When she arrived in the city, she was startled by the bustling hotel. Yet other than the hotel, nothing else seed lively. It was as if the city was an abandoned one with only one active place.

With that in mind, she went on to check the city population and was dumbfounded to see the pathetic low numbers that were even worse than the beginner towns.
"This city is in a downward trend and it's probably going to be demolished soon," Carn revealed her thoughts. As an employee in a marketing company, she knew this type of business was close to bankruptcy.
Zero traffic and attractions spelled doom to any business.
Thus, Xu Feng needed to attract players to choose this city once they reached the requirent to liven up the city and ensure its survival.
As for why Xu Feng chose such a terrible city to develop, Carn had no idea.
Silence filled the atmosphere for a mont, only broken after Xu Feng started clapping his hands and laughing.
"You are really perceptive." Xu Feng praised.
Indeed, he purposely allowed the Reaver Guild to track his whereabouts, as well as exposed his location to others for the bounty that was still active.
Now that he had most of the vital shops set up. Who was the real prey and who was the real predator, it had yet to be decided.
"No, I'm not perceptive." Carn hurriedly shook her head and denied the praise. "It's more like you wanted
to guess it by bringing
here personally and even showing the reverential look these blacksmiths held for you."
"What do you an by that?"
"I ant that you are most likely the boss of this blacksmith shop. With that knowledge, players who co to develop here would need to patronize this shop unless they want their equipnt broken."
"Clever." Xu Feng was completely satisfied.
It was not hard to recruit a player to one's guild, but it was definitely a difficult matter to recruit a clever and knowledgeable person to the guild.
This was especially true when they were going to beco a future expert that everyone feared and respected.
"Alright, tell
what's the goal of having my equipnt enchanted?" Carn rolled her eyes and asked softly.
"We're going to be heading to an empty cave, but the possibility of it existing in a separate dinsion was high. Thus, we need to be extrely prepared for such a case." Xu Feng explained swiftly and proceeded to share the map that he painfully marked with her.
After receiving the map, Carn's eyes widened in surprise at the extre detail in the map. If he hadn't proclaid to be the one doing the marking, then she would have thought it was a map marked by NPCs.
'This is too detailed. Just how did he manage to do it?' Carn wondered silently. The amount of effort and ti required for it was definitely not sothing an average player could do.
"Oh, by the way, I've created a guild already." Xu Feng suddenly revealed. "Are you willing to join my guild now?"
His revelation timing was truly impeccable, and Carn realized she had been trapped in his sche all along.
"You won't give up until I agree, right?" She smiled bitterly.
"Well, I won't force you, but I will definitely convince you to join. I would be a fool to let such a talented individual go."
"If you weren't sowhat decently handso, then people would have mistaken you as a creeper stalker. They might even call the police on you."
"Then thank the lord for my great genes." Xu Feng flashed a cheeky smile, not a bit ashad.
He might be an orphan and never t his biological parents, but one thing he was sowhat grateful for was the great genes he received.
anwhile, Carn could no longer deal with this shaless individual.
"Just give
the invite. I'd rather save myself so headache from your countless pestering." She said, practically urging him to send the invitation.
"Hmm, you're getting desperate eh." Xu Feng rubbed his chin. "But you need to pass a certain test to join my guild."
"You—"
Before Carn could flare up at him, Xu Feng continued, "However that test is voided because you are handpicked by . See how nice I am? I vouched for you and saved you the trouble."

'Seriously…' She was rendered speechless.
Simultaneously, she started laughing as she couldn't fathom who the real Xu Feng was.
Once she received a guild invitation, Carn noticed the guild na to be very familiar.
"Vanguard… where did I see this na before?" She mumbled, clearly having so familiarity with it.
"Well, of course. Didn't you just go to the Vanguard Hotel?" Xu Feng teased.
Astonished, Carn's mouth was left hanging as she looked at him in disbelief. Suddenly, she dashed out of the blacksmith shop and glanced at the na.

"H-How much wealth does Feng have?" Stunned, Carn was truly unable to comprehend his capability.
Although she wasn't extrely familiar, she knew all shops operated through coins from the Divine World. And with how scarce coins were, not even the exchange center had much to be exchanged through dollars.
'Not only did he have a hotel, but he also owns a blacksmith? Did he rob an NPC or so bank here?' Carn slowly walked back to the shop, her expression alternating in between surprise and disbelief.
"Feng, tell
the truth. Are you the developer of Divine World or so kind of admin?"
