Chapter 1434: Sunrise Inner City Part 51
5%...
3%...
1%...
Right as the swordsman NPC was about to get up, Xu Feng unleashed Nether Blast.
BOOM!
The remaining 1% dropped to 0, and the swordsman NPC had fallen in battle.
"Woohoo!"
"Phew, we’ve barely made it!"
Amidst their celebration, Xu Feng suddenly scolded them.
"It’s not over yet!" He then pointed at the other bosses who were returning to their respective positions. "We only took down 1 out of 10 bosses. There are still 9 more remaining."
As soon as he finished his words, people’s eyes lost their color. Just one boss had taken them almost an hour to take down. If they had to go for another 9 bosses, then doesn’t that an they would be trapped for at least 8 more hours?
Even Carn was starting to lose motivation. The Swordsman NPC had really drained most of them already, especially with how tanky it was.
Not only was it tanky, but it also dealt a crap ton of damage, and AoE moves too.
On more than one occasion, unlucky DPS would get pulled into the Swordsman’s attack and end up getting slashed to devastation.
"Is this really possible?" Carn glanced at him and asked.
"I don’t think I can keep it up for another hour, to be honest." Veronica also expressed her concern.
She was soone who was used to sitting down at an office and dealing with paperwork. Although her experience points had skyrocketed during the raid, she really didn’t like playing for so long without any breaks.
"The raid will end in less than half an hour now." Xu Feng was flabbergasted at his mbers’ reaction. The most difficult part was the Swordsman NPC.
Now that the Swordsman had fallen, things would only beco smoother from now on.
After all, without the shredding passive ability from the Swordsman NPC, who would share it with the other 9 bosses, they no longer need to focus much on defense. Instead, they could go on the offensive without worrying about getting lted in 1 or 2 shots.
Not to ntion, one less boss ant their overall buff that boosted each other would disappear. This was why everyone said killing the Swordsman NPC successfully without losing too many people ant the raid was 90% completed.
Alas, this was only common knowledge in the past tiline.
The rest at present didn’t know about it, and Xu Feng was honestly still sowhat traumatized by the bosses’ failure to rember informing them of this particular information.
"You couldn’t have told us earlier?" Carn grumbled and resisted the urge to smack him.
"Sotis, you really must agree with the outsiders’ perspective and beat up the Guild Leader." Veronica cracked her knuckles.
As for the others, they didn’t dare to speak about the Guild Leader in such a manner. Even though internally, they wanted to curse him in multiple words for withholding such information.
"Honest mistake." Xu Feng shrugged and defended himself. "How many of you forgot about your position and require
to remind you? If we’re going to talk about forgetfulness, then I can begin counting."
Almost imdiately, the mbers seed to have suffered amnesia.
"Hmm, what were we talking about?"
"Nothing, I only rember that we just need to kill the other bosses."
"Yeah, the bosses would only get easier now. This was said from the beginning."
"These shaless people..." Veronica twitched her brows when she saw how fast these mbers began to act as if nothing had happened.
"That’s the Vanguard Guild for you." Carn exhaled softly and began to target the Arcane Mage.
The Arcane Mage boss was the next on the list because of their AoE ultimate skills that could easily wipe the whole team if not careful enough.
Needless to say, the raid had indeed turned easier when the boss’s health started to actually drop a good amount.
"Alright, people, the sa protocol just like the Swordsman NPC. I know it’s boring, but we have to do what we have to muster through to complete the raid." Xu Feng exclaid loudly.
He knew people would definitely get drowsy soon when dealing with so many bosses in a single dungeon.
After all, there had been instances where people fell asleep during the raid and got themselves killed in the line of fire.
"Haha, who will fall asleep?" Lightning Blade laughed wildly and began slashing multiple tis with his sword. Without the need to worry about being lted, he was a free man.
"I’ll gladly welco people to fall asleep." Blue Star smiled slightly. She subtly glanced at Cindersong and was disappointed to find the latter multicasting without a care in the world.
’Sigh, there might be another elite team soon.’ She sighed inwardly and glanced at the damage chart.
Once she excluded Xu Feng and Carn from the list, the highest damage dealer was none other than Cindersong.
While Blue Star glanced at her fourth-place ranking, Cindersong continued to widen the gap between them.
The fifth place was also trying their best to hopefully overtake Blue Star in terms of damage. But they were destined to fail because Blue Star refused to be overtaken by anyone else. Otherwise, she might really have to resign as the Star Team Leader.
In the blink of an eye, the Arcane Mage boss fell, followed by the Cleric, and then the Sorcerer.
One by one, the bosses were successfully taken down without killing more than 10 people in the group at a ti.
The death was easily overturned with the nurous Clerics on the spot who could revive them.
Soon, half an hour went by, and only a pitiful Gun Knight boss remained on the scene.
"Keep it up!" Xu Feng encouraged his mbers. "You’re all doing a fantastic job."
His face was full of smiles because they actually managed to clear the Sunrise Inner City.
As the Gun Knight shot their one last bullet, Xu Feng’s reversal healing kicked in, effectively wiping out the remaining health of the boss.
Ding!
