Chapter 1062: Warden of the Shard
lora was startled to see that there was actually sothing behind her this ti.
She wanted to flee, but Xu Feng had already anticipated her action.
Right when lora turned around to check on the hydro cannons, he already finished casting his real chaining spells.
Taken by surprise, lora hissed, "You’re a real coward. Deceptive and vile. How can such a person be the prophesied Sea Traveler?"
"Didn’t you deny my existence earlier?" Xu Feng spread his arms and tilted his head. "Since you deny my status, why should I play fair with you?"

Silence, lora couldn’t even respond properly to that statent when the hydro cannons already blasted her back.

lora only had 4,200,000 health points, but that one attack took a large chunk of her health. This too despite having insane defense attributes!
lora wobbled a bit, her eyes turning sowhat hazy from the impact. Her stone back was starting to show signs of crumbling.
Moreover, the effect of the Sea Heart Shard seed to be losing its potency.
"How is this possible?" She questioned in disbelief. The Sea Heart Shard was very powerful. It was impossible for its potency to suddenly falter and lose its effect.
"What did you do?" She then glared at Xu Feng, who was clearly the culprit.
"I didn’t do anything." Xu Feng scratched his head in confusion. He naturally noticed the light from the shard was gradually turning dim. But he couldn’t understand the reason behind it either.
After all, he was new to this Phantasm lore and whatnot. The only reason he baited lora out of her platform was to test if she could leave the battlefield of her own will.
Intelligent enemies were unlike those without intelligence who could only remain in their stationed habitat or base. The forr was capable of exiting and roaming around outside of their base, but the latter couldn’t do it.
The unintelligent monsters were like a bunch of programd code, designed to stay in their fixed radius. And once they exit their fixed radius to chase an enemy for a certain ti, they must return imdiately. Otherwise, they would be wiped out from existence.
"You really are the bane of our Siren’s race!" lora lost her rationality and began to enter berserk mode.
"The heck?" Dumbfounded, Xu Feng couldn’t help but curse the system design. The boss had only dropped by like 12% and still had around 88% health points left.
Why in the world would they suddenly enter berserk mode ant for those with 10% health points remaining as a final stance to confront the players?
Despite the confusion, Xu Feng didn’t dare to idle around and wait to find out her berserk power.
There was a ti when he could stick around to identify the enemy’s move and there was a ti when he needed to run away.
Right now, this was the ti when he truly needed to tug his tail and run.
Taking advantage of lora being immobile for the berserk power-up, Xu Feng teleported across the other side and continued to bombard her with hydro cannons once the cooldown was over.

"Prophesized Sea Traveler, prepare for your death!" She bellowed and charged ahead.
With trendous pressure, Xu Feng had no choice but to halt his retreat and stare at lora.
Although he put up so barriers, he knew it was just for show. Against a berserk enemy at such a caliber, the barrier wouldn’t do anything.
A few trident spear projections started to float above lora’s head.
When counted together, it was a total of 5 trident spears.
Xu Feng’s brows furrowed as he watched each of the spears launched toward him. He kept his eyes wide open to micro and macro dodge the spears.
However, lora didn’t seem to hold any intention to drag the battle out any longer. Following the 5 trident spears attack, she also blinked away and erged in front of him.
She didn’t erge from behind because the hydro cannons from the warship were still sothing she was wary of.
And by making sure Xu Feng stayed in front of her, she wanted to see if he would dare to activate the hydro cannons and shoot himself in the process.
"Go on, shoot your little cannons." lora snickered coldly. She was descending into the taunting level after being trolled repeatedly by Xu Feng.
Xu Feng smiled awkwardly and glanced around. "Cannons? There are cannons here. Where is it?"
"In your grave there is." Unfazed by his ignorance act, lora extended her palm, channeling in the Sea Heart Shard power.
Alerted, Xu Feng quickly used Phantom Step to distance their gaps.
Unfortunately, he was locked down by lora’s aura, and the energy she channeled beca binding. It was water chains, acting like a slithering snake that wrapped around his every limb.
The feeling of being strangled by water was very weird.
"I, lora, Warden of the Shard in this sacred place, shall now condemn the intruder to execution." lora declared, her eyes flashed with viciousness.
Xu Feng eyed her action of swinging her large trident spear from a downward angle of 40 degrees.
He wanted to destroy the water chain to free himself but was unable to. The chains were too strong and he was too weak in terms of strength to confront lora directly.
’Screw it, I’ll just blast her with hydro cannons and end myself first.’ Xu Feng made up his mind.
As the hydro cannons cooldown was done, he was about to comnce the operation when suddenly, a sharp cry echoed from the warship.
"Burpe?"
Startled, Xu Feng spotted Burpe appearing and approaching lora.
