Zi Yi giggled. “They’ll think that I’ve been torturing you all night?”

The skies were still dark at this ti and only the ground lamps in the villa were turned on.
Lu Jingye and Zi Yi originally did not want to disturb anyone.

Just then, Mrs. Lu ca out of the kitchen with a bowl of wontons cooked in chicken soup.

Mrs. Lu also sat down and looked at her as she ate. “It’s still early now. After finishing the food, you two should go back and sleep so more. I’ve prepared the gift for you to bring to the Dou Family for tomorrow. You can make your way over straight away after you wake up.”
Zi Yi finished the wonton in her mouth and said, “Thanks, Mom.”
Mrs. Lu’s lips unconsciously curved up. “Everything’s ok as long as you are fine.”
“I’m alright, I was just a little exhausted,” Zi Yi said, “I’ve worried all of you.”
Everyone watched Zi Yi finish the bowl of wontons before they went back upstairs to continue sleeping.
It was already 5 a.m. by that ti.
