"Why would a villager without even a girlfriend buy sothing like this?"
Lureya teased, suddenly thinking of herself.
"Wait, you're not planning to use it on , are you? So that I'll obediently cooperate with you, even putting on a collar by myself to please you when I'm overwheld by lust, losing all my senses! You want to turn into a fallen elf who has completely lost her mind?!"
The Tablet Spirit's pointed ears flushed, and she hugged herself tightly.
"Stop fantasizing! Although there's precedent that elves can also be affected by this potion! But I'm a pure elf, not the kind of woman who easily succumbs to pleasure!"
"Stop airing the junk in your head! You automatically pictured so many scenes, aren't you already disqualifying yourself as a pure elf?"
Shami put the bottle into his Demon King Ring. If not for reviving the Sli, he wouldn't have wasted so much money on such a weird thing.
Why would reviving a Sli require an aphrodisiac? It has nothing to do with natural materials like tree sap!
Since leveling up to level 2, the cooldown ti for [Demon King's Teleportation] has significantly reduced. Plus, this ti the distance wasn't too far, so the skill cooldown was already over.
Shami imdiately summoned the Teleportation Gate to return.
Despite the complaints.
Once the Teleportation Gate was open, Lureya obediently followed behind Shami and entered.
...
Back in the village, the Tablet Spirit kept staring at Shami with a creepy look.
"I an, if you're afraid of getting picked on, don't stick around here, go back to the inn."
"No way. Humanoid races are even scarier!"
[Water of Life collected.]
Everything needed was now complete. Only the process of reviving the Sli remained, which would complete the first task from the Demons Atlas.
Although Shami was reviving a magical creature for the first ti and had no experience to speak of, it didn't take a genius to figure out that it should be done in a secluded area away from people to prevent accidents.
"You, you're not collecting materials to revive the Sli, are you?"
Suddenly, a gentle voice broke Shami's train of thought. He looked over and saw the Tablet Spirit squatting by a bowl of tree sap, looking at him thoughtfully.
"I've read so records in the Academy Library's Demonic Creature Research Chronicles. Slis are the most common magical creatures among the demon race, and their composition is very simple, mostly natural tree sap with a bit of liquid that can activate biological activity. Although the jelly-like body is harmless, many animals that consu a Sli's corpse enter a mating phase."
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Shami withdrew his gaze.
Lureya bit her white teeth.
Tsk, don't I already know your little tricks?
Why pretend not to know what I'm talking about.
Though she knew sothing about Slis, it was mostly from academy textbooks. With Shami reviving a Sli, how could she miss this once-in-a-lifeti biological experint!
"I need to leave the village this afternoon for a while, so if you have nothing to do, go back to the inn."
Lureya stood up, folding her arms in front of her: "Aren't people suspicious of you always running around aimlessly? There's no villager who neglects farming and is nowhere to be seen all day."
Shami looked over.
The Tablet Spirit opened one eye, squinting slightly at him with the other.
"Just the right timing since my cover's an adventurer here to survey geography and climate, and I happen to lack a guide familiar with the local terrain. If you agree to be my guide, then coming and going from the village for extended periods would be reasonable, right?"
Shami was slightly stunned.
Lureya's little face quirked up slightly.
How's that, touched, aren't you, pretty boy?
"Favorability 1."
"Why only add 1? You shouldn't answer in such a calm tone like a ga NPC! At least show so gratitude! You re villager!"
Lureya huffed in annoyance.
However, she was destined to beco a hero who could not coexist with the Demon King. There's no way she would help the Demon King willingly. All she's doing now is to get closer to the Demon King and collect information about him.
Once she's gathered all the intel, she'll eventually take him down on her own!
In the afternoon, they borrowed the tavern owner's cart to load the tree sap, Lureya's explanation was good, and Shami successfully acted as the cart driver. The two drove the cart out of the village.
Once they reached an uninhabited area, Shami unloaded everything from the cart.
"Help watch out, don't let anyone see this."
"Don't order around, I'm not your underling!"
Lureya retorted defiantly but still dutifully cast a large lv.1 Spirit Protection Array. "It's just the two of us here."
Upon hearing this, Shami followed the Demons Atlas thod, using a ratio of one thousand to one, mixing tree sap and Water of Life, and finally injecting his magic power.
He stood beside the viscous mixture of tree sap and Water of Life, palms facing down, channeling magic power from his palms to form a mysterious dark beam slowly descending.
"Revive! My magical creature!"
Above the wooden basin appeared a small dark purple glow. Witnessing this, Lureya loudly criticized.
"Shami! What a cliché incantation! That's obviously the Demon King's line!"
After the glow disappeared, the liquid in the basin gradually ford a jelly-like creature, approximately half a ter high, oval-shaped, with a pair of eyes hard to spot that were almost the sa color as its body.
[Task completed in Demons Atlas!]
[Successfully revived a common magical creature, Sli!]

The gray box around Sli in the [Demons Atlas] lit up as Shami successfully revived his first common magical creature, unlocking more information about Slis. The entire process was much simpler than he imagined.
And regarding the raw materials, one bottle of Water of Life was just enough to revive one Sli.
Shami looked at the empty bottle of Water of Life in his hand.
Not a drop left.
The Sli, jiggling like a pudding, leapt out of the basin, with magic power containing Shami's scent connecting it to Shami like a bridge. It blinked its large eyes, moved to Shami's feet, rubbing against him.
This is just like a tad pet!
Shami crouched down, touching the Sli in front of him, it felt much better than he imagined, with magic power enhancing the quality of the tree sap, making the Sli exceptionally smooth.
