Chapter 1049: A Reaction

"The Reave Town wants peace?" Upon hearing Veronica’s words, Carn appeared to be taken aback.

"Do they take us for so spineless guild or what?" She continued, clearly disgusted and disdainful toward the Reaver Gild. Actually no, it was more precise to say the dogs of Illuminati.

"It’s not exactly Reave Town, but the Illuminati." Veronica corrected.

"Eh, it’s them?" Startled, Carn beca even more confused. The Illuminati was the main culprit for the Reave Town to target them in the first place.

So why in the world would they suddenly initiate a peace talk?

Seeing her expression, Veronica was certain that Carn had forgotten about the scandal.

"Did you not rember the posts made by us regarding Natasha of Illuminati?" Veronica said, hoping it would jolt her mories up.

Sure enough, Carn’s eyes widened when she recalled the na Natasha.

"Right, that spy ca to our town to check out the Training Hall." She clasped her hands.

"Mhmm, I bet she’s the one who pushed for the peace talk." Veronica snickered coldly. "Anyone who experienced the training hall beca an addict. Just take a look at our own guild mbers. They are so loyal now that they would be willing to do any task just for a chance to enter the training hall."

"They’re practically zombies." Carn chid in and gave her input regarding their current guild mbers.

Even she was sotis dumbfounded when so of the mbers approached her and pleaded to get a chance to enter the training hall.

When she said so, she ant the majority. This was the reason why she was in Veronica’s office, to begin with. Firstly, it was to chat with her friend, and secondly, she was avoiding the mbers from flocking to her.

Since Veronica was no different than the Guild Leader in the eyes of many due to her authority, no mbers were foolish enough to attempt to disturb her or enter her office.

"Anyway, I’ll have to ssage the Guild Leader about this peace talk," Veronica said and began typing out the ssages. This was sothing out of her authority, and she didn’t want to make a decision without discussing it with Xu Feng.

"Alright, you do that while I explore deeper in the Twilight Glades region." Carn stood up and bid her farewell. Despite no longer working in the real world, they sohow found themselves to be even more busy than ever.

Watching Carn leave, Veronica received a response. As she read the ssage, her eyes lit up.

Lin Feng: Delay the peace talk until my return. For now, they are free to enter the town and use its facility, but in the training hall, they can forget about it. The Vanguard Chamber of Comrce isn’t open to those hostile to us.

’Now this is why I called the Guild Leader amazing.’ Veronica thought to herself. Her Guild Leader was never soone to bend for anyone else.

Treat him well, and he shall repay with gratitude.

Treat him badly, and he shall repay it with double the grievance and vengeance.

While Veronica was ready for another eting to further promote the town’s revenue, back at the Phantasm Sea, Xu Feng was having a blast.

Boom!

One after another, there were multiple booms scattered across the sea.

"I’ve lost count of the number." Xu Feng muttered after killing another round of sea monsters.

Throughout his sea journey, Xu Feng fired the hydro cannons a large number of tis. His level also began to stabilize around the 48s. Despite the sowhat stabilization, his experience bar was still steadily increasing.

He wasn’t aimlessly killing sea monsters for experience points.

Instead, he was trying to find the components to craft the Siren’s Compass.

He already had a handful of components, and Xu Feng dreaded the ti he finished collecting every one of them.

"My inventory is about to be full." Never once had his vast inventory space experienced the crisis of not having enough to store items. He expanded them during the early phase, but the sea adventure literally gave so much loot.

It was the first ti that he might actually complain about having so much and not having the ones that he wanted.

Of course, that was just him being gleeful.

Just when Xu Feng was about to turn the ship to continue on another path, he heard a different beeping sound.

His body jolted slightly, and his eyes quickly darted to the navigation panel, the one where the Phantasm Map was placed.

"A reaction!" After sailing for so long, there were finally so clues to sothing critical.

Excited, Xu Feng hurriedly turned up the ship’s knot and rotated the steering wheel to the right.

Ti quickly went by, and his experience bar increased once again. In this instance, a system prompt suddenly appeared.

System Notification: You have discovered a sea tomb dungeon! A ship is required to enter the dungeon. Do you wish to enter? Y/N

"A sea tomb dungeon huh." Xu Feng stroked his chin softly. It appeared that the Phantasm Map could detect dungeons for him to explore.

Or maybe these were the dungeons left behind or discovered by the cartographer in the past.

’Let’s see what dungeon this is?’ Xu Feng tried to search for the prompt that indicated the level requirent and the na of the dungeon. Unfortunately, after searching for a while, there were no such prompts.

It was as if the Divine World was trying to tell him that the dungeon was aligned with the mysteriousness of the Phantasm Sea.

"So it’s telling

to go in blind huh." His brows furrowed slightly.

As he hesitated for a while, Xu Feng glanced at the Phantasm Map that was still glowing brightly at his current location.

Left without a choice, he clenched his fist and decided to enter the unknown sea dungeon.

The mont he pressed "Yes" to enter and sailed his ship into the darkness, a system prompt appeared.

System Notification: You have chosen to enter the sea-based dungeon, Phantasm Sea Legacy Part 3 of 7!
