Elise and Lynn ca out of the bushes, making the two people dragging gan gasp.
“Relax, Vin, Diana,” Lynn spoke while raising her hands. “We’re on your side. You two have gan tied up. That ans you’re not her ally, right?”

“Lynn is trustworthy, Vin.” The light brown-haired woman explained. “It’s been four years I’ve been a mber of the town patrol squad with her. She is one of the best.”
“I see.” The man with the thin beard nodded. “I trust you. It was you who said that sothing was wrong with this traitor.”
gan growled at being gagged, and Diana slapped her. “Shut up, old lady!”
“Follow us.” Lynn nodded her head in the direction of her hiding place.
Once there, Vin threw gan to the ground so violently, right in front of Rupert.

gan tried to retort, but Lynn sat on her stomach and started beating her.

gan turned her head as Diana shoved a piece of jerky into her mouth. Since her body was tied to a tree, the forr leader couldn’t do that herself.
“You don’t want to eat?” Diana put the jerky in her mouth, then licked her fingers. “Okay, then.”
“You really don’t know anything else about that dress-worshiping society?” Yua sighed. She had interrogated gan for hours but to no avail.
“Maybe this ti I should pluck your toenails?” Lynn touched gan’s hand. The forr leader’s fingers were already bleeding.
“Please, no…” gan moaned with tears in her eyes. “I’m tired of being here, naked for months, constantly fighting for nothing. That’s really my motivation to join them.”
