The reason why Xu Feng decided to leave early was not just because Zhao Kai was going to take a long ti with his grandfather, but also the text from Ning Yi.
After making the foundation, he finally received so results.
In regards to his rits in putting a vile person like Dean Qiao down, Ning Yi was praised by his father and even gained more freedom.
Since he had specifically asked about the Apex Tower previously, Ning Yi indeed did not disappoint him.
Upon being asked what kind of reward he wanted, Ning Yi wanted the control developnt of the Apex Tower’s floor.
"Brother Feng, you can rest assured. I’ll be there imdiately." Ning Yi laughed rrily, clearly exhilarated by being complented by his father.
How hard was it to earn the approval of Ning Huo?
It was extrely difficult, but he had done it. When his father called for him, his expression was full of satisfaction, even saying he had finally grown up.
Therefore, Ning Yi no longer cared whether Xu Feng could truly help him beco a fit person. He had already regarded Xu Feng as a brother.
"Alright, we’ll talk in person later." Xu Feng said, disconnecting the video call. Once the call was disconnected, he quickly asked Vera to turn the air conditioner into cool mode.
Afterward, he took off the outer layer of his suit, and upon closer inspection, one would notice it was stained wet.
"To impress that old man, I went overboard with the movent." Xu Feng sighed, feeling the pang of exhaustion taking a toll on his body now.
He rubbed his temples softly and proceeded to lie down.
"Mister Feng, your body temperature is at an abnormal rate. Should I change the destination to a nearby hospital instead?" Vera suddenly suggested, having detected the internal temperature of Xu Feng through the equipped system within the car.
"No need for a change of destination." Xu Feng responded and continued, "Are there so Life Waters stored here?"
Shortly after, the car interior moved briefly and a cold storage cabinet appeared in front of Xu Feng. It opened a few seconds later, and within the cabinet, there were four Life Waters stored.
"The previous owner of the car had stocked up so Life Water in the cabinet," Vera reported, with the previous owner being Zhao Xin.
As expected, she was generous enough to give him these but refrain from saying so. It was totally the style of Zhao Xin’s personality.
If he happened to ask or find it by chance, then these four Life Waters are his to use. Otherwise, they are just going to continue to be stored in the cabinet.
Life Water doesn’t have any expiration date, only less effective as days go by. ’This Xin is really similar to her grandfather in this case.’
Zhao Gaofu was also soone who would discreetly do things without ntioning them to anyone, essentially putting things by luck or chance if others were to discover his actions. Explore stories on .C??m
Despite knowing so, Xu Feng still took one of the Life Water and drank it, his complexion instantly took a turn for the better.
"She’s really one generous woman," Xu Feng muttered softly.
There were different rankings of Life Water, and the one he bought previously was the lowest of the lowest rankings possible. Otherwise, with his pitiful savings, there was just no way he could afford to buy one.
The Life Water he had just drank was at least three ranks better than the one he had. As for the specifics, even he wouldn’t be able to tell without a proper label.
Zhao Xin was quite ticulous in her gift. Not only did she conceal the matter, but she had got rid of any evidence that would allow him to determine the quality of the Life Water.
Of course, if Xu Feng was adamant in wanting to know about the rank, he could still do so, but what was the point?
His ti was precious and doing this kind of detective work was just not worth the effort.
Closing the cabinet with three Life Water contained in it, Xu Feng proceeded to lie at rest as Vera continued to drive him to his destination.
Ti slowly passed by, and Vera finished parking the car, unbeknownst to Xu Feng, who had fallen asleep during the journey.
"Master Feng," Vera called out nurous tis.
"Have we arrived?" Still sowhat tired, Xu Feng rubbed his eyes and asked.
"Yes, Master Feng."
"I see…"
Shortly after, Xu Feng got out of the car and glanced at the ti. It had been about 30 minutes or so since he had taken a short nap.
’It’s really not good to perform such a movent.’ He made a ntal note to himself. He might have known the movent and could even perform it, but his physical body was not adequate enough.
Had he continued performing such a movent, he would have exhausted himself to death. If it weren’t for the Life Water’s effect, Xu Feng was sure he would have dozed off completely throughout the night.
As he stretched his body, Xu Feng proceeded to walk to the elevator and go to the lobby of the Apex Tower.
The mont he arrived, Ning Yi, who had been sitting impatiently by a couch, stood up and shouted in joy. "Brother Feng, you have finally arrived."
If it was just a shout, Xu Feng would have been fine, but Ning Yi was practically like a bull, rushing toward him.
Without hesitation, he quickly sidestepped and avoided him, preventing Ning Yi from hugging him. In normal tis, he wouldn’t have minded, but with his current state, the consequence was unreal if the hug went through.
anwhile, upon grabbing the thin air, Ning Yi was confused.
"Is there sothing wrong, Brother Feng?" He turned around and asked, seemingly confused by his dodge.
"Nothing, it’s just that I had an exhausting night at a party and needed to keep so distance to get so cool air." Xu Feng casually explained.
