Saint Karno City.

Saint Karno School. Special Interrogation Room.

A fat man wearing a straitjacket sat on the interrogation chair, his hands on his thighs nervously clenching and unclenching, almost sweating.

Separated by a long rectangular iron interrogation table, three n, all dressed in plain white and past their fifties, silently observed the fat man.

The all-iron interrogation table reflected the distorted figures of the four, exuding an aura that made the entire enclosed room even colder.

If Shami were present, he would definitely find the fat man before him very familiar.

This was none other than Ootake n, the shut-in specialty teacher who was assigned the office next to him when he joined Saint Karno School as a faculty mber.

"Gentlen, I really don’t know anything else! It’s not my fault students aren’t attending specialty classes! Shut-ins like us naturally don’t go out! How could I possibly stand at a podium and teach?"

Ootake n nervously glanced at the three stern n, cold sweat slowly trickling down his face full of fat.

"Ootake n. Do not change the subject. Saint Karno School’s investigation system is not to be taken lightly. Answer what we ask. Do not obstruct official duties."

"I understand..."

Ootake n sensibly nodded repeatedly.

"You said that half a year ago, you occasionally saw Oka Lina, Aigal Yuzer Lureya, and Elze entering and leaving the office next to yours?"

Sitting to the left of the trio, the man in the neatly tailored suit with thick black eyebrows as sharp as sword threads, coldly looked at Ootake.

This was Gabe Puvon, the vice principal of Saint Karno School.

The other two elders sitting beside Gabe Puvon were Slo, the Great Mage of Fata, and Promi Sen, the vice president of the Adventurer’s Guild.

The Great Mage Slo sat in the middle, while Promi Sen sat on the right.

This interrogation, which shook the Great Mage of Fata, the vice principal of the continent’s top school, and a top figure of the Adventurer’s Guild, made soone as insignificant as Ootake feel as if he were standing at the edge of an abyss.

"Yes, yes... I saw them with my own eyes... After all, those three are the beauties of the school, and I’m always in my office, so I’m quite aware of their comings and goings."

"Do you know whose office these three girls entered?"

"I do!—Edogawa! I have a particular impression of that damn extrovert! Plus, he’s a specialty teacher for slis, so I rember him clearly."

"Did you ever see anything unusual between Edogawa and those three girls?"

"Yes! Once, when I was stepping out, I saw Edogawa walking down the hallway, with Oka Lina and Elze right next to him, cozy as can be. That damn sll of romance, I, I..."

Ootake recalled, gradually tearing up with discomfort.

The three prominent figures exchanged glances in the interrogation room.

A month ago, after the second Demon Envoy—Aigal Yuzer Lureya from the Elf Race—had her identity revealed, the top figures of various forces realized sothing was amiss.

First, there was the Sword Demon Envoy Oka Lina, then the Elf Demon Envoy Aigal Yuzer Lureya. Both had appeared as students at Saint Karno School.

The infiltration of two Demon Envoys into Saint Karno School, whether to steal the school’s knowledge or for other purposes, could not be underestimated.

During a secret eting convened by Fata and attended by the seven Great Mages, Slo proposed: it was highly possible that other Demon Envoys were also present in the school at that ti.

Following the conclusion of the secret eting, led by Slo, Fata joined forces with the Adventurer’s Guild and Saint Karno School to form an intelligence group, collectively launching an operation to gather intelligence on Demon Race mbers.

The operation lasted a month and was now nearing its conclusion.

No doubt, at this critical juncture, they had obtained the most vital information.

"Are you suspecting that those girls are having a student-teacher romance with Edogawa? Serves them right! Haha! Luckily, my wife and I aren’t in the sa dinsion!"

Ootake burst into loud laughter.

"This clown—no, this specialty teacher may leave now. We brought you in just for information, and now there’s no further concern for you."

Promi Sen, the vice president of the Adventurer’s Guild, waved his hand, indicating for Ootake to leave.

"Oh..."

Ootake quietly put away his smile and left the interrogation room.

The three suited elderly n remained silent for a while.

Silently piecing together the intelligence gathered so far, the truth was becoming evident.

"Judging from the interactions between Oka Lina and Aigal Yuzer Lureya at Saint Karno School, the two knew each other before coming here."

Promi Sen gradually said.

"Not only that. The two were already Demon Envoys before arriving here."

Saint Karno School’s vice principal Gabe Puvon added, looking at Slo, who sat in the middle.

"Considering the information collected previously, it is almost certain that Edogawa and Elze, who were close to the Demon Envoys Oka and Aigal, are also mbers of the Demon Race."

"The Demon King cannot treat soone from the Dragon Race lightly. The Dragon Race is one of the rarest on the continent, second only to the Elf Race. Since Aigal Yuzer Lureya, an elf, is a Demon Envoy, then Elze, from the Dragon Race, is most likely also a Demon Envoy."

Promi Sen flipped through the docunts he held and pushed his large glasses up his nose.
