and excitent flashed on their faces.

"As expected of Master Lunar Wraith!"

"She's so decisive and adamant. A Master like her naturally has strict requirents!"

"Yes, she glanced at us before, but probably deed us unworthy yet. We must train harder and get her approval!"

The crowd started to beco motivated and wished to improve further to gain Carn's approval.

Unaware of her direct refusal, Carn was oblivious to the thoughts of these NPCs as she dragged Xu Feng away from the city.

Only when she was sure there was no one else chasing or spying on them, did she relax. She then looked at Xu Feng with a bitter smile, "Are you mad that I didn't accept them as free laborers?"

"Oh, so you knew what I was planning to do if you accepted them?" Amused, Xu Feng felt like he had never truly comprehended Carn's inner thoughts.

However, the sa goes for her in reality.

"No, I'm not mad." Xu Feng replied honestly. "Those NPCs are looking for you, so it is your right and decision to choose whatever you think is correct. Since you don't wish to accept them, then I won't pursue the matter either."

"Really?" Astonished, Carn's eyes widened in surprise. "But I was positive you wanted to recruit that Feras NPC person."

"I do, but this and that are two different matters." Xu Feng flickered her forehead and continued, "Anyway, let's not get delayed further in our objective."
