Chapter 1331: Divine World Version 2 Part 7

Xu Feng’s explanation might be subtle and not a direct accusation, but Jessica’s rage had reached its peak.

Without a doubt, she was certain that this was malicious sabotage from competitors.

It wasn’t her first rodeo to witness fellow Immortals going against each other.

She had even seen Xu Feng personally requesting a Guild War Token from the City Magistrate to target another Immortal in a different city.

These were the types of events that they tend to ignore outright. After all, what does the Immortals’ fight have to do with them anyway?

However, the situation was different this ti!

What Xu Feng was doing was currently contributing to the Empire and to the war against the Colossuses.

To hinder and sabotage him at this mont was equivalent to becoming enemies with the Empire and openly siding with the Colossus.

"Who are they, Lin Feng?" Jessica’s eyes were ablaze. She could barely contain herself from exploding and releasing her mana.

How dare these people stop him from producing war horses!

They are truly courting death!

Soti later, Xu Feng reluctantly listed out a few nas.

"They also operated quite a lot of stores and forced

to close my business if I wished to have those materials." Xu Feng tried to regulate his emotions, but tears ultimately still seeped out.

He wiped his tears and said sorrowfully. "I didn’t want to close my business, but for the greater good, I have ordered my people to shut down operations. As long as I can get my hands on those materials and produce enough horses for the Empire to fight against the Colossuses, it’s worth it."

Upon seeing his determination to contribute to the war effort, Jessica’s eyes turned red.

This was the type of people they needed in tis of crisis!

Loyalty and willingness to sacrifice themselves for the greater good!

BAM!

Jessica slamd her palm on the desk. She then lifted her sleeves up and promised him.

"Rest assured, Lin Feng. I’ll handle this matter for you. As for the materials, you can get them from our warehouse. Don’t worry about the cost. There will be people footing the bill on your behalf." She said in an extre fierceness.

Needless to say, the people who would pay for the cost were quite obvious.

’Heh, isn’t this just asking

to empty the warehouse for free as compensation for the headaches I endured?’ Xu Feng wasn’t foolish to not understand Jessica’s intention.

In her mind, the Adventure Guild’s warehouse wasn’t as important as delivering the horses to the Empire.

Soti later, Jessica led the way to the warehouse.

"Do pick out anything of use to your liking." Jessica gestured with her hand and urged him to take his ti.

"Thank you, Jessica." Xu Feng nodded and entered the warehouse. He understood that Jessica was in a rush to relay the information to Howard and the City Magistrate.

After all, this was an important matter!

Likewise, Xu Feng also didn’t want to delay her movent. He had set so many things just for this mont.

From now on, those hostile guilds were officially eliminated from the competition.

Choosing to beco an enemy of the NPCs was equivalent to being a rebel. They would no longer be able to play normally in the Divine World.

Just like that, Xu Feng took his ti squandering everything worthy to go to his inventory.

Naturally, he wouldn’t actually empty the entire warehouse. There was a limit to how much he could take to ensure he would still be in their good grace.

The Divine World was not just a simple VRMMORPG where you just hack and slash monsters to level up. It also involved heavy NPC interaction and a relationship to rise.

A few hours later, Xu Feng returned to his Guild Residence and beca a timid person.

"Hmph, you finally decided to show up?"

"Do you know how much work I have done the past few weeks while you went ahead and played a couple of gas with Carn?"

"I swear to god! You are one of the most blackhearted bosses I have ever seen. Overti here and overti there! I have no more freedom!"

"And what the hell was your plan anyway? I didn’t even know until now! Did you know how worried and concerned I was, but I chose to stay quiet until now? It’s because my head is dying from overworking that I can’t even think properly!"

At this mont, Xu Feng was already on his knees and nodded like a kid who had done sothing wrong.

Veronica was shooting her words left and right.

Each sentence was louder and colder than the previous.

"Are you a mute?" Veronica raised an eyebrow. "Weren’t you acting so prideful and calm when we video called?"

Poor Xu Feng could only keep quiet and his head low to avoid eye contact.

’Damn, I thought everything was fine from the video call. But it was all a bait to make

co out.’ He never expected Veronica to be so shrewd and scheming toward him.

And what did she an by overti here and overti there?

He never told her to work overti, and when she did, she would receive triple the pay.

No freedom?

Oh co on, that was even more slanderous!

Aside from him and Carn, she was practically the highest-ranking person in the Vanguard Guild.

Who would dare to disobey her words?

As long as she willed for sothing, everyone would have to follow unless he or Carn voted against it. However, the chance of that happening was extrely slim.

After all, Veronica’s administration work was nearly flawless.

The only ti she struggled was when those big bosses, aka the strong enemies, decided to work together against her.

When those big bosses ca, wasn’t it he who ca forward to suppress them?

’Fuck, why must I suffer this kind of injustice?!’ Xu Feng’s hatred toward those enemies had soared to another height.

Had it not been for their being so idle and targeting them as soon as the second update completed, then he wouldn’t have been forced to receive a harsh verbal scolding.
