Chapter 1181: Evelyn’s Arrival
As more and more reporters flocked toward the VIP Lounge, the airport security guards finally had enough.
"Stop crowding over here and leave the premises!" The leader of the security guards shouted.
At the current rate, a stampede might occur, and it would beco disastrous for the airport.
Not to ntion the danger it posed to the VIPs inside the lounge. Nothing could happen to them; otherwise, the airport or even the governnt would get involved.
In the end, he would be the person to be punished for failing his duty as the leader.
’I’m not going to be the pitfall guy. Your father didn’t rise to this position with no brain cells.’ The person sneered inwardly and proceeded to threaten to detain everyone.
With the threat of detainnt for causing distress and unpleasantness, the majority of the reporters dispersed.
Only those who hailed from big companies were allowed to stay.
After all, they couldn’t possibly evict everyone else, so a few had to remain. Not to ntion, even their city would be curious about the arrival of such a figure.
The Maleficent Limited was a company that held many influences across first graded cities.
Their power alone could easily cause the economy in lower graded cities to be in ruin.
"Wait, why are you guys trying to kick
out as well?" Amidst the dispersion, a man cried aloud when they were being escorted away.
"You don’t belong to the big dia companies." A security guard explained coolly. "For the safety of the VIPs and other personnel, you need to exit the premises."
"What gives?" Enraged, the man warned them to not try to touch his equipnt. "I’m OneMandia, responsible for Vanguard Guild’s dia. I was commanded by the Guild Leader to greet Evelyn here."
"I don’t care which dia you’re from. Never heard of them."
The security guard appeared annoyed and thought it was another small dia company trying to throw their weight around.
However, they never expected that his words had caused all the other reporters to stare at him.
Even those big dia companies’ reporters appeared hesitant and distanced themselves from him.
"OneMandia? Isn’t that the person in charge of Vanguard Guild’s dia?"
"Who else has such a unique userna?"
"I’ve seen his face before. Our company took great lengths to invite him. Every word he spouted was golden and could affect the Divine World."
In the blink of an eye, the nearby reporters prayed silently for the security guard’s crooked mouth.
What kind of foolish man would chase away a reporter representing the Vanguard Guild?

At this mont, the Divine News was repeatedly bombarded because of their recent stunt collaboration with Luther of Miracle Pavilion.
The two news anchors were reportedly suspended temporarily, and the company behind them had its stock price decrease substantially.
While the crowd of reporters beca amused by the situation, the leader of the security guard noticed sothing wasn’t right.
’Vanguard Guild... isn’t that the famous guild in Divine World? My daughter ntioned it to
before.’ His daughter’s attention wasn’t sothing Tom, Dick, and Harry could get. They had to be extraordinary for them to attract her attention.
"Let him stay and move to another section." He promptly ordered.
Startled, the security guard quickly composed himself and complied with the order. There had to be a reason why his leader made such a command.
"Eh, that’s it?" From afar, Huo Ninger frowned. "What happened to the good show?"
She had her popcorn ready to watch a face-slapping scenario. Yet the situation ended so fast and without any suspense.
In fact, it was so lukewarm and lackluster.
"Do you really think everyone is a buffoon? Stop reading too many novels and watching those brain-dead dramas!" Ling Qingxue warned.
"Tsk, not my fault that they are interesting." Huo Ninger shrugged.
While the two were conversing, inside the VIP Lounge, two won had erged alongside a number of bodyguards.
The reporters who wanted to approach them initially were all stunned by the pressure emitted by the bodyguards.
"Holy smokes... they’re all Energy Force experts!" A reporter exclaid in disbelief.
They had been covering the City Competition, so they had been graced with many Energy Force fighters. Thus, they were able to quickly identify the bodyguards who guarded the two won.
Besides them, the other reporters who also covered the segnts realized these bodyguards were way stronger than any contestant in the City Competition.
"My goodness... if they had such skills, then they would already be gods in Avalon City. But they are just bodyguards for these two won? Just what kind of identity do they have?"
"Good thing we obeyed the security guards and did not crowd the area. If we offend them, then we’re dead at."
As the reporters sweated profusely and were relieved that they kept their distance, the two won held no interest in them.
Needless to say, the two won were none other than Evelyn and her secretary, Diana. After a long journey, they had finally arrived at Avalon City from their first-graded city.
"Where is the Vanguard Guild’s headquarters?" Evelyn turned to Diana and asked.
"Uh... I’m not sure either." Diana smiled bitterly in response. "The Vanguard Guild didn’t have any actual footprints in the real world, so we can only trace them from the posts they gave."
Although the Vanguard Guild’s influence in the Divine World was terrifying, the real world was still a bit lacking. It wasn’t that they weren’t feared in the real world, but they lacked a proper building that operated and represented the Vanguard Guild.
"Are you trying to make fun of , Diana?" Unamused by her lack of intel, Evelyn’s eyes narrowed in a cold light. She didn’t co all the way here for a re casting process.
Diana panicked internally, her eyes darting elsewhere to try to think of a solution on the spot.
It was then that she suddenly paused at a figure.
’Wait a second... that man over there. Isn’t he Wei Xing from the Vanguard Guild?’ Diana exclaid inwardly in joy. She was saved!
