Chapter 694: Could Yunxiao’s Brain Death Be Related to This?
“Hmph, a mid-level intellect species dares to show off in front of ?” Zi Yi muttered to herself.
She quickly brought out her virtual screen. There were no strings of codes on the screen and instead, there seed to be a light source.
The light source quickly converged and ford a light pillar.
BOOM!
The scene in front of her was similar to that of an invisible barrier being broken and falling to pieces.
When Rick, who was originally waiting for the good news, suddenly saw a man, whose face was covered with a large black hood, appearing in front of him, he suddenly felt his heart tighten for no reason. Due to the hood, Rick could not see his features.
The man’s voice sounded similar to a chanical robot. “The magnetic field barrier I set up was broken.”
Rick opened his eyes in disbelief. “Who is capable of breaking your barrier?”
Rick always felt that the skills of the man helping him had exceeded that of normal human beings. It was to the extent he wondered if it was possible that he was not from Earth.
However, soone that skilled was telling Rick that the barrier he set up had been broken. For a mont, he did not manage to react.
“I won’t leave. Before letting Lu Jingye experience the despair and heartache I’ve suffered from, I will not leave.”
The man dressed in a cloak looked at him and said. “You are no match for him.”
“Hahaha… Who says I’m no match for him? Even without you, I still have a trump card.”
He stood up and walked outside.

Zi Yi used her ntal energy and changed the mories of the students trapped inside the washroom. Subsequently, she quietly left A.Uni.
By the ti she returned to the villa, Lu Jingye’s car had also returned.
“Ah Jing.”
Lu Jingye walked over to her in large strides and quickly checked her up and down. Only then did he breathe out a sigh of relief and pull her into his embrace. “Are you alright?”
“I’m fine.” Zi Yi moved back from his embrace, tugged on his hand, and headed to the living room. On the way, she said, “The poison in the chanical spider that appeared today is a liquid secreted by the Worm Race from outer space.”
Lu Jingye looked at her. He did not know what to say in regards to these species that had exceeded the understanding of people on Earth.
The two of them soon arrived in the living room. They walked to the sofa and sat down.
Zi Yi said, “I’ve ntioned before that I ca from the future interstellar era. Let tell you how I managed to arrive here on ancient Earth.”
Lu Jingye subconsciously tightened his grip on her hand.
“I was piloting a spaceship at that ti and when I traveled past a space portal, there was a magnetic field riot in the vicinity. At that ti, other than the spaceship I was piloting, I seem to have also seen species of the Worm Race nearby.”
Even though he found it hard to understand, Lu Jingye asked in a rather calm tone, “What you an to say is that the Worm Race had co over to Earth together with you?”
“Yes.”
“The Worm Race…” Lu Jingye muttered and looked up. “Is the Worm Race very scary?”
“They aren’t considered scary to us, but these worms have a characteristic. That is, they like to live in the bodies of lower-tier species and slowly corrode their brains before finally gaining ownership of the body. However… their intellect is higher than people from ancient Earth.”
Lu Jingye’s eyes contracted slightly after hearing Zi Yi’s description. Even though it was strange for Zi Yi to compare the intellect of worms and humans, the disparity was already clear when those worms could create robots that people on Earth weren’t able to.
Lu Jingye thought of sothing. “Could Yunxiao’s brain death be related to this?”
“It’s possible. Based on my guess, the human cloning technology is also from them.”
Lu Jingye nodded and continued asking, “When this type of creature enters our body, are you able to detect them?”
Zi Yi shook her head. “I didn’t expect that worm to tag along. I have to go back to search for materials to create a detection device. However… if I were to encounter it, I would be able to detect its presence. I have studied worms before and I know their characteristics well.”
Lu Jingye was silent for a long ti before he said in a rather complicated tone of voice, “Are earthlings considered low-tier species?”
Zi Yi did not expect him to care about this. She thought about it and shook her head. “Not really. This is ancient Earth of trillions of light years ago and the interstellar civilization had not yet developed by this ti.”
Lu Jingye remained quiet again for quite so ti before he then asked, “What you an is that you have gone back trillion light-years into the past and now, you are no longer able to return to the interstellar era?”
“It’s not that I can’t go back either. As long as I can find the materials created and use the technology of a trillion years in the future to make the spaceship, I am still able to return.”
Zi Yi looked at Lu Jingye who had a tight frown on his face. She smiled brightly and hugged his arm as she said, “Ah Jing, if I were to find these materials in the future and successfully create a spaceship, I’ll take you around to visit the interstellar civilization.”
Lu Jingye looked at Zi Yi who had a bright gaze. He raised his hand and touched her cheeks as he asked, “What kind of role were you in back in your era?”
Zi Yi thought about it and the terminology used on ancient Earth surfaced in her mind. “A technical geek.”
Lu Jingye’s lips curved up and he caressed her head. “It’s no wonder you are so familiar with robots.”
“That’s right. I know a lot of things. However, I am restricted in every way after arriving on ancient Earth and I feel extrely stifled.”
“What materials do you need? I’ll try my best to help you create them?”
“So materials are only available in space.”
“After the end of the year, I’ll open an aerospace company.”
Zi Yi was delighted. She circled her arm around his neck and sat on his legs. “Then I’ll bring you to my ho in the future. I am a very rich person.”
“How rich?” Lu Jingye held her waist with one arm and his other arm tickled her waist.
Zi Yi felt her body go soft due to the tickling. Her cheeks were slightly reddened as she said with a discontented expression, “Don’t touch my waist.”
Lu Jingye stopped his hand movents and looked at her.
Only then did Zi Yi continue telling him about herself. “I have several habitable planets that have a relatively comfortable climate. Every one of the planets is a least ten tis larger than Earth. Also… I have a large research laboratory on the main planet, many aristocrats would have their spaceships customized at my place.”
Zi Yi was acting like a peacock that was showing off in front of her beloved, hoping that he will like her even more.
However, Lu Jingye remained silent after he heard of her background.
Zi Yi looked at him and asked in a puzzled tone, “What’s wrong?”
A few seconds later, Lu Jingye sighed. “My wife is so rich and powerful, I am under great pressure.”
Zi Yi did not think the sa way as him. “You are considered very powerful in the ancient Earth and don’t compare yourself with the interstellar people. The interstellar civilization is developed by combining the wisdom of the earthlings.”
Lu Jingye’s hand that was on her waist moved to the back of her head and he lowered his head. The second before their lips touched, he said, “What my wife said makes sense. To thank you for lowering yourself, I intend to give you a big gift.”
As their lips joined with each other, Zi Yi asked during the gaps where she took deep breaths, “What kind of a big gift?”
Lu Jingye kissed her while chuckling. His laughter was bewitching and it made Zi Yi’s heart quiver.
Lu Jingye said, “Of course, it’s to give you a little baby.”
“Hehe, I like this gift very much.”
Following that, the two of them no longer had the ti to talk.

By the ti they ate dinner, it was already past 10 p.m. in the evening.
Lu Jingye cooked two bowls of noodles with poached eggs.
Zi Yi liked eating poached eggs. Moreover, she would eat the yolk first before eating the egg white.
She didn’t start eating the noodles until she finished the poached egg.
They seldomly ate noodles and when Lu Jingye saw how much she liked the eggs, he said, “If you like eating them, I’ll prepare so poached eggs for breakfast tomorrow.”
Zi Yi quickly nodded her head. “I love them.”
