The sword slipped from Harlan’s hand and fell to the ground with a dull thud. Her eyes were wide open, and her lips trembled.
"What, what are you talking about..."
Shami crossed her arms and let out a confident chuckle.
"Harlan-sensei, don’t think that such things can be kept in the dark forever. You know a lot about Luwaka, don’t you? And you’re pretty familiar with rooms like biological labs and classrooms inside the Luwaka Demon King Castle, aren’t you?"
Upon hearing this, Harlan’s face turned exceptionally grim. In the dumbfounded gaze of the white-haired, she quickly pulled the still-gaping Shami, who seed eager to spill more secrets, aside.
"How do you know all this?"
Harlan lowered her voice, looking at Shami in exasperation.
"This is pretty much an admission, Harlan-sensei."
Shami looked over with a sly grin.
"As a Demon Lord, knowing so things about the previous Demon King is quite normal. Secretly going to the Demon King Castle behind Casius’s back, eting privately with Luwaka, bringing the Demon King to the Hero’s bedroom and all that..."
Harlan’s face turned grim upon hearing this. The details spoken by the dark-haired youth made it evident that he knew about her and Luwaka. The usually calm Harlan found her mind in disarray, almost shutting down.
But at this critical mont, Harlan still knew what needed the most imdiate attention.
These matters must never reach Lina. After spending so much ti together, Harlan had long considered Lina as her own daughter; otherwise, she wouldn’t have rushed to see Lina upon learning she beca a Demon Envoy.

Behind the two, a small white-haired face peeked out from behind a tree, listening intently.

Harlan looked anxiously towards the white-haired.
"An affair between the Hero’s wife and the Demon King is not sothing that can be explained away, right? A teacher with questionable behavior cannot possibly teach good students. Maybe Lina turned out this way because of the teacher’s fault."
Shami continued to fuel the fire.
"Shut up!"
Harlan, red with anger, loudly interrupted Shami. The scene fell into silence. Harlan’s furious montum died down imdiately.
Harlan remained silent, making no rebuttal, indirectly confirming that everything Shami said was true.
The white-haired looked at Harlan in disbelief.
"Harlan-sensei had an affair with the previous Demon King, and I fell for the current Demon King... So this is a teacher-student legacy, liking the Demon King was a seed planted by Harlan-sensei."
"Not at all! Don’t impose your own village beliefs on others!"
"Not at all! This isn’t so legacy! I teach swordsmanship, not how to have affairs!"
Seeing the white-haired trying to shift the bla, Shami and Harlan almost simultaneously refuted.
Harlan, angry, took a deep breath.
Shami watched Harlan’s expression intently. From Harlan’s deanor, ntioning Luwaka didn’t evoke strong emotions or resentnt, but she wasn’t indifferent either.
This piqued Shami’s curiosity.
"I’m curious how you ended up involved with Luwaka. After all, that guy would even take a fancy to sheep and cattle, how could the Hero’s wife fall for such a guy?"
"Soone self-hard by Bone Fra like Shami has no right to talk like that about others."
The white-haired mumbled softly, and as she looked up at Shami, her mouth was swiftly covered with a glare.
Keep talking nonsense, and you’ll regret it at ho.
"What? Luwaka even did such things?"
Harlan frowned.
Shami kept quiet.
It seems the Hero’s wife was not aware of Luwaka’s other side.
"I always thought he just went to the Succubus Tea House. I didn’t expect him to have such peculiar tastes."
"Harlan-sensei, how did you get involved with Luwaka? Was it a romantic relationship? Then why were you teaching swordsmanship on my journey to defeat Luwaka? I later went to the Demon King Castle to confront him too, or was it that Harlan-sensei and Luwaka had a love-hate relationship?"
The white-haired kept speculating, and Harlan, watching the two in front of her, remained silent for a mont before finally deciding to reveal so past events.
"I knew Luwaka early on when he was just a child."
Harlan’s words shocked the two.
"He is the son of a shepherd. At that ti, he was responsible for herding sheep and cattle at my family’s ranch. In my youth, I often vacationed at the ranch, and that’s how I got to know him."
Shami remained silent.

Harlan shifted the focus to Shami.
