He exhaled softly and turned to face her.

"Is there sothing you want?" Rowan asked. "Are you... okay where you are?"

"I’m fine here," Elian replied quietly. "Please."

Rowan rubbed his forehead. "I’d like a bit of space. Just for a while."

There was a brief silence.

"If that’s what you want," Elian said.

She turned and walked out of the room, closing the door gently behind her.

Rowan let out a long breath.

"Ah... what the hell," he muttered. "This is getting ssy."

It’s only a matter of ti, Rowan thought. I just have to hope trouble doesn’t co knocking, at least for now.

He remained in his room, lying still, letting his body rest.

Then.

Knock. Knock.

Rowan opened his eyes.

The door opened before he could answer.

It was Voli.

Rowan blinked. Why is he here?

For a mont, neither of them spoke.

Voli stepped closer, his sharp eyes scanning Rowan. "I just wanted to check up on you."

Rowan sat up slowly. "Is there sothing you want to know?"

Voli chuckled lightly. "Straight to the point, huh?" He paused, then smiled. "Your father told you’re six years old."

Rowan didn’t react.

"But honestly," Voli continued, "you’re far too sharp for your age."

Rowan stayed silent, watching him.

"I won’t waste ti," Voli said. "Your father told you have an affinity for all elents."

The room went quiet.

"That alone is incredible," Voli went on. "You’re already using ice naturally, which ans forming fire will be easy for you. And if this continues..."

He smiled, clearly excited.

"You might be the first in history capable of wielding all five elents."

Rowan nodded once. "Sounds fine."

Voli laughed. "Good. Then let’s not waste ti." He turned toward the door. "Let’s go outside. Just a little live training."

Rowan stood and followed him.

As they stepped out, Rowan noticed Elian standing just outside the room. She looked up the mont he appeared.

Their eyes t briefly.

Rowan said nothing and walked past her alongside Voli, heading outside.

Elian remained there, watching them go.

Rowan stood facing Voli.

"You’re already capable of using ice," Voli said calmly. "So now, create sothing with ice, on your palm."

Rowan nodded.

He raised his hand and guided mana into his palm. Cold gathered, condensed, and...

An ice sphere ford, resting neatly in his hand.

Voli’s eyes widened. "Amazing. Outstanding."

He walked a slow circle around Rowan. "You already know how to channel mana through a single pathway, your arm. That’s sothing most people struggle with for years."

Voli stopped in front of him. "If you truly possess a fire affinity..." He smiled faintly. "Then learning fire will be easy."

"Do the sa thing," Voli instructed. "Pour mana into your palm. But this ti, erase the image of ice."

He tapped his chest. "Imagine heat. Pressure. The burning sensation. Rember what fire feels like."

Rowan stretched his palm forward and closed his eyes.

Mana flowed.

He wiped away every trace of cold from his thoughts.

Heat.

Ignition.

Fla.

Rowan opened his eyes.

A blue fla danced above his palm.

For a mont, no one spoke.

Voli stared. "...A blue fla. On your first attempt."

He let out a low breath. "Truly incredible. Your mana control is far beyond normal."

He looked at Rowan seriously. "Tell , do you intend to walk the path of an adventurer?"

Rowan tilted his head. "Why do you ask?"

"With this level of control," Voli said, "you could beco a mage of the highest class."

Rowan remained silent.

Then a familiar voice spoke from behind them.

"Oh no," Aldwin said as he stepped forward. "He won’t be a mage."

Both Rowan and Voli turned.

"He’ll follow the path of the sword."Aldwin continued calmly. "Whether he reaches that level or not, I can’t say yet. But one thing is certain."

His eyes sharpened as he looked at Rowan.

"He might bear the blessing of the Sword God."

Voli frowned. "You’re sure?"

Aldwin nodded. "That blessing doesn’t appear without reason."

Voli exhaled slowly. "Then the Royal Academy is the right place for him."

He glanced back at Rowan. "Whether swordsman or Sword God, one thing is clear."

A faint smile crossed his face.

"He’s already extraordinary."

Aldwin folded his arms, his expression calm but firm.

"Yes. He is capable of creating ice spear," Aldwin said. "Rowan is my son. And he’s extraordinarily talented."

Voli narrowed his eyes slightly, listening.

"I believe it’s because of both and my wife," Aldwin continued. "My wife possesses one of the highest affinities, healing magic. Her mana capacity is abnormally large. As for ..."

His gaze sharpened.

"I carry the blessing of the Sword God."

Voli’s breath slowed.

"Rowan inherited both," Aldwin said. "High mana reserves at a young age, refined control, and an instinctive understanding of the sword. At six years old, that level of mana alone is unheard of."

Voli hesitated, then frowned. "But earlier, you said sothing strange."

Aldwin glanced at him. "Strange?"

"You said Ice Spear," Voli replied. "But what I saw was just an ice sphere, sothing basic. A simple construct."

Aldwin smiled faintly.

"He can do more than that."

Voli shook his head. "That’s hard to believe. Ice Spear is not sothing a child casually forms."

Rowan stood quietly, listening.

I didn’t want to reveal this yet, he thought. But people close to will notice sooner or later.

Aldwin continued, unbothered. "Back then, he created a giant ice spear. Now, he restrains himself. Smaller constructs, an ice spear, an ice axe. Nothing excessive."

Voli stared at Rowan again. "...You’re serious?"

Rowan nodded once. "Yes."

Silence followed.

Voli exhaled slowly. "Even so, talent doesn’t an mastery. I use a sword too, despite lacking any sword blessing."

Aldwin chuckled. "True. But at his age?"

His voice grew confident.

"In pure sword handling, Rowan could already match you."

Voli blinked. "That’s... excessive praise."

"I’m not exaggerating," Aldwin replied. "You’re skilled for soone without a sword blessing. But he’s six. And he’s only just begun."
