"Honestly, I have got only 3 gifts, so I didn’t hesitate." Celestina said as she started showing us her gifts one by one.
The first was a bottle that contained so Tier 3 ink. Though she couldn’t use it to its full potential, it was still better than using Tier 2 ink.
The second item was a pair of golden bracelets. According to her, they could deflect or block both magical and physical attacks. A good defensive item for a supporter like her.
The last item was a skill card that helped her to learn a better barrier spell. Now, she could give us a more durable barrier that could stay for 2 hours before disappearing.
Unfortunately, none of them could replace any of my gifts.
"Okay, it’s my turn. I got 5 gifts so I need to sacrifice one of them." Andrea spoke, telling us about each one of his gifts.
My eyes lit up as I heard the description of the first item. It was a mana cleaner, and with it, he could clean the mana in his magical water, making it drinkable to anyone.
This item removed the water option from my head imdiately. It was technically infinite water as long as Andrea had mana.
His second item was a potion that could improve his control over only his water affinity, which ant that the overall mana control won’t get affected.
I hoped that the people who were watching us would hear us, because this ant our system of determining only soone’s mana control’s talent was flawed.
Well, I wasn’t a dwarf, it wasn’t really my problem, so I dismissed those thoughts and continued listening to him.
The third item was a ball of high pressure water, it could shift its shape by the holder’s will and can be even stronger in the hands of a water user.
The fourth was a bunch of healing potions. We only had 2 potions left, so it was also too useful. Celestina’s mana wasn’t infinite after all.
Finally, the last item was... a key.
But not just any key. It was a key that — according to its description — had the ability to make a door in any wall.
Its only problem was that its mana consumption depended on the wall it was being used on.

The abyssal potion was sothing I had to get. Though I didn’t know its effects, it was still sothing related to my trait.
The skill book was also necessary. It could give information about the soul threads in an instant, which should help to improve my understanding of the soul path quickly.
So the real choice was between the boots and the soul freezer.
After brainstorming for 5 minutes, I settled on the boots.
It was the most secure option, after all, if I died because I couldn’t dodge an attack, then the soul freezer wouldn’t help .
I pressed on the 4 gifts I chose, and instantly, they appeared in front of .
The first was a glowing white orb that was floating above the ground.

For a long mont, the orb didn’t make any reaction, but suddenly, the orb began sending a ray of light to the direction of the path we ca from.
"It works..." Andrea murmured, his lips curling into a happy smile.
"It fucking works! You did it, kid!" Maxwell shouted happily as he raised above his shoulders and started dancing.

Shaking my head, I looked at the blink boots.
They were black like the night’s sky with dark runes shining on them.
I wore them one by one, and in an instant, their size got adjusted to suit my legs.

Feeling sick in my stomach, I vomited everything I had eaten today.

I had heard rumours about how teleportation was making people vomit, but that was just too much!

After resting for a bit and thanking Celestina, I picked up the skill book from the ground.
It was a luxurious grey book with silver threads carved on its centre. And strangely, the book was closed completely without any way to get opened.
Master Kai told before about the skill cards and how they required mana to get used, but I never heard about a whole skill book that didn’t even need mana.
Maybe they were only outside our world, and maybe there were skill books in Eldoria, but without going to the academy and learning about them, I couldn’t be sure.
Though Celestina, Andrea and Maxwell said that they never heard about skill books before, I should consider that the academy’s information always gets updated.
Anyway, I focused on the book in my hand and channeled my aura to it.
The book shattered into hundreds of small grey stars that flew to my soul the next mont.
A surge of information started filling , answering most all the questions that I couldn’t find an answer for.

After smiling like a fool for 10 minutes, I finally absorbed all the information from the book.
I wanted to test what I learnt now, but I had sothing more important to do.
I shifted my gaze to the last item on the ground
A small, black, luxurious vial with a strange dark liquid inside it.
Despite being on the ground, the disgusting liquid was shaking on its own as if it was alive.
*Gulp*
I gulped nervously as I picked the vial up and opened it.
’I just have to drink it as fast as possible. It’s not a big deal.’
Closing my eyes and nose, I drank the potion on one gulp, leaving the dark liquid enter my body.
