Chapter 1361: Aetheria Empire Part 8

Henry stood up from his chair in astonishnt. His jaw nearly dropped as he scrutinized the emblem on Zhao Kai’s hand.

Others won’t know, but those in the military had a special thod to identify the emblem to authenticate its legitimacy.

And as the General, he could instantly detect the emblem to be authentic and that it belonged to their Scout Army.

In the blink of an eye, Henry already appeared in front of Zhao Kai.

"Where did you say your Guild Leader found this?" He asked solemnly.

"In the Oracle Region." Zhao Kai responded swiftly. Based on Henry’s change of attitude, it was evident that he finally realized the significance.

"Oracle Region..." Henry took a deep breath.

There was indeed a scout army scheduled to travel to the Oracle Region.

However, according to the intel, there shouldn’t be any dangers there.

"What other information do you know?" Henry stared at Zhao Kai and questioned.

The tone was icy, but Zhao Kai and the others knew it was directed at the incident.

’Well, how am I supposed to know more?’ Just when Zhao Kai was helpless, he suddenly received updated information from Xu Feng.

Lin Feng: Discovered an NPC from the scout army nad Terry. Do request imdiate assistance from the military if you’re there. Tell them there’s a Tier 4 Summoner enemy lurking in the Oracle Region.

Zhao Kai’s body jolted in shock.

"What’s the matter?" Henry narrowed his eyes. He had a bad premonition regarding Zhao Kai’s reaction.

The latter didn’t even react this much under his pressure, but now he was behaving abnormally.

In response to the question, Zhao Kai didn’t beat around the bush and relayed the information.

Soti later, Henry’s aura began to rise.

"A Tier 4 Summoner lurking in the Oracle Region... just who dares to target our Aetheria Empire!" Henry was fuming. In tis of crisis, there could still be inhumane people betraying them and joining the Colossuses side.

These traitors of humanity deserved nothing but condemnation.

"Then about the reinforcent?" Zhao Kai took the risk to ask. Based on the ssage, he was certain that Xu Feng must be in danger. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have asked him to send help.

Henry extended his hand. "I’ll send an elite army to head over there with the commander being a Tier 3 attacker."

As much as Henry wanted to personally go over there, he could not afford the possibility that it might be a misdirection.

A misdirection not from Zhao Kai, but the enemy. He had heard news of the Vanguard Guild’s contribution to warhorses.

Hence, their credibility was rather high.

Moreover, Vanguard Guild Leader Lin Feng was soone vouched for by many prominent people, including the renowned Herbalist Elias.

Although the information was strictly locked to a certain degree of rank, he was lucky enough to be able to access the file.

"Thank you, General Henry." Zhao Kai cupped his fist and gave his thanks.

’Feng, please hang in there. We’re coming to you soon.’ He thought to himself, hoping that everything was well on his side. At the sa ti, he blad himself for using the Gluttony EX skill early on.

While Zhao Kai took this incident as a lesson, elsewhere, Xu Feng was currently experiencing his worst mont since his reincarnation.

...

Oracle Region

"Boss, there’s more hounds here," Ken shouted in alarm.

Xu Feng narrowed his eyes and increased his perception. In the blink of an eye, he detected four hounds up ahead, each one exuding a powerful aura.

"No choice but to brute force through. Absolutely do not delay our movent!" He commanded and warned solemnly.

"Every person is for themselves. We must break through the sphere of influence of the Tier 4 Summoner."

"YES, BOSS!"

Almost imdiately, the Demoness Army assud the phalanx formation.

The phalanx was a tight, rectangular military formation of heavy infantry, where soldiers stood shoulder to shoulder, overlapping large shields to form a shield wall with their spears projecting forward.

The intent was to create a formidable, almost impenetrable front against frontal assault, but vulnerable on flanks and uneven terrain.

Naturally, in this case, only the Tanks were placed on the foremost front, whereas the DPS and more fragile classes hid in the back to throw their offensive spells.

A Tier 4 Summoner was simply too overwhelming.

Xu Feng knew this formation ant that those lagging behind or unfortunate enough to be caught on the flank or behind were going to forfeit their lives.

Hence, he made sure only players were placed in these vulnerable positions.

Even those DPS in the Demoness Army were placed in a protective position.

Although with the Army Camp, the NPCs would never have a permanent death as long as the player paid enough money for their resurrection, Xu Feng still had no intention of losing money like this.

"Just how powerful is this Tier 4 Summoner?" While Xu Feng was busy strategizing their current plight, CarnageBound lashed out in frustration.

Aside from the ti he was thrashed by Cool Wind, he had never suffered so miserably.

An enemy that they hadn’t even seen a shadow of was capable of making them flee like panicked rats.

How frustrating was that?

"Shut up with the dumb question already." Carn scolded in response. Her man was busy thinking about strategy, and this person just had to question the obvious.

Did soone call him a mute or what?

Just because you don’t speak doesn’t an others will treat you as a mute.

Or was he that desperate for attention and wanted so screen ti?

"CarnageBound, stay quiet if you don’t have any inputs." Evelyn chid in and reprimanded the forr. They were still on the run, so it was really inappropriate to be lashing out or ranting at the mont.

Being scolded by two won at nearly the sa ti for speaking out, CarnageBound could only lower his head in sha.

’Tier 4... I’ll reach that tier one day too and bully this enemy.’ He vowed internally to get vengeance.

Alas, his vow was destined to be off-screen, granted that Xu Feng was going to take the spotlight.

"I’ll distract the Tier 4 Summoner. The rest of you must escort Terry to safety and wait for the reinforcent from the Aetheria Empire."
