Chapter 1204: Precious Demoness
Xu Feng was in a fit of rage when Wei Xing disturbed him for soone insignificant like Tess.
"Tell her to scram." He coldly instructed. "I have no interest in discussing business with them whatsoever."
Suddenly, a voice resounded from the phone.
"Please give
a chance, Xu Feng."
’A female voice?’ Dumbfounded, Xu Feng instantly realized the situation.
This wastrel Wei Xing actually placed the phone on speaker mode.
Was he trying to revolt or what?
Or did he get srized by the other party’s beauty and beco chard?
In either scenario, Xu Feng truly held a glimpse of desire to expel Wei Xing.
Just because he gave quite a lot of authority to Wei Xing and, as a contact person, didn’t an he could bypass everyone.

Right when he was about to end the phone call, Tess suddenly brought up the news.

’Veronica?’ Xu Feng’s brows furrowed.

What confused him was the fact that Veronica actually permitted her to have a chance.

’What’s going on?’ He hurriedly sent a text ssage to her while telling Wei Xing and Tess to wait, putting them on hold.
Soti later, Veronica responded to the text ssage.

Xu Feng: No worries. Do you recall why you permit a chance to them, though?

"You really are harsh." Carn arrived at the living room in a bathrobe with her hair still wet and comnted. She had listened to their phone call, but opted to stay silent.
"Harsh is an understatent." He shrugged. "I gave them a warning in the past. They didn’t care and ignored it."
"Not everyone has the foresight to invest heavily or place their bet on an upstart guild." She smiled and handed him a hair dryer.
"You’re right, but those with foresight are people worthy of my attention." Having said that, he began to help dry her hair.
"Anyway, are you sure you have the ti to keep directing?"
"Why do you ask that? You want to shoo
away so you can have more steamy scenes with them? I’m sure you know by now, but many n in the crew are cursing at you daily."
"I don’t care for others’ opinions. My conscience is clear, and I’m only doing what it takes to have the short drama successful."
"Sure, but you can’t deny that the traffic and leaked clips have been trending as of late. So of them were even posted on the Divine World, with many now hating on Cool Wind for being such a scumbag."
Upon hearing that, Xu Feng was rendered speechless. As always, there were many people who couldn’t differentiate between drama and reality.
They thought an actor’s portrayal of a character was real and always cursed the actor for their excellent acting skill.
How many tis have these talented actors disappeared from the entertainnt industry because of their popular villain portrayals?

"The hairs’ dried up now. You should sleep early."

Carn smiled lightly when she watched Xu Feng slump to his bed and fall asleep instantaneously. ’You really need to take a good rest sotis, Guild Leader. The Guild is on the right track, so there’s no need for you to be so restless.’
She shook her head and retrieved her phone. There was a contact person identified as A, and she sent them a text.
Carn: Investigate Tess from the Green Life Corp. I want to know everything about her, whether it’s her private or public life. Dig out everything.
’I wonder what made her want to submit to our guild all of a sudden. It better be sincere, otherwise, don’t bla
for being ruthless.’ Carn’s eyes narrowed. She had been influenced by Xu Feng and understood that being softhearted would only cause her to suffer.
Rather than being the subject of suffering, she would rather be the subject of causing the suffering to others.
’I sure was foolish to leave the family back then because of those villains. But now that I returned and deceived my dear father, I’ll take back everything.’ Carn clenched her fist.

As morning arrived, Xu Feng woke up and found Carn sleeping soundly without any defenses.
"This Carn... I need to teach her to not share a room with anyone." He twitched his mouth and gently covered her long legs.
Had it been anyone else, then she might have long been devoured. There was no way he would allow his precious Demoness to suffer any injustices.
