Over the next few days, Shami frequently created opportunities to et with Rooney and, through casual monts, gifted Rooney quite a few presents.
With Bone Fra undercover inside Rooney’s office, Shami could expertly grasp Rooney’s usual interests and hobbies.
The relationship between the two quickly grew closer.
On this day, Shami knocked on Rooney’s office door once again.
"Co in."
Rooney’s voice ca through.
Shami walked into the office, closed the door behind him, and sat on the chair in front of the desk.
Inside the office, Bone Fra was quietly staying in the corner.
Rooney looked at Shami and chuckled.
"Mr. Edogawa, what’s the matter? The tea leaves you gave last ti were very nice."
"These are specialty tea leaves from our place. If Director Rooney likes them, I’ll bring so more next ti."
The tea leaves Shami gave Rooney were sourced from the tea garden in Elf Forest, acquired from the golden-haired maiden, naturally top quality.
"Hahaha, it seems Mr. Edogawa is adapting well in our school. The recent specialty classes are also very popular among the students."
Shami followed Rooney’s lead in conversation, bringing up Rooney’s identity through idle chat.
"I heard from other students that Director Rooney is a master of architecture..."
"Ah, in terms of architecture, I indeed have quite an extensive dabbling."

"I wonder if Director Rooney is interested in designing a castle?"
Shami naturally inquired.

"But isn’t Mr. Edogawa a herdsman? How did you co up with this idea?"
Shami explained.
"I’ve saved up a bit over the years, mainly because back ho I have a 79-year-old girlfriend who’s quite wealthy. She wants to return ho in a year or two, and together build a castle to enjoy our old age."
Rooney looked at Shami with a hint of surprise, then revealed a comforting expression that everyone has their destiny.
"Taking such a shortcut is certainly understandable. Being a bit older isn’t an issue, think positively, at least her probability of going before you is much greater."
Rooney sat up straight.
"In that case, let see what I can do to assist you, Mr. Edogawa."
Shami nodded, pulled out from his backpack the Demon King Castle model made of clay.
"So, Mr. Edogawa already has his initial idea."
Rooney took the model and began to examine it.
"Such a massive castle, building it brick by brick isn’t sothing that can be completed in a year or two."
"No worries. If it’s not finished, we’ll leave it for future generations, let them experience the taste of half-finished buildings and mortgages."
"Ah hahaha, I really admire that spirit."
Seeing this, Rooney didn’t say much more and started to study the model attentively.
The more Rooney studied, the more he felt that if this castle were successfully built, it would be an incredible fortress, at least more magnificent than many royal castles of kingdoms.
This imdiately piqued Rooney’s interest in research.
Being a master of architecture, he usually doesn’t agree to help others design buildings, as the re space limitations of residential hos don’t allow him to fully exercise his creativity.
While the castle in front of him has unlimited potential, if designed seriously, it could undoubtedly be a gem that amazes the entire continent across all races.
Seeing Rooney deeply engrossed, Shami slowly voiced his question.
"Director Rooney, what are your thoughts now?"
Rooney snapped back to reality briefly.
Despite having nurous ideas about castle construction, the current owners are Shami and his 79-year-old girlfriend; thus, he sought Shami’s opinion.
"This castle is highly designable, it might beco one of the world’s top castles in the future. What doubts does Mr. Edogawa have at present?"
Of course, it’s indeed the Demon King Castle model.
Shami sighed internally and began extracting useful architectural information from Rooney.
"In terms of location, where should this castle ideally be situated? Ideally, the castle’s location should be discreet and not easily discovered by others."
Rooney thought seriously.
"So, high concealnt is required? That needs specific analysis... Choosing a location..."
Rooney spoke and ntioned the aspect of resources.
"However, the castle’s location must be selected in a place with rich resources to ensure normal supply of resources within the castle. If built next to Pigman houses, early on, you could leverage Pigman’s strength, mid-term you could exchange items with Pigman Guards."
"Does such a race truly exist in this world?"
Shami frowned.
"And regarding safety, what if one day all the Human Race attacks—I’m just hypothetically asking, no particular aning, since a castle indeed needs safety. How should it be constructed to have high security?"
"I understand this area well. Castle security is a very important topic."
Rooney had great understanding in this aspect and gradually began to share his insights with Shami.
