"I think Ocean hates , Penny."
Penelope blinked and chuckled. She was reading a book while lying on the bed and leaning her back on the headboard. In front of her, Edmund was drying his hair with a towel and taking off his bathrobe. The Duke’s athletic body made Penelope’s gaze turn mischievous and she got off the bed. Penelope approached Edmund, then hugged him from behind and kissed his back. Edmund turned his head around and raised an eyebrow. His sad face made Penelope laugh again.
"You look adorable like a big dog being scolded by its master," chuckled Penelope. The woman turned Edmund’s body to face her and wrapped her arms around the Duke’s neck. "Ed, Ocean doesn’t hate you."
"But, she kicked and hit . She also threw when she was still in your womb with her magic, right?"
"You silly man." Penelope stood on her tiptoes and kissed Edmund on the lips. "Ocean is only annoyed that you scolded Sir Edgar while she was playing with that man. Ed, rember that our children are special. They seed to be able to understand what was happening around them. This was proven when they were still in my womb, right? They threw you because they thought you had hurt my heart. Maybe it’s because they received blessings directly from Goddess Elleia."
Edmund hugged Penelope’s waist and hid his face in her neck.
"But, why is she mad at ? Isn’t it natural that I don’t want my daughter to be closer to other people, especially n, because I am her Father? I want Ocean to only be close to and depend on ."
Penelope shook her head in amusent and stroked Edmund’s hair gently. "Are you jealous?"
"Am I wrong if I’m jealous?" Edmund asked back. He lifted his face from Penelope’s neck and looked at his wife with a serious look. "Should I consider firing Edgar?"
Penelope snorted. "I’d be mad at you if you did sothing like that, Edmund Gerwyn," Penelope grumbled. She flicked Edmund’s forehead then returned to the bed. Her golden eyes glanced at Edmund, who was pouting while wearing his clothes. "By the way, Ed, I want to practice swordsmanship."
Those words made Edmund stop what he was doing and frowned at Penelope. "What do you an?"
"I want to practice swordsmanship so I can attack my enemies and protect myself," Penelope said in a firm tone. "I don’t want to be a burden to you and the others, Ed."
"What are you talking about? Who said that you are a burden to ?" asked Edmund in an annoyed tone. He approached the bed and climbed onto the bed. The man lay down and pulled Penelope to lie down with him. The Duke hugged Penelope’s petite body and kissed her forehead. "You’re not a burden to , Penny. Let protect you. If I can’t protect you and our children, what use am I in this world?"
"But, Ed," Penelope whined. She looked up in Edmund’s arms so she could et her husband’s blue eyes that reminded Penelope of the sea. "I still want to practice swords! Please, allow to do that. I want to be a strong woman, who can support you in battle. Hmm? Please?"
Edmund groaned in frustration and closed his eyes. The man knew he would not be able to refuse Penelope Askary’s wishes and requests. This woman is downright scary. She used Edmund’s weakness very well.
"Who are you going to train with?" asked Edmund.
Penelope blinked and she smiled broadly. "Actually, I want you to train . But, I knew you wouldn’t train seriously. You’ll just gently train and I won’t improve if I train that way."
Edmund clicked his tongue. His wife could read his mind very clearly.
"I want to practice with Sir Edgar and Chris," Penelope said.
"Edgar, again?"
Penelope nodded. "Sir Edgar’s sword skills are excellent. So does Chris because he is your shadow knight. So, I should be able to master swordsmanship in no ti if I train with them. Maybe, I’ll also ask Brother Ethan to teach so of the sword techniques he knows."
"All right," said Edmund with a sigh. The man gave up. "But, if I find out that you’re injured even if it’s only a small wound, I will imdiately forbid you from continuing with your sword practice. Do you understand?"
Penelope imdiately scread happily and hugged Edmund’s body. The woman also kissed Edmund’s lips repeatedly and rested her head on Edmund’s warm chest. Edmund stared out the window of their bedroom with a flat look.
’I’m going to make your training sessions hell, Edgar. You have dared to grab the attention of my wife and my daughter,’ Edmund growled in his heart.
Elsewhere, Edgar, who was having dinner with the other knights, got goosebumps and sneezed. He imdiately hugged his own body which was shivering for so reason.
"Edgar? What’s wrong with you?" asked Jas, Edgar’s roommate. "Did you catch a cold?"
Edgar paled and shook his head. "I think soone is going to kill ," he said in a low voice.

"With all due respect, Duchess."
Penelope Askary tried her best to hold back her laughter. Currently, Penelope and Edgar are in the backyard of Gerwyn’s mansion. As Penelope wished, she would practice swords with Edgar. Raven and Ocean were watching her beside a pretty pink-leafed tree and watched over by Sarah and Rosaline, a female knight belonging to the Askary family, who happened to be playing at Gerwyn’s mansion to et the twins.
"Yes, Sir Edgar?" Penelope asked in an amused tone. Penelope’s blue hair was tied in a single bun and the woman borrowed Rosaline’s female knight outfit.
"Do you have a hidden grudge against that you want to kill ?" asked Edgar pitifully.
"I don’t understand what you an, Sir Edgar. I’m only asking for your help to train . Can that be called wanting to kill you?"
Edgar took a deep breath and looked down. Even from where he was right now, Edgar could feel the aura and murderous gaze that was being sent by Edmund Gerwyn. Without even turning his head around, Edgar knew that Edmund was behind him and was poking a hole in his back with his super-sharp gaze.
"Perhaps, this will be the first and last opportunity for to train the Duchess. It is an honor for , Duchess."
Penelope couldn’t hold it in any longer. She laughed out loud and ruffled Edgar’s hair. The woman took a deep breath and cleared her throat, then looked straight ahead. "Edmund Gerwyn, get out of here right now! If you’re not, I will run away from ho with the twins!"
Hearing that, Edmund blinked and his mouth opened wide. Waving goodbye to Penelope and the twins, the Duke left the scene. The man’s head was bowed, making him look adorable.
"Have you cald down now, Sir Edgar? I have succeeded in kicking the person who will kill you out of this place," Penelope chuckled.
Edgar looked at Penelope and tilted his head. "But, Duchess... I agree with the Duke. Why did the Duchess have to practice swordsmanship to protect herself? The Duchess has the Duke by your side as well as knights with excellent abilities. They should be able to protect the Duchess as well as the Prince and Princess."
Penelope smiled and took out her sword. "Just teach . How about we start now?"
Edgar taught Penelope basic techniques in swordsmanship. He also teaches Penelope how to attack properly and how to protect herself from enemy attacks. Half an hour had passed and Penelope felt pain all over her body. The woman fell to her knees and wiped the sweat off her pretty face.
"Are you all right, Duchess?" asked Edgar in a worried tone. He turned his head around when he realized Sarah was running toward them and knelt beside Penelope. Sarah wiped the sweat off Penelope’s face and smiled broadly.
"You are truly magnificent, My Lady! I’m sure Prince Raven and Princess Ocean would be proud to have a Mother as powerful and great as My Lady!" Sarah exclaid excitedly. Hearing that, Penelope laughed. She looked up to stare at Edgar.
"I’m all right, Sir Edgar. I’m going to rest for a while."
Edgar nodded and helped Penelope to her feet. Then, the man said he would return to the knight’s barracks in a bit to take care of sothing. Penelope asked Sarah to return to look after the twins and invite the twins to play. After that, Penelope walked toward a large tree in other places that had golden leaves. The woman sat under a tree and leaned her back against the tree trunk. She didn’t want to rest near the twins because she didn’t want her children to be bothered by the sll of her sweat.
While enjoying the strong afternoon breeze, Penelope felt sothing was wrong. The sunlight that she could still feel on her face suddenly disappeared. It was as if a huge shadow was covering her. When Penelope brought up the two eyes she had closed earlier, those golden eyes widened. Right in front of her, a person she had not seen in nine months, who had simply disappeared after nearly killing her and the twins, stood tall. That person was wearing a black robe to cover up his identity. His silver hair had grown long and that eerie smile was still the sa as the last ti Penelope had seen him.
"Hello, my Penelope."
The greeting made Penelope flinch and stand up. She instantly took a step back and created so distance. Penelope took her sword and pointed it at Philleo Aaron’s handso face. The man’s purple eyes were full of longing. The man looked at her with adoring eyes, much to Penelope’s disgust.
"What are you doing here, Philleo Aaron?" Penelope asked in a sharp tone. The woman growled. "How did you get into this mansion?!"
"I have magic powers, Honey. Did you forget about that?" Phileo smiled. Then, he turned his head around and his purple eyes stared at the baby carriage that was in the distance. "It turns out that you have given birth to twins, my Penelope. I saw them earlier. They are handso and beautiful children. They have unique eyes. But, I really hate your baby boy. He looks a lot like Edmund Gerwyn!" Philleo growled. The man then looked at Penelope and tilted his head. Philleo grinned eerily. "But, I like your baby girl, my dear Penelope. She looks a lot like you. I really want to have her."
"Philleo Aaron!" Penelope growled. "Shut your mouth or I will hurt you! Don’t you dare touch Ocean!"
"Oh? So her na is Ocean. A beautiful na, as beautiful as her face and yours," chuckled Philleo. "What if I gave you a choice, Penelope? If you don’t want to be mine, then I will take Ocean Gerwyn and make her mine in your stead. How about that? What will you choose?"
