"!!!" Albert raised his vision and checked the sound again before hiding behind a tree, finding another two goblins running in his direction. They seed to be moving randomly as there wasn't any monster chasing after them.
After that, he continued to kill more goblins in the area as they were the easiest monsters to kill.
While he was hunting, a female warrior was bending down her knees, touching the ground. Next to the spot she touched was a foot trail.
The trail looked like a paw and the size was smaller than a human's palm. She grabbed the dirt and furrowed her eyebrows. "I think they passed through this area not long ago. Probably an hour or two."
A muscular cyclops raised his giant wooden club and placed it on his shoulder while saying, "Are you sure? I don't like where this is going"
"What are you talking about?" A one-horned oni asked while tilting his head in confusion. "I don't know what you're talking about."
"If I am not wrong, it has been seven months since you ca to the town."
"Y-yes."
"No wonder you don't know about it. This is just a constant problem for us." The cyclops sighed, saying, "We need to set up a subjugation squad and start fortifying our defense. Just looking at the trails, there seem to be around a hundred wolves traveling in this area."
The one-horned oni trembled as he looked left and right, observing how the trails stretched from one side to another.
"Anyway, I don't think the wolves will be that powerful. And it's already this season, so I guess we really can't complain." The human warrior sighed as she finally stood up, looking at the cyclops. "We will be returning to the town right away."
"This season? What are you talking about? We are still in the sumr and spring is still one month away." The one-horned oni tried to explain.
