"Isaac Abraham?"
Penelope nodded. Currently, the woman was at the Askary mansion with Edmund, Edgar, and Sarah. Helios Rune Abelavish had already returned to the De Louis imperial palace as the man would be staying there as long as he was in the De Louis empire. At first, Helios wanted to co to Askary’s mansion because he still wanted to be with Penelope. However, because Edmund threatened him, Jeremy finally managed to drag his master back to the De Louis imperial palace and promised to bring him to et Penelope again the next day.
"Do you rember that jerk, Penny?" Ethan asked again. The man snorted in annoyance and drank his tea. He had read the letter Edmund had sent him and he was in a very bad mood when he found out that his little sister would be staying at Gerwyn’s mansion. Because his parents weren’t at the mansion at the mont, his Father didn’t know about Penelope’s plan. If his Father knew, Ethan was sure he would not allow Penelope to stay at Gerwyn’s mansion while his Mother would definitely allow that. The woman really liked Edmund and could not wait to be called Mother by Edmund. It sucks, doesn’t it?
"Brother Ethan rember it all this ti?" Penelope asked back. She glanced at Edmund whose expression was already very frightening right now. The woman swallowed hard and held Edmund’s hand tightly so that the man would not be overco by the anger inside him.
"How could I forget the man who always bullied you since you were little and pushed you until you fell from a tree?" Ethan snorted. "If I rember that incident, I always wanted to go to Abraham’s mansion and kill him with my own two hands! Don’t you know that you were unconscious for almost a month, Penny? You have a pretty serious wound on your head. On your waist, if I rember correctly, there was a scar. When you finally woke up a month later, you didn’t rember us."
Not only Penelope, but Edmund too blinked in surprise. Both of their mouths opened wide at hearing this information. Edmund and Penelope looked at each other, then looked at Ethan, who raised an eyebrow.
"Why do you two look shocked like that?" asked Ethan in a confused tone.
"Of course, I was shocked. I didn’t know Penny had amnesia when she was little," Edmund answered with a snort. Penelope nodded in agreent with Edmund’s words.
"I also don’t know if I ever had amnesia. I don’t rember it." Penelope frowned. She tried to rember if the original novel ever ntioned Penelope had amnesia. But, no matter how hard Penelope tried to rember, she had never read such information. She was just a possessor, who ca from another world. Even though she is another piece of Penelope Askary’s soul, which was brought directly by Goddess Elleia to replace Penelope Askary’s lost soul, Penelope Askary has no mory of this. She had just rembered the mories of when she was pushed down from a tree but there was no mory of her waking up in an amnesiac state.
Ethan laughed when he heard his little sister’s words. Even though she’s grown up like this, Penelope is still as adorable as when she was little. That woman was really innocent and her innocence was used by Edmund Gerwyn so that Penelope is currently pregnant with his child. Ugh!
"Penny, you had amnesia. Of course, you won’t rember that. Do you have any idea how desperate Mother and Father were to help you rember us? You beco so quiet because you can’t recognize anyone. It took us a week to get you to open up to us. That’s why you also don’t rember being close friends with Duke Edmund."
For the second ti, Penelope and Edmund blinked.
"Huh?" Penelope pointed at herself and looked at Edmund. Edmund also looked at the woman with a confused look while frowning. "Ed and I were close friends when we were kids?"
"Yes," nodded Ethan. "That annoying guy always cos to this mansion to see you. He even proposed to you when he t you for the first ti. I presu you were five years old then and Duke Edmund was seven just like . Duke Edmund’s parents were Mother and Father’s best friends, Penny." Ethan raised an eyebrow when he saw Edmund’s reaction. The man crossed his arms. "Don’t tell you also forgot about your friendship with Penny when you were kids?"
Edmund nodded. "I... don’t rember anything about that."
"Do you have amnesia too?" sneered Ethan. He waved a hand. "Just forget it. I still rember you always monopolize Penny from if you play here. Then, two months after Penny developed amnesia, you and your family left. I heard that your family has urgent matters to attend to in the area of your grandparents, your Father’s parents. After that, I don’t know anything else about you except the news about your parents, who died in an accident. You seem to have disappeared from the world. You began to be known by the people of the empire because of your achievents in always winning the wars carried out by the De Louis empire and because of your cruelty on the battlefield. When you and Penny t again, both of you hated each other. You also almost killed my little sister several tis." Ethan snorted. He pointed at Edmund’s face which looked pale. "So, now you understand why I didn’t allow you to marry my little sister even though she was pregnant with your child, right? How could I want to see Penny marry a man who always wants to kill her and hates her?"
"But, I—"
"Enough," said Penelope, cutting off Edmund, who looked guilty. She wrapped her arms around Edmund’s arm and stared at Ethan. "Brother Ethan can’t keep blaming Ed and cornering him like this. He will be my husband. Brother must learn to respect him. If Brother Ethan continues to act like this toward Ed, I will get angry and don’t want to talk to you anymore."
Ethan took a deep breath and raised his hands in the air. "All right, all right. I apologize. So, as for Isaac Abraham, why are you suddenly asking about that jerk?"
Penelope scratched her cheek which didn’t itch. "Err... I had a vision, Brother. I had already told Ed about my two powers which I got from Goddess Elleia and how I t Goddess Elleia when I suddenly disappeared from Gerwyn’s mansion at that ti, which made Ed go berserk because he was controlled by anger and darkness within him. Earlier, suddenly I saw myself being dragged by Isaac Abraham into the woods and I would be tortured there. Then, I was unconscious for a whole week, Brother."
"What’s the reason he did that to you? Do you know about it, Penny? Have you ever t him again?" Ethan asked.
Penelope shook her head. "I never t him again and never heard anything about him again, Brother. If it wasn’t for the vision I had from Goddess Elleia just now, maybe I would have forgotten about that man for the rest of my life."
"I’ll deal with him," said Edmund in a sharp tone. "I won’t let that man co near you, Honey. Whatever the reason he approached you again, he did it because he wanted to hurt you." Edmund looked at Ethan. "We have to increase the number of knights around Penny to protect her when you and I can’t be with her. What do you think?"
"Good idea," nodded Ethan.
"But don’t tell Mother and Father," Penelope said in a firm tone, shaking her head. "I don’t want to worry them."
"Chris!" Edmund summoned the shadow knight, who had always faithfully followed him to protect him and Penelope. Chris appeared behind the sofa which Edmund and Penelope were sitting on. When Ethan raised an eyebrow, Penelope turned and smiled kindly while waving her hand to greet Chris.
"Greetings to Princess Penelope and Prince Ethan. May Elleia’s light always be with you." Chris bent down and looked at Edmund. "What should I do, Your Grace?"
"Keep an eye on Isaac Abraham, the second son of Marquess Abraham. Report to everything that man did. Who does he et, what does he talk to the other person, what plans does he have, even what he eats every day, and what ti he sleeps if it’s necessary. I want everything about that man reported to . Then, ask Jellal to be Princess Penelope’s protector."
"Alright, Your Grace." Chris nodded and disappeared. The room suddenly turned silent. Everyone thought about Isaac Abraham’s motives and plans to kidnap and torture Penelope.
On the other hand, Edmund is also thinking about sothing that is no less important than Isaac Abraham’s evil plan for Penelope. The man glanced at Penelope, who was answering so of Ethan’s questions. Edmund held his head and winced a little.
How could he forget the fact that he and Penelope Askary had been close friends when they were kids? Edmund didn’t want to sound arrogant but he was a man with a good mory. He can still rember all his childhood mories. However, only the mories of him and Penelope when they were little were not in those mories.

Penelope was taking a walk in the backyard of her family’s mansion to enjoy the breeze.
The woman smiled and closed her eyes. This wind made her mind clear again. She opened her eyes and walked back to the tree where she and Ethan used to play when they were kids. The sa tree when she was pushed from above by Isaac Abraham. She reached out and touched the tree trunk.
"So, Ed and I were close when we were kids?" Penelope muttered. "Maybe it was because of the amnesia the real Penelope Askary had that she couldn’t rember the bond between her and Edmund. But, what about Ed? Why did that man also forget his childhood mories with Penelope? What made him hate Penelope so much? I have to find out more about Edmund and Penelope’s relationship before I possess this body."
The sound of approaching footsteps made Penelope flinch. She turned her head and froze when she saw Philleo Aaron approaching her. Penelope actually wanted to run but her legs suddenly felt heavy. When Philleo was standing in front of her, Penelope gulped and looked up to et the purple eyes of the silver-haired man in front of her. Penelope had to look brave even though she was still traumatized by Philleo’s actions at that ti.
"My Lady," called Philleo in a gentle tone. The man smiled and imdiately knelt before Penelope. He looked down. "Forgive my impudence back then, My Lady. I... I don’t know what got into at that ti. I talk nonsense to My Lady. I made My Lady afraid and angry. At that ti, it seed I was having a lot on my mind. I’m stressed. Then, I wondered if My Lady was actually forced to accept Duke Edmund’s baby you were carrying. I think that My Lady is unhappy with Duke Edmund. So, instead of My Lady living a life that would make My Lady suffer, I ventured to propose to My Lady. Forgive , My Lady. Please, don’t hate . Don’t throw away."
Penelope froze as she saw the expression on Philleo’s face and gaze as he looked up. Philleo’s facial expression and the look in his eyes showed that the man was very sorry for what he had done. He feels guilty. Moreover, Philleo is now crying. Those purple eyes seed to shake. Penelope sighed. This was the Philleo Aaron she knew. The kind Philleo Aaron, not the scary Philleo Aaron, who looks like a psychopath, who has lost his mind.
"Sir Philleo, I have forgiven you," Penelope said. She stroked Philleo’s head, who was now blinking, and smiled in relief. "But, please don’t do sothing like that again. I don’t want to slap you anymore. I also don’t want Brother Ethan to punish you. If Father finds out about this, I’m sure he will fire you. If the way you feel about is true, then I thank you for having those feelings for . It’s just, I can’t accept it. I hope you understand, Sir Philleo. I love Duke Edmund and we are getting married soon. We will have children. And I don’t want you to beco my enemy or Ed’s enemy because of what you did. I want to be your friend, Sir Philleo."
Philleo nodded. "I am a fool, My Lady. I had made a big mistake and let my personal feelings get the better of . I swear I will never do that again in the future. So, when My Lady is married to Duke Edmund, can I accompany My Lady to live in Duke Edmund’s mansion and stay by My Lady’s side to protect My Lady?"
Penelope nodded and smiled. "Of course, you can do it. I’ll ask Ed to let you stay in his mansion with us. Now stand up, Sir Philleo."
Philleo stood as commanded by Penelope. Then, the woman reached out and rubbed Philleo’s cheek, who was slapped at that ti.
"It must have really hurt when I slapped you back then, didn’t it? Forgive ."
"That’s all right, My Lady," Philleo shook his head. "I really deserved it back then. Um, My Lady, if you allow , may I hug My Lady?"
"Of course. I already consider you as my own older brother. This hug will be a sign that we have resolved the misunderstanding that occurred back then." Penelope nodded and smiled broadly. Then, the woman wrapped her arms around Philleo’s neck while the man wrapped his arms around Penelope’s waist.
Hugging Penelope’s petite body, Philleo looked ahead and grinned. A dangerous grin that looks scary.
’Penelope Askary, it was so easy for you to fall into my trap. Just wait a little longer because I will make you mine.’ Philleo said inside his heart.
