Carn pursed her lips slightly as she felt the Divine World was too harsh on the players.

The terrain itself looked difficult to travel already, and now they had to deal with a hostile environnt effect without a way to negate it, which was unbelievable.

Just what kind of sick sadistic person had to be to create such a ga?

"Aren't gas supposed to be fun and not difficult like this?" Carn comnted.

It was quite obvious that she was displeased with how difficult the ga chanics were. Additionally, there were so many things that she needed to learn just to avoid dying.

anwhile, Xu Feng remained silent, unable to find a plausible explanation.

Carn perceived the Divine World as a ga, but Xu Feng perceived it as sothing way bigger.

"There's no need to be overly concerned about the hostile environnt, Carn." Finally, Xu Feng attempted to pacify her emotions after coming up with an idea.

"Didn't I say I'm an expert? And as a Cleric, it's my responsibility to keep you alive. Although you might feel so discomfort once we enter the zone, we can manage it."

"I guessed so," Carn nodded her head after giving a few thoughts.

Suddenly, she recalled sothing that Librarian Griselda had gifted her earlier. She had said that the item could help relieve so of the pressure she would receive once entering the Brightstone Ravine.

"Feng, what do you think of these potions?" Carn retrieved them and asked softly.

'Potions?' Confused, Xu Feng inspected the potion and was instantly stumped.

'Stamina Potion? What kind of luck does Carn have?' He exclaid inwardly, feeling more and more that Carn was the protagonist and he was just a side character.

Not only did she get a fortuitous encounter and consu an EXP Potion that greatly boosted her level, but now it was revealed that she also got Stamina Potion.

Just how could anyone accept such a thing?

"How many of these potions do you have?" Xu Feng quickly composed his emotion and inquired.

"I have like four more including this one in my hand," Carn responded honestly, not feeling the need to conceal the matter from him. Though it was most probably the fact that she didn't recognize the value of the Stamina Potion.

Of course, it wasn't surprising to not recognize the true value yet considering the Divine World was still in its early stage developnt.

Players requiring a large amount of stamina were still rare, given the level of difficulty wasn't that high yet.

"These Stamina Potions will make things easier," Xu Feng comnted, giving her a brief explanation of how it would effectively save them ti and energy to navigate the Brightstone Ravine.

However, with the revelation of Stamina Potions in her inventory, another concern appeared in Xu Feng's mind.

Taking a glance at Jeff being distracted in surveying the situation, Xu Feng whispered to Carn softly.

"By any chance, do you happen to have a spare EXP Potion in your inventory as well?"

Since Librarian Griselda was generous enough to give her five Stamina Potions, he had a reasonable suspicion that Carn might receive even more than she revealed.

anwhile, Carn suddenly flashed a teasing smile as she tilted her head.

"Hmm, are you perhaps talking about this one?" She retrieved a clear turquoise liquid color bottle and shook it around. "I drank one already and saved this, unsure if I required it."

Damn!

Xu Feng was astonished that she really had another EXP Potion in her hand.

As much as he didn't want to admit it, he was really envious of Carn's luck.

Just what kind of Librarian did she encounter to be that generous?

Others might not know, but he had been deceived and scamd by nurous Librarians in his past tiline. Hence, he harbored a great disgust and grudge against them.

Taking a deep breath, Xu Feng coyly smiled and glanced at Carn. "Oh my, Carn, how co I never realized you are such a beauty? We should et offline soon."

If it was so other people who made such a statent, Carn would have been disgusted, but coming from Xu Feng, she felt annoyed. Annoyed not because of the complint, but because she knew how fake he was being.

In other words, he never once cared about her appearance until now when she had sothing valuable in her hand.

How was she supposed to accept such a situation?

Any woman loved to be complinted or praised for their beauty, and she was not an exception to this. Throughout her lifeti, she didn't even know how many complints she received, but this was the first ti that she ever felt ashad and annoyed.

"Just take it if you want," She pursed her lips and readily opened a trade window to give the EXP Potion to him.

To be precise, she already planned on giving it to him thanks to his offer to help her. Plus, she was playing casually so she didn't care about leveling up fast.

As the trade window opened, Xu Feng was dazed montarily. Initially, he was planning on buying it at a price, but never once did he think Carn would outright give it to him without any conditions.

The trade window was already sent to him with Carn confirming the transaction. Therefore, as long as he accepted the trade, the transaction would be completed.

"Are you sure about this?" Xu Feng asked skeptically, feeling sowhat hesitant to accept it for free.

Normally, in such a scenario, he would have greedily accepted it and laughed at the opposing party for their naivety, but Carn was soone he wanted to recruit. There was a big difference between exploiting strangers and his future mbers.

And much to his astonishnt, Carn held a calm expression and nodded her head.

"Yeah, I'm sure. It's obvious that you desired the potion when I ntioned being level 6 from the beginning." She said, exposing the fact that she had long figured out his inner thoughts despite his ability to conceal his facial expression.
