Capítulo 1266: Origin Trial 2.0 Part 11

Anton’s pupils constricted when he found Xu Feng’s reaction to be completely different from what he imagined.

Why was he acting calm and lazy?

Wasn’t he surprised to be screaming like a lunatic after his stealing action?

“No, it’s a trap!” Alard, Anton hurriedly tried to vomit up the small vial of liquid from his stomach.

Alas, it was a little bit too late.

Despite realizing sothing was amiss at quite a fast rate, Anton ultimately fell into the deceptive act by Xu Feng.

To ensure his act was on point, he even threw away all sorts of dignity and played a desperate beggar, willingly to lick the spilled liquid on the ground.

One could say this was the highest form an actor could go through!

“I didn’t spend the last few weeks acting in the short drama for naught. I’m a protagonist for heaven’s sake.” Xu Feng smirked coldly. The liquid content was instantly dissolved upon contact with the human’s mouth.

Even though the parasite occupying Anton’s body wasn’t human, it was still using Anton’s human body.

In other words, the liquid had long been fused with Anton’s internal organ.

By now, the parasite should know its death was inevitable.

“Y-Y-You actually dared to swindle !” Anton, or more specifically, the parasite creature dwelling inside the body, was enraged.

They wanted to quickly use their last-ditch effort to take Xu Feng down with him.

Unfortunately, the liquid’s potency and effect had already taken effect.

As soon as the parasite wanted to use their power, they found themselves restricted and deeply invaded.

Anton’s body collapsed to the ground, their face constantly twitching in an uncontrollable force.

Soon, his face seed to have split into two faces. One face showed the original Anton, and the other face showed the parasite-occupied version.

“What an unsightly creature!” Xu Feng clicked his tongue and taunted.

“Curse you!” The parasite roared in fury and wanted to lunge toward him to deliver a strike.

Alas, they could no longer command the body at their will anymore.

“Hmph, how dare you curse at my loyal mber!”

Anton snorted and readily utilized the mana within his body to forcefully increase the liquid’s potency.

“No, don’t you dare, Anton!”

“I’m a Commander! What sort of actions do I not dare to do!”

In the blink of an eye, Anton’s power soared to a new height, whereas the parasite could only screech in agony as they turned into nothingness.

Ding!

[System Notification: Congratulations to Player Lin Feng in curing the Commander of the Battleship Lux! A quick reminder that there is still a secret enemy within the battleship and you must escape from Planet Zaun!]

Seeing the system prompt, Xu Feng heaved a sigh of relief. Nothing was more secure than having the situation guaranteed by the System itself.

Still, he didn’t dare to relax entirely when there was a secret enemy remaining in the battleship.

‘Just who could this person be?’ Xu Feng frowned. He had no idea of the secret enemy.

Was it soone he had interacted with before?

Or was it soone he had never interacted with and was concealing their identity?

While he was left pondering, Anton’s body began to squirm intensely, clearly a process of retaking his body back.

Sweat started coming out from Anton’s forehead as he panted heavily.

By the ti it was over, his entire military uniform was drenched.

“Hah… I’ve finally broken free from the parasite.” Anton took a few deep breaths. Soon, his eyes shifted to Xu Feng with a grateful look.

“Thank you, Trainee Michael.”

“It’s my duty to protect the Commander.”

“A Commander? What rights do I have to keep the title? Because of my reckless exploration, I nearly endangered the lives of everyone in the battleship and even got Coordinator Aera killed in a brutal manner.”

At this mont, Anton was wracked with guilt and sorrow. Although he couldn’t control his body, he had witnessed everything the parasite had done using his body.

When he saw how Aera died on repeat on the screen, he wanted to scream in agony.

That was a loyal mber of his battleship—soone whom he had battled alongside in nurous space wars.

To think that she lost her life because of a mistake caused by him was too ntally draining.

“Commander, we need to leave Planet Zaun imdiately.” Xu Feng ignored his sorrowful phase and inford him. “There’s also a secret enemy still hidden in the battleship, according to the information that Aera and I discovered.”

Needless to say, the ‘Aera’ na was a lie.

They had never discovered any secret enemy, but using her na would definitely strike a chord in Anton’s mind.

“Coordinator Aera has discovered another secret enemy?” Sure enough, Anton’s eyes glinted in a cold light upon hearing the na.

“Very well… the lockdown would remain in place. Once I get my hands on this enemy, I’ll make sure their life will beco hell.”

In the blink of an eye, the Battleship Lux departed from Planet Zaun imdiately.

anwhile, in the Planet Zaun of a very hidden grotto, a monster coughed up a mouthful of blood.

“Damn it! That trainee bastard actually ruined my plan!” The monster cursed in fury. It was so close to controlling the entire battleship and sending its army to the human planet to conquer.

Yet all was ruined in the final mont when it was deceived by a power-up liquid!

“Whatever, there’s still that timid bastard whom I planted. But what was the aning of his action in planting reconnaissance around the area? If it weren’t for my orders, he would have died long ago.” The monster narrowed its eyes.

“Maybe he was putting up an act to earn rit. That should be the case! Hmph, Trainee Michael, right? You’ll et your end soon!”

The monster had engraved Michael’s appearance deeply in its mind.

Once an opportunity arises, it would definitely torture and kill Michael.

While the monster held such thoughts, back at the Battleship Lux, Xu Feng received dals and accolades for his accomplishnt.
