"To ensure fairness, the GMP that will be distributed for this boss will not be counted yet."
As soon as this was announced, the greedy DPS who wished to top the damage chart to earn more GMP were instantly disappointed.
They had tried so hard to greed for damage because they knew an internal auction would comnce once the raiding was successful.
Hence, they wanted to earn as many GMPs as possible to maximize their chances of winning the bid.
Alas, their sneaky and sly thoughts were easily discerned by Xu Feng, who quickly squashed their pipe dream.
However, Xu Feng wasn’t done yet as he announced another earth-shattering arrangent.
"Besides this aspect, there will also be an anonymous voting conducted where each player can vote for two players for their contribution. Of course, the player they voted for cannot be in the sa class."
To those who remained unaware of what this emphasized. It was a ploy to ensure the group remained harmonious and not try to show off by deviating from the plans.
In other words, the one who was least likely to get a vote was those who acted alone and caused trouble for others to cover up their mistake.
And to prevent favoritism, Xu Feng disallowed player voting from fellow players in the sa class, who naturally had a lot more communication and cooperation.
But even if it was anonymous, so still can’t harbor the thoughts of those with high ranks who would get voted most.
The likes of Veronica, Carn, and those Elite Team Leaders.
After all, that was essentially their big boss. Not voting for them ans not giving them faces.
Luckily, their concerns and worries were unfounded because Xu Feng had already taken that into consideration.
"The Elite Team Leaders, Guild Captain, Guild Commander, and I as well would be excluded from the voting system. It’s not that I want to be unfair to them, but their resources are many tis higher than the rest. Hence, this is a chance for others to earn more GMP." Xu Feng clarified his intention.
Carn and Veronica nodded in understanding. They never cared much about GMP because they alone earned a lot daily just by doing their usual routine.
The sa goes for the Elite Team Leaders, who already enjoyed high benefits.
They believed the Guild Leader’s arrangent was quite fair in allowing others to have a chance to catch up and boost their motivation for the subsequent raid.
As the anonymous voting session was posted, everyone was allowed to vote, including those who were ineligible to beco candidates.
Of course, players having 2 votes were barred from using them to vote for the sa person. What Xu Feng wanted was a close competition, and not so high disparity between players.
After all, the main gist was still to emphasize harmony and value cooperation over solo heroic play.
Everyone wants to be the main character.

Sweet Sky and Cindersong.
As ntioned before, Sweet Sky was a prominent healer, but who was Cindersong?

Cindersong was a ranker, aka a pro player, who could multicast flawlessly and understood her positioning well enough. She was the highest DPS and also the person that tanks love the most because she never needed saving or much attention.
To the Vanguard Guild’s tanks, she was their goddess because of how easy she made their life.
’I must tell Veronica to pay more attention to Cindersong.’ Xu Feng didn’t know when or why she joined their guild. He would be a fool to let soone like her slip away.
Not to ntion, Cindersong seed to have deliberately concealed her identity and ability.
Since she clearly didn’t wish to be recognized for so reason, Xu Feng chose to respect it. What he ant by paying attention was simply ensuring that the forr would feel at ease and comfortable in the guild.
Once he completed his own vote, he shifted his attention to the drop loot from the Red Ogre Mist.
A total of 50 common, 30 uncommon, 10 rare, 5 epic, and 1 legendary items were dropped.
Don’t be fooled by the legendary item. It was rely a fragnt that required multiple to be combined to craft into a real legendary item. And one needed 50 of these fragnts.
’Not a bad haul.’ Xu Feng thought. One of the epic items was actually an amazing one.
Breaking Shield... an epic item that enables the player to shatter the enemy’s shield based on the percentage of the user’s health points.
Now, one might think this was an item designed for tanks, but that would be the wrong misconception.
