"Today, I will end you. When you die, the blessings will disappear. And this world will finally return to balance."

Moonbeam’s aura exploded.

Dark energy poured out of him—violent, unstable.

The ground beneath his feet cracked as his mana surged far beyond its limits.

His human half-face began to twist.

Skin blackened.

Bone shifted.

Horns pushed outward, tearing through flesh as a low, wet crack echoed across the battlefield.

"No... this shouldn’t be possible," Moonbeam muttered, his voice distorting.

"To fully transform, I need an imnse external mana source—"

His eyes widened.

"...So that’s it."

The demon half spread across his face like corruption, devouring what remained human. Veins glowed crimson. A second horn erupted from the other side of his skull.

Both eyes turned blood-red.

A full demon.

The pressure crushed the air itself.

Everyone watching froze, unable to breathe.

Moonbeam scread—half agony, half ecstasy—as his body completed the transformation.

Rowan frowned slightly.

"I don’t know what you’re ranting about," he said calmly.

"But one thing’s clear—"

His blue aura flared.

"You’ve completely lost your mind."

Moonbeam’s aura surged violently.

As he scread, the transformation accelerated. Dark energy erupted outward, shaking the cavern and sending shockwaves through the mountain itself. Walls cracked. Entire sections of stone collapsed.

Rowan raised a hand slightly, steadying himself as the wind roared around him.

His aura was still rising.

He bit off far more than he could chew, Rowan thought calmly.

But for a human who beca a demon... he’s surpassed most of them.

Moonbeam scread again, his voice warped beyond recognition.

"I WANT TO DESTROY GOD!"

His eyes locked onto Rowan.

"YOU—YOU GOD! I’LL DESTROY YOU!"

Dark mana flooded Moonbeam’s body.

The wounds Rowan had carved into him began to close.

Slowly.

Halfway.

Then—stopped.

Rowan’s eyes narrowed.

"...It closed halfway."

That shouldn’t have been possible.

Those injuries were ant to remain open forever. Not even Moonbeam himself should have been able to heal them.

Only beings on an entirely different level could interfere with that effect.

And even then—

Never fully.

Rowan studied him carefully.

He’s changed. Completely.

His grip tightened.

Should I cut him down now?

He’s already lost his humanity.

After a brief pause, Rowan relaxed his stance.

"...I’ll wait."

The cave howled. Violent winds spiraled as the mountain groaned, chunks of stone crashing down while Moonbeam’s transformation reached its climax.

His arms thickened—fully demonized. Scales and hardened flesh spread across his body.

Every trace of humanity vanished.

Moonbeam stared at his transford hand, trembling.

"Finally... finally..."

His lips curled into a twisted grin.

"I have the strength now."

He raised his head and pointed at Rowan.

"Hey, God. I have the power to cut you down."

Rowan exhaled slowly.

"Is that so?"

His blue aura intensified, flooding the cavern with pressure far heavier than before.

"Then let’s see if that borrowed power lives up to your confidence," Rowan said coldly.

"Your skin may be tougher now. Your body more durable."

He lifted his sword.

"But this ti—

I will dissect you into nothing."

"So tell ," Moonbeam said, voice strained but defiant,

"What exactly have I done that makes you pass judgnt on ?"

"You’re a god... aren’t you?"

Rowan looked at him in silence.

Then—

"What are you even talking about?"

He stepped forward. Blue aura rippled around him like a quiet storm.

"But fine," Rowan continued. "I’ll indulge your foolishness."

His eyes hardened.

"You orchestrated the sorcerers," he said calmly.

"You ordered them to cast that curse—the one that caused my mother unbearable pain."

Moonbeam’s pupils shrank.

"You forced her to leave for the city," Rowan went on.

"All so you could capture Elian without drawing attention."

His voice dropped.

"You took her.

You bound her.

You prepared her as a sacrifice."

The air grew heavy.

"You are not ant to live."

Moonbeam opened his mouth—

Rowan didn’t stop.

"I don’t hold grudges," Rowan said flatly.

"Never have."

He raised his sword—not in haste, not in rage.

"If I have a problem with soone—

a serious problem—"

His gaze locked onto Moonbeam.

"I don’t argue.

I don’t forgive."

"I take their life."

Moonbeam’s face twisted into a deep frown as he raised his sword.

Before Rowan could move—

BOOM!

Moonbeam vanished.

"Before you take my life," Moonbeam roared, voice distorted with fury,

"I’ll take yours first! I don’t care what entity you are!"

He reappeared instantly, sword crashing down with terrifying force.

Rowan blocked.

The impact sent shockwaves through the cave, stone cracking beneath their feet.

Fast—

And that aura—

Their blades clashed again and again.

"This isn’t normal," Rowan thought.

"A human who transforms into a demon shouldn’t be this strong."

Moonbeam moved again—faster.

Rowan parried. Steel scread. Sparks exploded.

"He’s on the level of a high-ranking demon."

Moonbeam snarled and released more power.

Dark energy flooded the cave as he rushed forward, slashing relentlessly. Rowan t every strike, stepping back only when necessary, reading each movent with precision.

Moonbeam leapt into the air, sword raised high.

Rowan blocked the downward strike and shoved him away with raw force.

Rowan advanced.

Moonbeam dodged backward—then opened his mouth.

Dark energy gathered inside, tinged with deep violet.

Rowan’s eyes widened.

That’s—

The blast erupted.

Rowan vanished as the beam tore through the cave.

BOOOOM!

A massive section of the mountain was obliterated. The ground shook violently. Debris rained from above as the cave roared in protest.

Moonbeam laughed—then scread.

"This is my power!"

"This is my power now!"

His aura exploded outward, filling the passage like a storm. Walls cracked. Entire paths collapsed.

Rowan stood firm.

Then—

His aura flared.

Blue energy surged around him—sharp, overwhelming.

Rowan disappeared.

BOOM!

Their swords collided again.

Faster than before.

Far away, behind a glowing barrier—

Elian stirred.

The thunderous crashes echoed through her ears as violent wind slamd against the shield protecting her.

Her eyes slowly opened.

"...What’s happening?"

She looked around in shock as the cave collapsed piece by piece, rocks crashing down all around her—yet unable to touch her.

The air scread.

"I can hear it... the clashes," Elian whispered.

"These auras... they’re crushing each other."

She squinted toward the battlefield—

But saw nothing.

They were moving too fast.

Rowan and Moonbeam were nothing more than flashes of light and darkness, colliding again and again at speeds far beyond human vision.
