"Foolish being," the Fla Father sneered.
"Trying to use a being born of fla to heal yourself? Just how much do you look down on ?"
"Urgh!" Chen Mo coughed violently, spitting out a mouthful of blood.
The Fla Father had reversed the healing process of the phoenix core, turning it against Chen Mo and causing even more internal harm.
Chen Mo groaned in agony, his hand reaching shakily for his sword.
The phoenix core was now doing more damage than good, tearing at his body from within.
To deal with the situation, he decided to simply get rid of the core completely.
"That will be a foolish move," Seth appeared suddenly in front of him, placing a hand on Chen Mo's shoulder to stop him.
"The mont you do that, you will destroy your foundation and cause even more harm to yourself."
"Hey! Do not interfere with my prey!" the Fla Father roared, clearly annoyed by Seth's interference.
"Shut up for a minute," Seth muttered dismissively.
He flicked a single drop of blood from his fingertip.
The blood moved at a speed impossible for the Fla Father to follow.
It struck the giant hell devil form squarely, sending the massive being flying backwards with trendous force.
"Don't touch him. He is mine," Chen Mo warned, his voice strained but firm.
"I know he is yours," Seth replied calmly.
"Using him to breakthrough is good. But that's not enough reason to overestimate him. And worse, actually damage yourself and stunt your growth."
"I will be fine," Chen Mo groaned, bearing the intense pain radiating from his burnt face.
"Being stubborn isn't elegant," Seth muttered, placing his hand gently on Chen Mo's head.
In the next mont, Chen Mo's face and body healed completely, the burns vanishing as if they had never existed.
"What are you doing?" Chen Mo knocked Seth's hand away warily, eyes narrowed with suspicion.
"Relax. I don't plan to hurt you," Seth said with a light smile.
"That's not elegant and doesn't fit my style. Although it's good you're cautious, you're barking at the wrong tree. Alright. Finish this up. I'm getting bored."
"I increased the vitality of your blood, and also its strength and everything else," Seth added.
"So you should be faster, stronger, with near-instant healing. It's a one-off thing. I'm simply doing my side of the bargain by supporting you. The rest is up to you now."
Chen Mo nodded his head, slowly rising back to his feet with renewed strength coursing through his veins.
He couldn't drag the battle out any longer.
Chen Mo knew he had to finish the Fla Father now.
"Oh. And one more thing," Seth added casually.
"Scattered everywhere are invisible fla bombs. That's what took your face the first ti."
"Noted," Chen Mo replied, his voice steady as he flew forward once more.
He created several sword qis, commanding them to move ahead of him like invisible scouts.
Every invisible fla bomb in his path was sliced apart by the sharp sword qis, ensuring he wouldn't be blasted away again.
Chen Mo reached the Fla Father's position in a blur of motion.
"Back for round two?" the Fla Father asked with a mocking grin, flas flickering around his massive form.
Chen Mo refrained from answering. Instead, he swung his sword in a ruthless arc, cleanly cutting off the Fla Father's legs at the knees.
"You damn pest! Super Nova!" the Fla Father roared in fury.
With him as the focal point, a massive explosion erupted outward, blowing everything in its path to ashes and destroying the surrounding flas in a cataclysmic blast.
Chen Mo was flung backward like a rag doll, suffering heavy damage across his body from the shockwave.
But as quickly as the injuries appeared, his face and body recovered instantly, thanks to the enhanced vitality from Seth's blood.
The healing was near-instant and flawless.
The Fla Father regenerated his severed limbs imdiately.
Being at the core of his own origin realm made him nearly impossible to kill.
"You are wasting so much ti," Seth called out from the side.
"Need help?"
"I don't," Chen Mo replied firmly, rising back to his feet with renewed determination.
He took a deep, steadying breath, his mind becoming perfectly calm and focused.
"Oh?" Seth smiled, recognizing exactly what that calm ant.
He was about to witness the true power of the mystic arms in action.
"The most offensive mystic organ," Seth muttered with growing interest.
"Let's see what you're made of."
He watched the battle with intense focus, refusing to look away even for a second, burning every detail into his mory.
Boom!
Chen Mo moved.
He swung his sword, sending sharp sword qis shooting toward the Fla Father.
The Fla Father, expecting the attack, created a thick wall of flas to block it.
Chen Mo was unrelenting. He attacked again and again, forcing the Fla Father to keep reinforcing the wall of flas with more power.
With his free hand, the Fla Father fired blasts of origin flas at Chen Mo.
Chen Mo dodged the origin flas carefully, not by a hair's breadth this ti, knowing that even the slightest touch could spell his end.
Origin flas were living entities in the form of fire.
One single contact was enough to burn soone to crisp.
"You annoying pest! Stop dodging!" the Fla Father roared in growing annoyance.
His stomach suddenly transford into a gaping mouth, releasing a massive blast of origin flas directly at Chen Mo.
Once again, Chen Mo dodged them deftly.
But then he realized the origin flas were far worse than he had expected.
The flas he had avoided transford into living fla creatures of terrifying strength and began chasing after him relentlessly.
"Now this is getting interesting," Seth muttered, watching the fight with peak curiosity.
Chen Mo, still being chased by the origin creatures, suddenly turned to face them head-on.
"Annihilation of the Heavens!" he called out, using the technique for the first ti since the fight began.
He swung his sword toward the origin creatures.
For an instant, the ever-burning and bright world of flas was completely covered in darkness.
What followed was total annihilation.
The origin fla creatures were wiped out in a single, devastating strike.
Chen Mo continued his charge, reaching the Fla Father once more.
"Fool! Staying close to is the worst thing you can do!" the Fla Father mocked, his voice dripping with arrogance.
"No," Chen Mo replied, his eyes cold and deadly serious. "Staying close to is the worst thing you can do."
