Chapter 1277: Global Manhunt Part 1

The cheers and excitent of killing the mutant boss quickly descended into depression.

Almost every mber’s expression turned sullen at the system prompt.

They didn’t even get the chance to check on the drop loot from the Terrorizer Machine when they were inford of a global manhunt.

"This is ridiculous!" Blue Start clicked her tongue and hissed. "Why is the system being so unfair?"

"I know, right! We’ve worked so hard to kill a mutant boss, but now we’re forced into a global manhunt soon!"

Needless to say, it wouldn’t be long before many people swarm around them.

The allure of a mutant boss’s loot was extrely tempting to everyone. This was especially so when the mutant boss was level 85.

Which kind of sane person wouldn’t be intrigued by getting a slice of the cake?

"Lunar Wraith, put all the drop loot into your inventory." Amidst the commotion, Xu Feng quickly turned to Carn and instructed her to store the majority of the loot.

"Got it!" Carn wasted no ti and stored all the high-rarity items.

A few seconds later, her inventory space was filled to the max.

"I have no more space, Guild Leader."

"Let

store the remaining."

Soon, Xu Feng took over the mantle and stored the items. Unfortunately, the drop loot was too vast in numbers.

In the blink of an eye, his inventory space was also maxed out.

"Blue Star, Dark Night, the two of you are to store the remaining. This will be the rotation process for Team Leaders, followed by the highest contribution. Don’t worry, this isn’t the final reward distribution." Xu Feng made sure to emphasize that this was to prioritize the protection of these items.

Needless to say, nobody had any complaints with Xu Feng’s arrangent.

To protect the items, the highest contribution was often the strongest among them at the party.

It was only right that the strong should store the items to avoid the chance of dying in the pursuit of others.

"Where should we flee?" Blue Star glanced around the surroundings and asked. With less than 5 minutes left, their location would be completely exposed.

They couldn’t even enter the town or cities to receive protection from the NPCs.

"Who said anything about running?" While everyone thought they were going to be running in circles to stall for the ti being, Xu Feng’s words stunned everyone.

"I’ve only asked you guys to store the items, but I never said we’re running away."

"The Guild Leader wants to slaughter those who wish to take a slice of the cake?" Carn’s face flashed a sly grin, her hands rubbing together slowly.

"As expected of my dear Demoness!"

The System made a terrible blunder this ti.

They wanted to balance out the Divine World by preventing their guild from hoarding all the rewards of the slain Terrorizer Machine.

However, they failed to calculate that their party consisted of two Tier 2.

Even if there were players who reached Tier 2 as well, Xu Feng was confident that he could kill them with the help of Carn.

What the System thought was a global manhunt on their party was actually a trap for others to co and donate their precious equipnt to them!

Carn also ca to this conclusion, which was why she held a wicked grin.

As the two of them had a silent conclusion, Blue Star could only frown and twitch her mouth.

’These two are at it again!’ At this point, she would be a fool to believe these two weren’t in a deep relationship.

This kind of silent communication between them was definitely sothing only a couple could achieve!

Not to ntion Blue Star, even the other guild mbers sensed sothing was going on between the two.

Despite this, none of them dared to voice it aloud. They all wanted to live and not court death.

"Anyway, Guild Leader, have you decided on the perfect burial place for those who wish to co to us?" Carn asked cheekily. She hadn’t unleashed a massive killing spree since the ti people from MIST had ssed with them.

"Naturally." Xu Feng nodded and readily shared the location in the party chat.

The Twilight Glades was sothing he knew at the back of his head.

To choose a perfect location to defend and kill enemies, he naturally had many places.

"This location is from a high mountain. We can gain the high altitude advantage and kill those who wish to climb up." He explained the strategic place of their ambush.

Because players still hadn’t unlocked Flying Mounts, much less Ground Mounts, these mountain terrains were the perfect place to lie in wait.

"But what if they used flight or teleportation?" Blue Star raised her hand and questioned.

"There’s also large-scale transportation through Ragged Scrolls!" Kailey chid in.

"Relax, the terrain we’re headed to has restrictions." Xu Feng mused. "Even we would need to climb the mountain carefully, so we should start heading over there."

Shortly after saying that, the collective mbers all followed Xu Feng’s lead.

None of them doubted or even questioned his decision.

While their party began to comnce their plan, elsewhere, the players went into an uproar from the global broadcast announcent.

[System Notification: Congratulations to the Vanguard Guild for achieving a first kill on a mutant boss, Terrorizer Machine!]

[System Notification: A Global Manhunt Event has been triggered. The participants in the raid will have their location exposed for 1 hour. They are barred from entering any town or city. During the 1-hour duration, any participant will have their death penalty increased by 3 tis! All players are welco to join the fun!]

"Hahaha, the Vanguard Guild sure shot themselves in the foot this ti!"

"How dare they sneakily kill a mutant boss and wish to conceal the matter!"

"The system literally gave them a middle finger. These days, the Vanguard Guild has been too arrogant! This is definitely karma!"

"Our guild’s revenge has co! Without any protection from the town or city, they are just fat sheep for slaughter!"
