It is an ideal place to live due to its luxurious buildings, affordable apartnts, five-star restaurants and other splendid places to visit.

The imperial capital was a perfect place for anyone to live... unfortunately even the most beautiful figure of art has its dark side.

A shadow that hides all the ugly that no one wants to see.

A shadow which is in charge of covering everything imperfect that "beauty" doesn't want anyone to see.

It is known as the darkness of the empire.

The dark side of the Arklight Empire was responsible for creating this wonderful place.

It is impossible to achieve peace and a good place to live without getting your hands dirty.

Right now, in one of its dark alleys, despite it being a very bright day, the darkness was moving to make its move.

A man was running for his life.

He was wounded. His arm was slashed and a large amount of blood was falling to the ground.

Behind him were three n dressed in black.

The man was throwing everything within reach so that his pursuers would leave him alone.

His breathing was heavy.

His body was tired from running for hours.

His vision was blurred from not getting adequate sleep from being on guard.

The man finally couldn't hold on any longer and stumbled against so garbage bags.

The repulsive liquid from the garbage stuck to his hair and white shirt, but he didn't mind at all.

He was trying to get to his feet to run away. He wanted to live.

But his pursuers would not allow it.

One of them pulled his foot to drag him.

The man tried to run away. Because, in front of him, there was the light of the street.

The cheerful voices of people could be heard like water running in a bath.

The man tried to touch that light.

He wanted to be saved.

But the darkness of the empire would never allow that.

He was quickly led away.

But not before a little girl noticed a noise in the darkness.

She licked her ice cream with pleasure, but since nothing was reflected in that darkness, she continued on.

The man, after being dragged, was knocked against a wall.

He looked fearfully at his pursuers.

"Please let go! I haven't done anything wrong! Why are you doing this if we are allies!?"

One of the n just looked at him through his mask. He didn't say a word.

"I know! If you let talk to the boss, I'm sure"

"You won't talk to anyone."

From the background a loud and sinister sounding voice ca, approaching with silent footsteps, but even in that darkness, a figure was visible.

It was almost two ters tall and as it approached the man it said.

"The darkness of the empire has decided to swallow you. No one will know what happened or who you were."

The man was crying as he shouted.

"That's absurd! I've always been helping the cause and this is how you repay ! You people are ungrateful!"

The man had a black mask, his eyes covered on the outside, closed on the inside.

"Do it."

With that said, one of the n pulled out a black dagger and approached the screaming man.

"Please don't! I'm so sorry, give a chance please!"

"The darkness has decided that you will die here."

The man scread in agony before he stopped. The tall man left muttering.

"An unbreakable law of the empire is that you can never leave the dark side. Darkness swallows everything, not even light can escape from us."

That was the darkness of the Arklight Empire, a great country to live in. Built under the graves of hundreds of billions of lives over the centuries.
