Chapter 1257: Origin Trial 2.0 Part 2
[Interstellar Era: Replay last saved progress?]
As Xu Feng gazed at the system prompt that allowed him to refresh his mories on the previous progress, he readily clicked yes.
Too many events had occurred since his last playthrough on the Origin Trial.
Naturally, the replay only highlighted significant events.
If they really replayed the whole scenario, then Xu Feng reckoned he might be in place for over an hour.
The Origin Trial mission wasn’t short!
"Thinking back, I wonder how I managed to pass the trial." Xu Feng got goosebumps recalling the trial, which required him to do many spy and investigation actions.

Shortly after reading through the details and seeing snippets of his action being taken by the System, Xu Feng refreshed his mories.
He heaved a sigh of relief when he realized this second trial could be considered easy. ’Seems like Carn’s luck did rub off on .’
The first trial laid the foundation and the background of the setting, which naturally took a lot of ti.
But the second trial that he was about to undergo only required two things.
First, he needed to cure the Commander of the Battleship Lux, who had been compromised by the enemies in Planet Zaun.
Once that was done, he needed to ensure the Battleship Lux fled successfully from the dangerous Planet Zaun.
If he followed the story trajectory in this manner, the third trial should be returning to the Ho Planet to deliver this horrifying news to enlightened others.
Having his mind refreshed and ready for the event, Xu Feng stretched his fingers and accepted the transmission.
Just like that, Xu Feng’s clothes had completely changed as he once again found himself being thrown away by the System.
"For heaven’s sake, can’t you just transport
nicely?" He clicked his tongue in frustration. Still, he closed his eyes and curled his body up to prevent the nauseous from hitting him.
Soti later, once the shaking was over, he heard nurous voices.
"Trainee Sam has returned from Reconnaissance Duty. Rewarded with 15 rits and 10 Luxion Coins."
"Trainee June has returned from dical Duty. Rewarded with 20 rits and 15 Luxion coins."
"Trainee Kyle has returned from Engineering Duty. Failed to complete the task and is punished with confinent for 3 days. 10 derit points and deduction of salary."
A robotic announcent voice continued to resound with each trainee returning to the Battleship Lux from the outside. The trainees walked through the scanner and were automatically screened by the AI system to determine whether they passed or failed the duty.
Those who passed received rewards in relation to their achievent. In contrast, those who failed received punishnt.
The fact that the announcent was made live was done on purpose to force the trainee to understand that failure ant discrimination and their value dwindling in the Battleship Lux.
It has been emphasized ti and ti again that the Battleship Lux doesn’t care for incompetent people.
’What a dystopian-like battleship.’ Xu Feng thought to himself.
Although he understood the strictness was necessary since the Battleship Lux belonged to the army, aka military, such constant oppression would only prevent the mbers of the army from operating properly.
Who could do their best when their mind kept dreading the punishnt?
Thankfully, Xu Feng only needed to endure this kind of oppressive setting for the duration of his second trial.
Maybe the Divine World System knew that continuously playing in such a setting could cause irreversible damage to one’s ntal state, so they forcefully implent separation in trial.
After all, even a sane person would turn crazy when they kept seeing such brutality and harshness.
"Next person in line, move forward!"
While Xu Feng was a bit distracted, he overheard a robot’s voice requesting the next person in line to walk through the scanner.
It was finally his turn, and Xu Feng could only hope that his disguise remained flawless.
Currently, he was still under the disguise of Mike, and not his alias granted by the System, Michael.
’I swear they better not pull out so dumb cliche and have my disguise exposed.’ He took a deep breath and stepped forward with his right foot.
So say using the right foot first would bring good luck, so hopefully that was true.
As he passed through the scanner, Xu Feng’s heart began beating a bit high.
BEEP!
The scanner made a beep sound, nearly startling the crap out of him until he saw the light turn green.
"Trainee Mike has returned from Reconnaissance Duty. Rewarded with 30 rits and 25 Luxion Coins."
The robot’s voice resonated in the area, causing so of the nearby trainees to look at him in a new light.
’Not good!’ Xu Feng instantly sensed this was a bad on. To take the spotlight when he was in disguise was equivalent to a death sentence.
"Ah, I still need to report to my supervisor." He hurriedly exclaid loudly, tucked his tail, and dashed away. He refused to let the other Trainees get a deeper impression of him, much less receive any attention.
’I need to find another fool to disguise myself in.’
