It was really Marshmallow! Mimi’s most beloved companion! Her precious digital pet! Her highest-level magical beast, painstakingly raised with love, care, and way too many late-night grinding sessions in Arventia Online!
Earlier, Mimi had thought to herself how wonderful it would be if she could see her "babies" here in this world. And now—here it was, real, alive, and in her arms! Her wish had been granted!
The angelic cat wasted no ti. It pounced right on top of Mimi, pushing her down flat as its warm body pressed against her. Its tiny paws kneaded her chest, and then—

"Ahahaha—nooo! Stop! It tickles!" Mimi squealed, her tiny body wriggling as Marshmallow’s raspy tongue covered her cheeks and nose in wet kisses.
But she couldn’t stop laughing. She couldn’t stop smiling. Her whole body shook with joy as she clung to Marshmallow, hugging it tighter and tighter, afraid to ever let go.
The reunion was so heart-stirring, so overwhelming, so full of love, that several whole minutes passed before either of them could finally calm down. Even then, Mimi still refused to let go, burying her face in Marshmallow’s soft snowy fur.

"Mwehehehe~! Marshmallow! You’re sooo soffft!!! SO WARMMMM!!!"
Mimi squealed as she kept hugging Marshmallow tightly, rubbing her cheeks against the cat’s own fluffy face. The snow-white fur was so plush and warm that it almost swallowed her whole tiny body.
Both she and Marshmallow purred together, rumbling so loudly it was like two little prrr-prrr engines running side by side in perfect harmony.
Back in her past life, the most Mimi could do was stare at Marshmallow through a glowing computer screen. She could only "hug" or "pet" her precious companion with silly emojis and typed-out hearts. But now—now it was real! The fur, the warmth, the weight of Marshmallow’s body pressing against her... it was all there! She could bury her whole face in fluff, squeeze her baby until her arms ached, and never let go!
"Hehe, Master is so fluffy too!" Marshmallow giggled, her angelic wings flapping playfully. "Master even has more fur than !"
Mimi burst into laughter, her tail flicking and tapping. "And you’re so big now! You’re even bigger than !"
"That’s because Master is so smol now!" Marshmallow teased, booping Mimi’s forehead with her nose.
"Pffft! Haha! This is the BEST!!!" Mimi kicked her tiny legs in the air, completely overwheld by joy.
anwhile, Lord Sialumis stood off to the side, silently observing the reunion. A gentle smile graced her lips, but her golden eyes shimred with tears. Even she, the mighty dragon, could not remain unmoved in the face of such a pure and heartwarming sight.
"Alright, that aside," Mimi finally caught her breath—though of course, she was still hugging Marshmallow tightly, clinging to her like the fluffiest, softest pillow in the entire universe. "What are you doing here, Marshmallow? Are you gonna co with now? With my Master, Emilia?"
If that was the case, then whatever mission the Goddess Fauveline had planned for her... it was going to be the easiest one ever! A piece of cupcake!
Because even though Marshmallow looked like just a cute little angel cat, she was actually a 10-star Legendary magical beast! Mimi had literally just evolved her right before she died!
Upon reaching this stage, Marshmallow’s appearance had changed. Her white wings had grown larger and more radiant, a glowing halo now spun above her head, and golden divine patterns ran along her fur. Even her footsteps had transford—wherever her paws touched, they left behind shimring rainbow paw prints. At this point, Mimi’s whole body was covered in rainbow-colored paw marks, as if painted by Marshmallow herself.
For comparison, Draco Silvervein, the Fire Dragon Emperor, was only the master of a 9-star magical beast. Just one rank lower—but the gap was like heaven and earth! aning that if Mimi wanted, she could give Marshmallow a single command, and poof! With just one lazy swipe of her paw, Marshmallow could smack him down flat like a re mosquito!

However... Marshmallow’s ears drooped, and she let out a small sigh.

"But don’t worry, Master," Marshmallow chid in, her heterochromia eyes sparkling with warmth. "We will et again soon... once you’ve gotten stronger!"
"M-Marshmallow..." Mimi’s voice trembled as she gazed at her beloved angel, tears already welling in her eyes.
Even if Marshmallow promised they would reunite soon... she wasn’t ready. She wasn’t ready to let go of her dearest baby just yet!
"Now then, please listen carefully, Claire, because I will be explaining your mission," Sialumis said.
Gulp... Mimi straightened, her ears twitching.
"You must have already noticed—there’s a special Trait called Divine in all the Noctifelis’ status, correct? That is not there for no reason."
"Right..." Mimi nodded, now fully focused.
And with that, the dragon finally began to explain the true reason why Mimi had been reincarnated into this world in the first place.
