Chapter 1013: Haven Wind Town’s Grand Opening

A few days had gone by since Xu Feng upgraded his Energy Force and returned to the Divine World.

The city competition was still being held daily, but he no longer bothered to show up.

Allison would relay the current news to him once she learned about it from her uncle. Moreover, she had probably sensed that he was too busy with the Divine World to be splitting his attention elsewhere.

Of course, there was still a price to pay. And that was in the next week, Xu Feng had to return to Kingston School--not as a student, but as a guest lecturer, which was a whole different status.

He didn’t graduate and dropped out instead. Yet he beca soone who the other students needed to sit in the large classroom and listen to him.

Wasn’t life just full of irony?

Soti later, Xu Feng entered the Divine World and was instantly bombarded with multiple ssages.

So of these ssages ca from the other cooperated guilds before, and most of them ca from Veronica, Crimson Heart, and Carn.

Without needing to open them, he was certain what the content was about.

’The Reaver Guild is really going all in.’ Amused, Xu Feng read the ssages and flashed a sly grin. Overall, the guild had lost about 20% of its regular mbers and the revenue had dropped by approximately 60%.

The reason for the heavy revenue drop was that most players were migrating to Reaver Guild’s town, Reave Town at Bilgewater. Considering that the region in Bilgewater was high-level, the Reaver Guild actually decided to lower the cost of everything to benefit players.

Not only could players grind and gain level fast, but they could also pay less for more gain.

With such benefits, why wouldn’t the players flock toward Reave Town en masses?

Hence, the revenue of the guild took a nosedive, and the 20% of mbers being poached was thanks to Reaver Guild putting a ban list on all Vanguard Guild mbers.

However, as long as a mber quit the guild, they were welco to the town at a 50% discounted entry fee.

These collective moveset done by the Reaver Guild had effectively dampened the hell out of the Vanguard Guild in a fast and efficient manner.

Many players were also fence-sitters, the type to go along with the beneficial flow.

Shaking his head, Xu Feng arrived at Haven Wind Town, much to everyone’s delight.

"What should we do now, Guild Leader?" Veronica was the first to question. "Crimson Heart finished the items you gave her, but the supplies are limited."

Crimson Heart nodded in agreent. "I’ve had so people investigate the items in the shops that the Reaver Guild operated. Their items are no worse than us and are being sold at dirt cheap prices."

"Besides the financial loss, the Reaver Guild even placed a bounty on our mbers." Carn suddenly chid in and explained, "Our mbers suffered heavy casualties under the onslaught of nurous players. Even though I tried to save them, these people seed to be tracking my location constantly to avoid confronting ."

Having said so, Carn was beyond frustrated. Although it was nice that everyone avoided her like a plague, it also caused an inevitable situation.

Despite her Void Portal being able to traverse long distances in a short span of ti, the enemy’s number counts were far too high. The mont they spotted her, they would transmit the news to others, prompting them to either reposition or escape entirely.

Just like that, Carn would always arrive at the scene when everything was over. She might have saved the Vanguard Guild mbers from being overwheld or killed, but she wasn’t able to catch any of the culprits.

This kind of battle of attrition was the most frustrating and annoying part.

Once the three won finished speaking their parts, the silent Xu Feng simply raised his hand. He gestured for them to calm their emotions.

"It’s not the end of the world yet." He jokingly said. "The Reaver Guild attacking us in such a direct manner ans they found a big thigh to latch on. But just because one found a big thigh doesn’t an that thigh is big enough to cover the sky for them."

At this mont, the three won suddenly sensed a dreadful pressure coming from Xu Feng.

They all ca to a realization that out of everyone, he was probably the most infuriated one. Despite this, he managed to remain calm and appeared quite nonchalant.

"My bad, I didn’t an to intimidate you all." As if realizing his accidental leak of pressure, Xu Feng hurriedly returned to normal.

"Anyway, it’s ti for us to counterattack after being on the receiving end for so long." He then said with a confident tone.

"Guild Leader, you an it’s ti?" Excited, Veronica was the first to respond. After all, she was placed on administrative duties and understood that Haven Wind Town was their greatest chip at the mont.

Turning his attention to her, Xu Feng simply smiled and nodded.

"Great. I’ll get it started then." Veronica clasped her hands and fled in an instant. It was clear that she had long instructed about the procedure and was waiting for this day.

While Veronica left in haste, Xu Feng proceeded to shift toward Crimson Heart.

"Crimson Heart, you can continue crafting and pick a few Profession Players that you believe have potential. If they agree to sign the contract, then they can start learning the blueprints." He declared.

"Got it!" Crimson Heart received the command and left as well.

"As for you..." Xu Feng’s attention finally landed on Carn. He held a wicked grin. "Forget about protecting the mbers. Just go wild and unleash your terror."

"I’ve been waiting for that command." Carn’s mouth curled upward as she clenched her fist tightly. Being in the defensive was never as thrilling as opposed to being in the offensive where she could wreak havoc wherever she went without any direction.

With all that being said, the news quickly circulated to all sorts of channels.
