After the adrenaline rush of satisfaction faded, OneMandia quickly ca back to his senses.

He knew there was no such thing as a free lunch in this world.

That was especially true when it was describing the person opposite of him.

He took a deep breath, gazed at Xu Feng, and asked coolly, "I'm sure your boss didn't just want to hand

this kind of weapon for so carrot and stick thod."

Amused, Xu Feng knew the latter was a clever man.

Instead of indulging himself in a great weapon and becoming lost, he managed to remain clear-headed and realized sothing was amiss.

What Xu Feng feared the most was not his enemy, but people that would be on his side to have a pig-like brain.

After all, every organization, team, or any group-related activity failed most of the ti not because of external factors, but because of internal factors.

The most common internal factors are usually from the mbers.

So many leaders of such type were wary of enemies from the outside that they put most of their focus there whilst forgetting about the people within their group.

"You're clever," Xu Feng clasped his hands and praised. "The weapon was never ant to be the carrot but to assist you in your journey. Of course, it would be after you have finished this task and how effective you are."

"So in other words, if I don't attract enough fools to those locations. I beco useless in your boss' eyes, right?" OneMandia snickered, being extrely frank with his words.

Nodding his head, Xu Feng didn't plan on concealing it. "That's right. I'm glad you understand the gist of it. Save

the trouble of warning you about the consequences of failure."

"Heh, what a manipulative and malicious your boss is."

"Indeed, he's one bastard."

"You're not mad that I dissed him?" Confused, OneMandia didn't expect Xu Feng to take his comnt lightly.

"Why would I be mad?" Xu Feng shrugged his shoulders.

He then pointed at himself and bragged, "If you talk big like that, I expect good results. Only those who bring good results can act in such a way. I'm one of the good examples that dissed my boss 24/7."

Speechless, OneMandia seed to realize just what kind of hot ss he had landed himself in.

Nevertheless, knowing that the subordinates can act unruly in such a manner was sowhat reassuring to him.

He feared not a wicked boss, but one that thoroughly restricted its subordinates' freedom and wanted them to act like so sort of robot, only obeying commands and zero questioning.

How could one possibly produce any great content or results in that kind of work environnt?

Sighing softly as it brought back painful mories, OneMandia opened his map and pointed at the location ntioned by Xu Feng.

"I doubt this location is sothing random, right?" He questioned.

"Oh, it seems like you picked up on sothing." Xu Feng mused, wanting to hear his opinion or thought process.

Since he wanted to rope OneMandia into his side, he wanted to know what sort of mindset he had. As for the earlier subtle threats and manipulation he made, he could easily nd those in the future.

anwhile, OneMandia didn't respond right away, seemingly taking his ti to collect his thought processes and compile them.

His brows furrowed, hoping to connect the clues together. ??ι%п???#-$м??&я@??-#??@т-о&яι??@??-??и%-??!??∟ε????!??я?

Based on his experience with the latter so far, he noticed there was always a motive behind their actions, even if it wasn't their original intention.

They were like masterminds behind the scenes, effectively adapting to any ever-changing situation and turning it to their advantage.

'Wait a minute, Lin Feng is a Cleric…' Suddenly, OneMandia recalled that the person in front of him was a cleric. Due to his imposing deanor, he had forgotten about such critical detail.

Now that the final missing piece was resolved, he finally understood sothing in regard to this favor.

To make fake news, one must first create a believable video to deceive the audience. What better way to do that other than creating a scenario of them killing the target and falsifying the dropped loot?

"I'm going to be the one killing huh?" OneMandia smiled bitterly, holding the Stormfang Blade up and glancing at it.

CLAP!

CLAP!

"That's right, there'll be enemies in those locations, and as you know. I'm just a healer." Xu Feng clapped his hands, praising him for his fine conclusion.

"..."

After a mont of silence, OneMandia timidly asked, "The enemies aren't high-level, right?"

"Hahaha!" Xu Feng laughed heartily before continuing in a deadpan tone. "Of course, they are! Did you think we'll just give you a rare sword for no reason?"

"Will I die?"

"If your skills suck, then yeah."

If it weren't for the mask on Xu Feng's face, OneMandia could still feel the contemptuous look he was being given.

Smiling bitterly, he knew the enemies were definitely going to be tough as hell, especially when the person in front of him was no ordinary player.

The possibility of dying was high, but what else could he do?

"Their hideout is just right ahead of us, so ensure you don't make any careless mistakes, Little Man." Xu Feng calmly said.

"L-Little Man?" Dumbfounded, OneMandia stared at him, almost as if he was questioning the nickna.

"What? Did you expect to be called a big man?" Xu Feng snorted. "I'm being generous enough to call you a little man and not a little boy. Now stop stalling."

With that, Xu Feng gave him a kick in the butt, propelling OneMandia forward. He stumbled and tripped over a thin wire, causing nurous bells to start clanking loudly around him.

"Who goes by there!"

"Intruder!"

"How dare you intrude on our territory!"

Instantaneously, nurous shouting could be heard and OneMandia only had one thing on his mind.

'This damn bastard is using

as bait!' He cursed silently, realizing the deep shit he was in.

'Ahh, let's see a good show now,' Xu Feng thought, silently watching from behind.
