Sunset arrived, and night fell. Today, the day at the estate had been peaceful and uneventful as usual. As work ended, the young maidservants yawned, gathered in twos and threes, giggling and chatting playfully.

But in a place they couldn’t see, an invisible domain had enveloped the estate, preventing any kind of spiritual sensing ability from penetrating even slightly.

It was as if a veil had draped over the estate, concealing all its mysteries within.

Inside Catherine’s room, all the doors and windows were tightly shut. Alice lit the candle on the table to chase away the room’s darkness.

Julian stood beside Catherine, waiting for her to finish preparing the ritual array and the necessary potions.

Losiya thought about the requirents of the ritual and couldn’t help but look troubled. She opened her mouth, then shut it again with a reluctant expression.

"This can’t be helped. It’s a serious matter, Miss, you don’t need to overthink it," Alice reminded her from the side.

Catherine’s long, slightly curled black hair floated silently in the air. Her deep blue eyes stared at the ritual array on the ground, without a trace of emotion.

Beside her, a mountain of various materials had been prepared. She quietly used her fingers to draw the ritual symbols on the floor. When Losiya looked over, she couldn’t understand any of the strange and primitive patterns.

Opening one small bottle after another, and after everything was ready, Catherine turned toward Julian and smiled gently. "Little Julian, we can begin."

"What do I need to do?" His heart began to beat faster. It was his first ti encountering sothing he had never seen before, and naturally, he felt a little excited.

"First, stand on the array. Then..." Catherine paused briefly.

Both Losiya and Alice looked over at the sa ti.

Among those present, only Julian had not undergone the Sacred Mark awakening process. Thinking they were concerned about the safety of the ritual, he was just about to say a few comforting words when Losiya suddenly blurted:

"Take off all your clothes."

Five minutes later, Julian stood with his head lowered, hands subconsciously covering himself, unsure of where to look. It wasn’t because he was afraid of seeing anything—rather, in his current state, making eye contact with anyone felt incredibly awkward.

What he didn’t realize was that, with his looks and physique, being stripped in a matriarchal world like this was practically like a fatal poison, capable of making others lose their senses.

Catherine’s breathing had unconsciously beco heavier, and she softly stepped forward. "Child, next, you just need to lie down. Close your eyes, it’ll be over very quickly."

Julian glanced sideways. Alice had tactfully turned away to look out the window. Losiya, however, was staring directly at him. But the mont their eyes t, all her chaotic, conflicting thoughts vanished.

What am I even doing? Worrying about such a trivial thing... Besides, giving Julian to Aunt Catherine was always the safest choice. Why was I even being suspicious or conflicted?

"Aunt Catherine, I’ll leave him to you." She cald her thoughts and spoke seriously.

"Little Losiya, I’ve long been a married woman. I have no thoughts whatsoever about little Julian—certainly not those kinds of thoughts." Catherine replied solemnly, looking at Losiya.

"If you’re really that concerned, I could blindfold myself."

"No need! Just proceed with the ritual!" Losiya’s little worry being exposed made her instantly embarrassed, and she turned away to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Alice.

Julian lay quietly on the ground, eyes gazing at the ceiling, gradually slipping into unconsciousness without realizing it.

Catherine dipped her fingers into the prepared potion and evaluated Julian’s face and body. For a mont, she forgot what she was supposed to do.

Swallowing, she moved her hand to Julian’s chest. Her fingers slid across it, drawing a sigil pattern.

His fair, smooth skin was gradually covered in the color of the potion. As ti passed and she entered the correct state of mind, she forgot all the pink, suggestive thoughts and focused entirely on carving the sigils. Slowly, Julian’s chest and arms beca covered in markings.

Suddenly, her hand trembled—she nearly ssed up the pattern.

It turned out that when performing the ritual on the girls of her own family, even if her hand brushed certain spots, it never caused any sensation. This ti, however, she nearly failed due to a single mistake.

An unfamiliar sense of guilt began to well up inside her. She narrowed her eyes and slowly opened them again, only to see Julian’s innocent, sleepy gaze eting her own.

This is Losiya’s future husband. He shouldn’t be the target of your stray thoughts...

Opening her eyes again, she activated her Sacred Mark and forcibly entered the ritual state, no longer distracted by outside thoughts.

This ti, the marking process went quickly. Her fingers passed over every part of Julian’s body. Then she ran into another problem.

Her hand reached below Julian’s abdon.

Catherine was no naive girl—being married, she instantly realized what she was touching. But this ti, it wasn’t shyness that made her pause, but genuine uncertainty on how to proceed.

Her slender fingers found the right position. Catherine closed her eyes.

Seconds later, her face turned slightly red.

The raw masculine scent—Catherine dared not let her thoughts wander further. She kept her eyes shut and quickly completed the final marking.

As if she had touched sothing venomous, she withdrew her hand in a flash. Quietly, she wiped sweat from her forehead. Without needing a mirror, she could already feel how red her face had beco after the Holy Mark contact.

The peculiar sensation made her wish she could imdiately change into a new set of underwear.

Shaking her head, she focused back on the task at hand. Finish handling Julian first, then think about other things. This ritual wasn’t a joke—calling it fraught with danger wouldn’t be an overstatent.

Next... It was ti to begin the real ritual. Catherine thought to herself.

Everyone knew: if a boy reached maturity and had never relieved himself before, any kind of stimulation could trigger an intense reaction.

As her eyes widened, sothing happened that made Catherine’s own eyes go round in shock.

She had never...

There was sothing she hadn’t told Losiya yet—her own marriage had long since beco nothing but a formality. To call her a widow would be inaccurate—her husband was a completely useless invalid.

Almost as if guided by so supernatural force.

(...............)

As her hand passed over her face, her expression slowly returned to a more radiant and calm state.
