Elf School, Advanced Academy, Teacher’s Office.
Lureya was eventually called to the office by Nico.
"Professor Nico, I’ve already finished my sumr howork, calling to the office during such a special ti will make people suspicious!"
Reluctantly, Lureya walked into the office, slowly moving to Nico’s side.
Nico sat in her office chair, legs crossed, and turned her swivel chair to look at the blonde girl.
"Lureya, it’s unprecedented that you’ve completed your sumr howork, quite rare indeed."
"Of course~ The first two tis, my howork was really stolen by the little cat!"
"To be honest, I’m still not quite willing to accept this change..."
Nico pondered as she looked at Lureya.
Lureya felt a bit guilty.
Darn, my howork wasn’t found out to be a crowd-sourced effort, was it? I clearly changed the handwriting and everything!
"Nico, I told you Lureya would finish her howork, you owe lunch next week~"
Nearby, a smiling female elf teacher cradled a book and left.
"So you were betting on whether I’d finish my sumr howork or not, Nico! It’s your student, yet you bet against finishing? Give a little confidence!"
Lureya paused, then angrily spun Nico’s office chair rapidly, making a fuss.
"Because I prefer betting on unlikely events."
"You’re lying!"
Nico was dizzy from the spinning, hurriedly asking Lureya to stop and get to the point.
"Alright, alright, let’s talk, there’s sothing I need to inform you about."
"What is it?"
Lureya finally let go.
"Did you practice your spiritual power well this holiday?"
Nico looked at Lureya.
"This week, during the start of school week, there will be a spiritual power test for all elf students at the Advanced Academy, scheduled for tomorrow afternoon."
Upon hearing this, Lureya’s face imdiately grew unsettled.
"Can, can I skip it? I think I might get sick right on ti tomorrow afternoon."
"That excuse has already been used. You have to participate."
Nico shook her head, looking at Lureya’s eyes with anticipation.
"This ti, at the very least, don’t be at Spiritual Qi Tier 3, Lureya. If your spiritual power remains so low, you’ll really be regarded as a genuine fool by the school."
Lureya stood in place motionless, face serious, biting her lip lightly.
She really didn’t want this kind of situation.
When it cos to elven strength, the Elf Race has its own assessnt system.
The elf’s ranking is different from normal humans; their ranking focuses mainly on spiritual power, categorized into tiers and segnts based on its magnitude.
The rankings, from low to high, are Low Tier, Mid Tier, High Tier, Elite Tier, and Holy Light Tier, encompassing 5 major tiers.
Within each tier, there are 9 segnts.
The higher the tier and segnt, the stronger the elf’s represented strength.
Below Elite Tier, strength assessnt almost only considers spiritual power; beyond Elite Tier, other aspects gradually reflect in the assessnt.
In the Advanced Academy, the general strength of elf students ranges from Mid Tier Segnt 3 to 6.
To graduate, an elf’s ranking must reach Mid Tier Segnt 8 or above, to be recognized by the school.
However, the new generation elf maiden Lureya is currently at Low Tier Segnt 3.
Her rank is a whole major tier below other students.
One can imagine, upon hearing about another spiritual power test, how despairing Lureya felt inside.
She was going to be ruthlessly mocked again in public view!
"Really, I can’t get a leave?"
"If you take leave, you’ll have to do a makeup test, and the results will be announced separately."
"I understand..."
Knowing there was no escaping the spiritual power test, Lureya’s mood gradually sank, her voice losing energy.
Although this sumr, having been by Shami’s side, there was significant practice due to her supervision, Lureya had no confidence about the exact progress.
Lureya felt her strength hadn’t improved much.
Nico quietly observed Lureya’s emotions.
"Don’t worry. If things still don’t work out this ti, co find after school, and I’ll help you with special training."
Lureya slightly raised her head to look at Nico.
Nico gave her a gentle smile.
Lureya didn’t know why, but this black-frad glasses wearing professor Nico had always been very attentive to her.
If there was any gossip or important information, she would always tell her in advance.
The rules of the Elf School were very relaxed; as long as school was out, teachers could leave freely, not obliged to concern themselves with students.
Now, with Nico offering to assist with special training, Lureya felt quite touched.
"Professor Nico, I feel like you especially look out for ..."
Lureya blinked her eyes in confusion.
"Is it because you find cute?... Considering a candidate for the new generation Elf Goddess? If I have the looks but my strength doesn’t improve, I won’t truly beco an Elf Goddess... Then you’d be the Elf Goddess’s teacher, gaining face...?"
Nico chuckled softly.
"No, it’s simply because I see the shadow of my forr self in Lureya."
"Huh?"
"Back then, I was quite foolish. By the ti I reached 9th grade at the Advanced Academy, I still had the strength of Low Tier Segnt 5. But through self-studying quietly to now, haven’t I reached the Elite Tier? I have my unique understanding. One ti success is luck, twice success can be found as a pattern. I want to show everyone, even fools can have achievents in the future!"
