Chapter 1400: Sunrise Inner City Part 17

Dawnshire City, Silver Wind Guild Residence

Autumn Breeze pursed her lips when Xu Feng directly ignored her ssage.

As for her little brother, he was even more aweso.

Directly went offline!

"I nurtured a white-eyed wolf." Autumn Breeze clicked her tongue and drank a mouthful of tea.

It was just a pity that the flavoring of the tea was so bad.

She was forced to spit it out after savoring it for a few seconds.

"Why is this tea so bland?" She coughed a few tis and needed to grab so tissue to wipe her mouth.

anwhile, Gentle Wind was visibly confused by her reaction. She glanced at her own teacup and took a small sip.

Sure enough, her facial complexion quickly changed as she spat out the liquid content in a heartbeat.

"What the hell happened to the quality?" Gentle Wind stood up and frowned deeply. The tea had always been ordered from an NPC Restaurant. It cost quite a fortune, too, because the tea grants a certain buff, which was beneficial.

Although the buff was still present, the taste had turned completely terrible. It was at the point of being close to inedible.

Were these NPCs starting to beco blackhearted rchants now that they were in the second major update?

"What ti did you purchase these teas?" Contrary to her anger, Autumn Breeze was quick to compose herself and inquire about the details of the tiline.

"Shortly after the Colossuses invaded most of the lands?" Gentle Wind pondered for a second and responded. She reckoned that supplies would be shortened because of the war, so she wanted to stock up a few in advance to prevent her guild from being stagnated.

Autumn Breeze facepald when she heard the tiline. There was indeed a ti when she was out of the Divine World to take care of her succession as the heir of Feng Enterprise.

Maybe because she was overly occupied and forgot about the incidents.

"Qing Rou... nearly all the plantations had either been destroyed or corrupted by the Colossuses." Autumn Breeze sighed softly and explained.

A few minutes later, Gentle Wind’s expression and eyes appeared to be dead.

She had spent quite a fortune to purchase these teas, but now she was being inford that these barely drinkable teas were the current best stock.

"What a scam!" She finally crashed out. These were all the guild funds used to help buff her guild mbers out.

No wonder the atmosphere in the guild has been gloomy lately!!

Who would still be in the mood if they were forced to chug such crappy tea down their throat daily to gain the buff?

"Do you have any buffing tea left then?" Gentle Wind glanced at her and asked.

Autumn Breeze smiled sheepishly. Of course, she had stocked up enough. The only problem was that the tea limit had prevented her from truly stacking up on tea.

Hence, she only had enough for her Dark Legion guild. She had no extra spare to take care of Gentle Wind... not especially when she had thought Gentle Wind would be mindful enough to stock up.

"Ugh, you—" Right when Gentle Wind was about to say sothing, they were soon interrupted by soone.

"I’m here, sis!" Zhao Kai arrived with a Fragrance Tea cup in his hand as he greeted her.

He had originally logged out to escape, but his sister directly threatened to cut his credit card.

Faced with such a threat, how could he possibly not comply?

"What is that on your hand?" Autumn Breeze squinted her eyes. She was focused on the aroma emitted from his cup.

"This?" Zhao Kai raised an eyebrow and smiled.

"A tea that our guild recently stocked up on." He responded, unaware of the weight of his answer.

"Your guild managed to stock up so tea??!" Dumbfounded, Gentle Wind was the first to speak up and approached him. Her gaze was also on the tea in his hand.

"Do you have any more of these teas?"

Knowing that she was his sister’s bestie, Zhao Kai didn’t mind the behavior and simply nodded.

"I have so more." He retrieved two more teacups for them to drink. There was an abundant amount, and it was just tea in his opinion.

One couldn’t bla him for his ignorance... for he was also absent for a long ti due to real-life training, where he could only hone his combat skills and eat a terrible diet.

Soti later, the two won tasted the tea and glanced at the buff they received. Needless to say, their eyes widened in utter disbelief and surprise.

"How was this possible?" Gentle Wind exclaid in shock.

"This Vanguard Guild always knows how to take people by surprise." Autumn Breeze was flabbergasted.

While everyone was struggling to find a good tea buff, the Vanguard Guild itself was already hoarding sothing unbelievable.

"Where did your guild get this tea?" Autumn Breeze inquired.

"Don’t ask ." Zhao Kai shrugged his shoulders. "I just got them because soone told

to stock up a bit."

Truth be told, he was supposed to go on his journey for the Gluttony quest. It just so happened that part of the journey passed through Dawnshire City, so he made his way here to et with his sister.

If not, then he would have continued his journey.

"What about your friend, Feng?"Autumn Breeze pressed on. She didn’t want to take advantage of them, but the current state had forced her to be desperate as well.

The Colossuses’ advancent had yet to cease at all. They continuously summoned hordes of monsters to annoy and threaten to overtake cities that were still fiercely defending.

And it just so happened that the city where her Dark Legion Guild was stationed only had 2 last defensive borders left.

Once those borders fell as well, then they would be in deep trouble. ’Do I really have to rge my guild with his... but I don’t know Lin Feng well.’

To be honest, Zhao Xin had gotten tired trying to manage the Dark Legion Guild. Money was no longer the most important factor in improving the guild.

Sure, real-world money could help alleviate so of the problem, but it was never a long-term solution.

Anyone could tell the Vanguard Guild was quite poor in the real world. Yet their achievent in the Divine World had surpassed many wealthy guilds and even so Super Guilds by leaps and bounds.
